Yea i believe the NES emulator works just like the GBA one using flash carts. Nothing else works good on it yet, but i heard SNES emulator is catching up a bit, but anything more than that i highly doubt is possible.

Yeah, but right now, they aren't going for the whole surf online bit. Only Connect---->Play with/against peeps with connection as well. They need to keep it that way. I mean, if we need to be near a wireless router or use the USB Plug for the DS to play online, why surf online with the DS if the computer is so close to us?

So we can surf the net while we unleash our unholy demon.

Haha anyway I'm glad I bought a DS, I'm loving it ever since. I'm pretty excited for the wi-fi, it seems to be some good shit, and people are already working a firefox browser for it.

i doubt they will. my friend has it and he was telling me how they lost all the licenses after they made this game.

Wi-Fi
i think eventually they need to make the ds go online like psp. if it's only pairing up people to play it's cool but to me that's so limited. needs surfing abilites damnit.
imo i wouldn't they? they're trying to beat out the psp and surfing online on the ds wouldn't be as retarded as the psp. i think it'd be smart for them to make the ds double as a gaming system and a sort of pda
-------------
Lost in magic
game looks kinda gimmicky. but hey i hope it's another good rpg.
------------
Metroid Pinball
have u guys seen vids of this? go to gamespot. i'm a pinball addict especially on handheld but look at the vids they use both screens and it looks like the separation of screens can be annoying (at least to me). at least they're smart enuff to make level and pinballs to be bigger.

They're trying to beat out the PSP by being a gaming machine. WTF would I want to surf on the net on a small screen for when I'm not that far away from a very usable computer. I swear, this "Adding internet" capabilities seems to be adding just for the sake of, its not necessary. :lame:

How is imitating the competition eliminating it?

TGC
10-10-2005, 12:18 PM
I would want DS to have internet capabilities only if it can usa wireless IAPs that some schools may have, or other places such as starbucks. I dunno if the PSP can do all that, i just know it has some sort of internet thingy, and that's another reason i like the psp, besides being a media player and a big house for emulators. Gaming wise i do love the ds much much much more though, cause psp really doesn't have much to offer.

Even if a system has many features, the point is, if you can minimize the difference in features, then the system has less to offer. Nintendo needs to realize this, even if the ds is outselling the psp right now. You can always increase it by a significant amount, sorta like how ps2 is beating everything in terms of sales.

WHEN ARE WE GOING TO GET WIRELESS FIGHTING GAMES?!?!?

Wireless A3, ST, a Darkstalkers game, or KOF would be TOO GOOD. I bet we won't get it...Capcom is so lazy...

Who is gonna get Mario Kart DS and WiFi on release day Nov 14th with me?

Also, I really REALLY hope we get some sort of CCG games like Card Fighters Clash or a Magic game on Wifi. Not Yugioh or something only... CFC is easily one of the greatest portable games of all time IMO.

My Netplay wishlist:
Any fighting game
SNK vs Capcom Cardfighters Clash
A more realistic racing game than Mario Kart
BOMBERMAN ONLINE!
PUZZLE GAMES (Puyo Puyo, SPF2T, Columns...)

As much as we want it, it's not gonna happen. Even if it does, lag is always gonna be there, and the way i play cvs2, lag will without a doubt fuck up my timings. I don't do 1 frame links TOO often but i do use them, but i still use a lot of links that would be much harder with lag presence.

With those other games, there is lag presence as well, but the human eye can't really detect it, nor do you really feel it, and it doesn't affect you as much because it seems natural. But for people who get into depth with fighting game, i'm talking real depth, not mvc2 players, but hell in some cases them too, lag affects gameplay big time.

Wait what's this with DS emulating NES games?

Long story short.

Sometimes you can burn other emulators on a GBA flash cart.
Since the DS can play GBA games, the flash cart fits perfectly into the GBA slot and you can now play roms
Apparently, the DS can also handle NES games being played on it.
GBA Flash Cart + NES Emulator w/NES games for it = NES games on DS.

To add to the emulation thingy, i think SNES is being worked on currently. It's not like psp right now, but people are working at it. In terms for emulation though, DS will more than likely never catch up to psp, cause of hardware specs, but that doesn't mean a lot of things isn't possible.

