I take it the blue background has to be selected to stop lag ( KneeB4me explained this to me).

So do you guys tells the other person via headset to select it as I played a couple guys yesterday who selected other ones and lag affected my K groove.

One guy selected Kyosuke and I had to choose N groove ( when these guys seleceted the other backgrounds ) and me without a fireball char, so with Kyosuke he kept just doing his FB and I couldn't do anything to get in close and even the roll was coming out shit slow.

it is just common courtesy to pick the training stage, as it has less lag then the other stages with the moving backgrounds.

Why even compare CVS2 Live to the real thing.....its pointless to even try to play LIVE like the real thing, most shit would just be beat by RCs anywayz. So whats the point of even trying to emulate offline play. Why even assume you would play like offline??? The only thing that matters is winning for most ppl, or having a good time.

Most ppl here that are good offline and get beat down by online "scrubs" remind me of these "Poker Gods" like Phil Helmuth ect that cry cause ppl are chasing shit they shouldnt be in the first days of the world series of poker. I play offline and don't use rc. i play online an don't use lag tactics well not purposely just the way i play sometimes are though of lag tactics like small jump blanka is my offline play and if i do it online it's called lag abuse. But eh i don't care