I'm somewhere in the 98s too. There are some random walls that you can break down that lead to new rooms. In Symphony of the Night one of the familiars could find hidden walls for you. I wonder if a familiar in Dawn can do the same thing.

for those of you that use gba flash carts,

can they play nes and gba games simultaneously? Like, usually afaik, the load up screen is the emulator itself, therefore i'm under the assumption that you need one cart for nes roms, and one cart for gba roms.

i found a site that has a 512 mb one for 69 bucks, each game is about 4mb for gba right?

AL the great
10-11-2005, 08:00 PM
512 mb is not 512 megs.

in a 512 mb cart it can only fit roughly 13-14 gba files.

Meh. It's in megabits. And since GBA roms can span anywhere from 5 to 20 megabites, I wouldn't expect that large of a number at all.

On average, I can only fit three to four games on my 1 GB flash cart. It all depends on your gaming preference and the size of the games in general.

-Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow is fucking awesome.
-DS goes online with FREE netplay with Mario Kart DS and Tony Hawk next month
-You CAN watch movies on it.

Question to the people with superpass+flashcard: My superpass and flash card are comming in from China sometime this week. I have a 256mb SD card, how much space for example would Castlevania, which I have the legit copy of, take up? The bits bytes thing is very confusing, how big is Castlevania DS in BYTES?

Has a DS flash cart been made yet?

I've been holding on to my DS, mainly waiting for the online wifi. I was planning on picking up a couple of imports (mainly Osu! Tatakae! Ouedan! and Jump Shonen Superstars) but haven't gotten around to it.

I believe the flash carts for GBA work for DS, you just need a piece of hardware called the Super pass and a legit DS game for the flash cart to be able to run NDS.

I'm somewhere in the 98s too. There are some random walls that you can break down that lead to new rooms. In Symphony of the Night one of the familiars could find hidden walls for you. I wonder if a familiar in Dawn can do the same thing.Peeping Eye's soul reveals breakable walls.

You go to start a new life and you first have to get a house. You buy a crappy shack from tom nook, the shop owner guy of the town, and you have to work for him for a little while to pay off your debt. But after that, you're free to do whatever you want, i guess the main point is to upgrade your house to the last, 2 story one. It's extremely fun and addicting, i have over 2 million bells in my bank account.

And airthrow, i noticed you have no sig, plz follow my request in my sig.

in short Animal Crossing is basically nintendo's take on the Sims but without the randomness of your character doing things you don't want it to do. you get to control your guy and do stuff like fishing, weeding, etc. etc. etc.

TGC
10-12-2005, 12:23 AM
I'll try to explain Animal Crossing as well:

Basically what VG said, you start a new life, you pick your name, and you name you Town. When you first arrive you need a place to stay. You get a small shack, and you don't even have enough money for that, so you begin to earn money by doing various things such as fishing, doing errands, selling, whatever.

Other things in town include maintaining the town by planting trees, pulling weeds, pick up trash.

Everything is in real time. There are some things that always happen the same time, same day, such as a dog who gives you music every saturday between 8:00 - 12:00

Anyways, you can also decorate your room with various items in the game. There's also a few select NES games that you can get.

Anyways probably the most comparable game is Harvest Moon. I'd say the sims, but it's not really like the sims, only in certain areas. It was fun my first year, but by then everything is done more than likely, so you'll get bored after that. Until then it's pretty fun though. However i haven't heard anythinga bout the DS one so i dunno yet.

==================================

Fuck i need to get a DS. I'll probably get back into tony hawk because of this little gadget, cause IMO it's been boring since 3.

it is definitely more than possible. the genesis system as far as i know is weaker than the snes. if someone really concentrated to this stuff for fun they would be able to do it very fast. the only reason stuff like emus never get perfected is cuz the peeps that do thiis sort of stuff dont get paid for it. so it's either left imperfect or just never done.

If you liked Harvest Moon you could possibly like Animal Crossing. A lot of people think of it as an incredible game beacause of the 'I can do whatever the hell I want' factor, but in all reality there are some very aggravating things about the game.

If you can only play it at night, don't bother getting it, because 95% of the stuff you can do you can't do at night. It also gets irritating when you forgot to get some random thing because you didn't play on Saturday from 8 to 12.

Once you get everything, the biggest house, and a basement, and all that other shit, the game goes to crap really quick. It becomes purely aesthetics and how much money you can make. That's it.

And after all that, the game actually PENALIZES you for not playing for a while. The neighbors get pissed at you, your house starts getting infested with bugs. It just becomes an annoyance to keep up with.

Disclaimer: All of these opinions are based off of Animal Crossing for the GCN. I have no idea what Animal Crossing DS is going to be like, but you can count on Iren not getting it.

Ninja Edit: I will say that I loved Harvest Moon and hated Animal Crossing. Don't think of it as The Sims, you'd be way off. You don't design your own house, you merely decorate and expand.

I had a cybiko (PDA/Gameplaying thing) in high school and I'm pretty sure the wi-fi in the GBA works the same way, right? The reason they say 50-150 feet is because every room is different, the shape of the room and the stuff in it and a bunch of other factors that aren't easily predictable change how far a signal you can reach, every now and then you get a freak signal of a guy on the next block or so, but that's REALLY rare, usually the limit is for one big room/cafeteria type place.

Mario Kart Update

New details on what could be the biggest DS game yet.

by IGN Staff

October 12, 2005 - Mario Kart DS is shaping up to be one of the biggest titles of 2005, and not just in America. Across the Pacific, Japanese fans are getting set for the game, and Japanese gaming magazines are already providing weekly updates. The latest comes from Famitsu, which scored an interview with Mario Kart DS producer Hideki Konno.

Konno first discusses some of the basics of the game, most of which we've already figured out having played Mario Kart DS at game events such as E3. This first DS Mario Kart follows up on the Game Boy Advance version rather than the recent GameCube Double Dash. Double Dash got rid of the series' jump element, but it's back for DS. Konno states that the game's control is meant to be similar to Mario Kart 64, and even though you use the D-pad, Nintendo has been able to achieve control that compares favorably with analogue control.

Karts are included in greater variety with this title. When racing, karts can be differentiated in terms of handling, drift, driver weight and even the unique ability of some karts to draw out better items. It's all a balancing act, as we've come to expect from the series, and Nintendo is currently in the fine tuning process. While you can have a heavy kart/character combination, making collisions a bit easier, you end up moving too slow. Similarly, if you opt for a kart that draws up better items, you'll find that your top speed is limited. You'll actually find that certain karts can move faster over certain courses.

Drift mechanics take their expected role in Mario Kart's DS racing system. You can view stats for your kart prior to starting a race, and if the kart's drift parameter is low, it will take time for your car to recover grip following a turn, making it easy to under steer. Previous Mario Kart games let you know that you were in a drift by changing the color of smoke coming from your kart, but with MKDS, sparks and flames emerge from below your tires.

In addition to drift, you'll also need to use opponent slip streams in order to achieve the fastest time. This was featured in previous titles, and makes it easy to turn the race around even without the use of items.

A few new details are also revealed on the game's Online mode. The game will allow players to use a decal editor to design their own 32x32 decal and show it off to opponents. On the topic of friend lists, Konno reveals that the DS will store up to 60 people in this list. Once you've played someone in a local WiFi match, he's automatically entered into your friend list, although you can exchange friend codes with distant players in order to manually build up your list as well.

Multiplayer play includes classic modes such as time attack and balloon battle, with the game allowing you to equip five balloons to your car. New for MKDS is the "Atsumete Shine" (Collect Shine) mode of play where players race to collect the most Shines (those star-like happy-faces from Mario Sunshine). By hitting your opponent, you can reduce his Shine count.

But Mario Kart DS isn't just about multiplayer play. The game will feature a new Mission Run mode where players are given a specific kart and asked to perform tasks on the raceway. Missions include making your kart move through tire-shaped gates in order and using items to take out crabs in a free-roaming battle stage. Your goal is to beat pre-set times, and doing so earns you new karts.

Nintendo is packing the game with new elements. In addition to a reappearance of all old items, you'll have access to new items. One item splashes an opponent's screen with black ink. Players who've been struck with this item are encouraged to drive by looking at the bottom screen, which shows the race from an overhead perspective. Another item turns you temporarily into a Bullet Bill. In this form, you lose control of your kart, but automatically strike opponents.

As for courses, in addition to a retro cup featuring classic courses that were selected by the developers, the game includes the Nitro Cup, featuring a set of new, challenging courses: Puku Puku Beach (filled with crabs that, if touched, make you spin out), Luigi's Mansion, Eight Cross Circuit (shaped like an 8) and Yoshi Falls (which is banked to make falling off the course easy).

The wait is almost over! Mario Kart DS is set for Japanese release on 12/8, to be preceded by American release on November 14.

Well the DS has the better games in a lot of people's opinions, and if it could have some of the features of a psp, then psp is almost non-existant that's all. The thing is, the DS is capable of doing that, so that's why people want it.

About the video players on the ds, such as play-yan

I haven't tried it, but i have heard that video quality is reduced slightly, but not significantly. Audio i believe didn't have a problem, and if it did, it was from the source file, not the play yan's fault. The play yan is 80 bucks without a card, so you're almost paying about 200+ dollars for video, music features. The psp is still more expensive because it's 250 plus memory stick, but everything currently is more high quality, such as the screen display, quality of videos, and extra features.

But like i said, it's like that currently, and anything could change. SNES emulation might be around the corner for DS, but remember folks it will never catch up to PSP in terms of emulation, but emulation on psp isn't perfect either yet.

AL the great

OHHHHHH SHIT.

Tgc's got my back:tup:
----

the play yan is exactly like tgc said.

the gameboy movie player v.2 is pretty good. not super perfect but good. it was crappy at first actually but someone came out with a program that makes movies play alot better/mp3s alot clearer. for 25 bux you cant lose period.

you can play alot of Nes files but the reason the movie player v.2 is limited it's because like someone said, it's ram mem is only like 192k or some crap so that's the limit on that card.

someone recently was able to unlock the 192k limit i forget the technicalities but if i'm correct it's something like the mem reading the first 192k then after u get further into the game it reads the rest. so any NES files will work now and pretty sure gameboy files.

this all sounds complicated but if you google it about the gameboy movie player you'll see forums clearing this stuff up. it's really easy to do
hope that helps.
============================
EDIT:

*************WARNING*****************
almost forgot. do not buy movie player v.2 off ebay. those are pirated knock offs and if you upgrade the software on it (software is so it will make movies and media better quality) it will just crash. order only from lik-sang. redoctane i think has some too i'd go with them too.

TGC
10-13-2005, 02:48 PM
Yea that's the good one i've been reading about, and the one Al is talking about. It comes with software, where you put some settings like brightness, contrast, and compression, and it will convert for you. After that, put the file on the CF card, put the card on your GBAMP, and watch a movie. Movies when converted usually are cut down by 1/2 it's size, so you can DL movies off the net that are like 700 megs, and it will be cut down to about 350.

I think if you want to put mp3s directly, you have to have some sort of hacked firmware for the MP, but i'm not exactly sure.

I would get one of these things, but I was gonna get an iPod for christmas, and since it can play video already, i really won't need this anymore.

YEP! It will cost about say....80 bucks or so, depending how much you want to spend on the compact flash card itself.

Movie Player is about 30
512MB CF card ranges from 30 - 45 dollars, obviously depending on quality

VGEmblem: The Play Yan is at least 80 to begin with. Then you need SD card with that one i believe, and it's a bit more expensive than compact flash.

The one I've been talking about the whole time is called the Game Boy Media Player, (or movie player, whatever). And that is this one:
http://www.lik-sang.com/info.php?cat...ducts_id=3983&

This is the one that's gonna take about 80 bucks from your wallet.
The Movie player = 30 (after shipping)
The Compact Flash Card = 30-45
The Compact Flash Read/Writer = 20

If you ever DLed a movie off the internet, they average around 700MBs. You can cut these to about 350 after conversion, so you can fit one movie on there, and random clips if you want on that. I'm not sure on mp3s, whether they are compressed or not, but with 512, you can still put almost 100 songs on there, depending on their size of course.

is this the right compact writer/reader, for 5 dollars!?

so gba movie thing 25, flash card 512 (i don't need 1gb) 29.99 from sunday newspaper, writer/reader 5= about 70 after shipping? fucking way better than 129.99 retail psp 1gb card.

so I can get the compact flash card from any good electronic store, I don't need to get an exact one from lik sang right?

It's obvious that people don't want the DS to be like the PSP...the DS actually has games worth buying.

Hey no lie there man.

I think the PSP is way cooler then the DS, better design, cooler shit you can do, music movies, everything. I love my PSP just for all these features.

But it has NO FUCKING games. NONE. Darkstalkers takes forever to load ( how fun is a fighting game you can't really play with two people anyway ? ) and Lumines got boring. *those were the two games VS bought*

But on the contrary The DS is starting to look badass as shit now. And that makes me sad because I have no money.

I am going to try my damnest to hustle up some money to get a DS as soon as possible just so I can play all these badass games. Maybe I can just be patient and wait for the price to come down a lot.

Nintendogs, Castle-FUCKING-vania, Kirby, ANIMAL CROSSING, Advanced Wars, I mean shit. I really WANT a DS. Ibow2no1 has been hyping this lawyer game all day too.

I guess I can get one for Christman, damn this college bullshit.

yeah psp is still cool, and it just feels better showing it off.

The best games for it that are coming out, are just like ps2 games though.

Virtua tennis, ssx on tour are both solid sports games, and look spectacular on psp. Katamari is also coming out. but they are just DC and PS2 rehash games.

But there's just something about castlevania, mario kart, animal crossing, nintendo dogs, mario and luigi (i bought a gba solely for mario and luigi 1) that makes the DS better. it's more original.

Exactly what I was thinking. I was like Oh shit, PSP is getting X Men legends with 4 new characters and new missions and shit ! WOO !

Then I saw the price, and immediated decided to buy it for X Box so me and my friends can all play.

Bring out some cool games Sony, c'mon, just copy off of nintendo and do it better. I know it's in you ! If I'm going to spend 44 dollars for a handheld game it better be top tier new shit. Like the new Ghosts and Goblins. That is worthy of a purchase, and should be an example of the type of games that need to be made. Sony should take advantage of that beautiful screen and get some badass 2D rpgs. A new 2D castlevania would look INSANE on that screen. STOP BEING STUPID SONY, MAKE SOME FUCKING GAMES.

yes a 2d castlevania on psp would own so bad. doesn't need a touch screen to be good.

speaking of virtua tennis, it's like why get that game, when you can wait for topspin for ps2, or if you have xbox, play with 4players, much better than psp.

yea they're decent games but ur exactly right they're rehashes. nothin original as much as virtua tennis is fun as hell. katamari.....i really dont know what makes everyone dry hump this game. i mean it's 20 bux but it's not that great of a game as people say it is. i bought it, played for 1 hour and gave it a chance and that's it. after that 1 hour it's now collected dust haha.

edit:
i do agree with pricing for psp. one of the reasons that i decided to get ds over psp was game prices. seriously for a handheld game for 49.99 it better be able to suck my dick better than my girlfriend can on command. 50 bux for a handheld game is no joke. i'm already getting sort of pissed ds is having balls to release games over 29.99 LOL.
========

yea losing something small like a stylus is a bitch to buy sinc they're like 8 bux for a piece of plastic nintendo is gay like that. my friend lost his gamecube gameboyadvance player install disk and nintendo wanted to charge him 20 dollars for the fucking disk. the player itself is only worth 50 bux (if that).

yes a 2d castlevania on psp would own so bad. doesn't need a touch screen to be good.

Not gonna happen bro. Not only due to Sony's "conditions" regarding 2D games, but the fact that Iga has said more than a few times he wants the CV games before Dracula's death (aka 3D) on a Sony console and will leave the future arc (aka the badass 2D) exclusively on Nintendo's handhelds.

Jesus, the roles are starting to reverse. Nintendo's mostly got their shit together, and Sony's all screwed up due to the arrogance of the top brass. You need to fix this, Kutaragi. Yes, it's your fault.

Use the stylus, not your finger.

I really love this Castlevania game, but as time goes on an on, I really think it would be better if they didn't implement the touch screen at all. It's nice that the DS has it and it definately works with some games (Advance Wars, Nintendogs..), but with Castlevania it feels like they're just using it because the DS has it.

Im totally getting ds for christmas this year, I seriously havent been this excited about any game systems (handheld or otherwise) since the dreamcast launch. at first glance I thought "oh,ds is gonna die out quick" and "psp looks so cool! think of the games they could make" and it was the complete opposite, ds is amazing and psp's only appeal is its average games and movies (even though Ive seen mini dvd players at half the psp price). Both you and Emblem should just shut the hell up and sodomize each other. Who the hell cares what other people think of the PSP or DS. They're both handhelds each with their own pros and cons. The PSP might be better for one person than another for different reasons.
I own both a DS and PSP and I use them both for different reasons. I don't think one is better than the other because each handheld has somthing to offer that the other doesn't. I get the best of both worlds.

nothing new in the ds department the past few days. we probably wont see anything new until beginning of Nov.

only thing new is lots of new screen shots for pokemon ds (apparently there is a red/blue version but also another game based off the movie or some crap).

also new movies on ign for prince of persia ds this game is strategy based and not platform which i'm kinda dissapointed.

what boggles my mind is that there are still 0 screen shots for xmen legends 2 for ds. i know they will have to make it cell shaded lookin but still, 0 screens.

and to top off the day, marvel nemesis gets a whopping 3.5 from gamespot AHHAHAHAHAHAAH.

The pokemon game in november is coming out in japan at the time, and i doubt it will make it to the US before year's end.

The story is something like You're a human. You are asked a bunch of questions in the beginning and this determines your form. If you have ever played Animal Crossing, and answered the questions in the beginning to determine your sex and face, you'll know what i'm talking about.

Forms so far I think are charmander and pikachu. There are others though.

Pearl and Diamond will be out NEXT year. And yea, DS news is pretty slow right now, but by november it won't matter cause everyone is gonna be playing online.

is this thing really gonna be online? if it is it could really be revolutionary for pokemon.

if it seriously is online and u can trade with 6 year old kids i want them to give me their pokemon then unplug it when i'm about to give mine to them. i'd like that alot, yea.

after that i'd write on the stylus "XBOX LIVE OWNS U biTCH"

Real Time Conflict: Shogun Empires comes out Oct. 25. This will be the first RTS on the DS. It looks intersting(I've been keeping my eye on it), but I'll wait for reviews

Mcdonalds To Provide 6,000 Wireless DS Spots

Nintendo has signed an agreement with Wayport, a leading provider of wired and Wi-Fi high-speed Internet access in public locations, to extend Wi-Fi service to Nintendo DSTM users at nearly 6,000 McDonald's restaurants across the United States. Through the agreement with Wayport, Nintendo will offer complimentary access to Nintendo® Wi-Fi Connection, the video game giant's new wireless gaming service that goes online Nov. 14.

The wifi adaptor is only gonna be available from nintendo.com, not in stores, WTF?

From http://ds.ign.com/articles/659/659017p1.html:

IGN: Why will the Wi-Fi USB adapter only be available through Nintendo.com and not retailers?

Beth Llewelyn: The feeling initially was that a lot of people were either going to have a wireless router at home or would have the ability to go to a McDonald's and have access in a number of ways, so we decided to make it initially available on Nintendo.com and just see how it goes.

Does this mean if I have a wireless router at home (I am connecting with it right now in fact) that I don't need Nintendo's adaptor at all, I can just go through my own router?

they're not going to delay this for christmas season. no where on the sites i go to saying mario kart is delayed. also they are releasing mario kart with DS simultaneously the same month too.

delaying this until after christmas would be shooting themselves in the face, it's not gonna happen.

ChairHome

Yes, source please on the delay, I see nothing. I don't think they'd delay it, especially right after they announced the bundle pack that they are releasing in the same month.

As for the Wi-fi key question, yes, if you have a wireless router, you do not need the key. There will probably be a low percentage of NDS wifi users that do not have a wireless router, which is why they do not need to sell it in stores.

Sorry for the scare but I went to Gamestop today and was trying to prepay but they said that it's Nov 15th date has been moved to next year for some unknown reason. I guess it might be only affecting Gamestop but that wouldn't make any sense either.:bluu:

so what are good games except for castlevania ds?

how's phoenix attourney, or trace memory? I don't htink i'll like advance wars, cuz i'm not into those types of games.

what about meteos? I heard it was made by the same company that made lumines for psp, and while lumines is good, it got old to me, and I never play it anymore.

Do I have to wait for mario kart ds?

I would like to take this moment to re-emphasize the greatness of Advance Wars DS.

That and Shogun Warriors/Sonic Rush/Mario Kart are all due out mid-next month (according to Gamestop).

Speaking of Mario Kart, are there gonna be LAN parties at McDonald's (http://ds.ign.com/articles/659/659005p1.html) or what? LOL.

I wonder if shogun warriors will be any good?

You just plug the Wifi thing into a USB hole on your computer. The DS has built in Wifi you don't have to plug anything into the DS itself.

today's DS news:

lots of new screen shots of [Touch Golf] for DS. this is a golf game purely using stylus. looks really promising, graphics look solid for ds too.

the rumble pack coming out with metroid pinball will also work with the upcoming RPG Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time slated for a December release in the west.

Nintendo is currently developing Mario Paint for Nintendo DS, slated for release in mid-to-late 2006. suppose to use wireless feature along with the Revolution???
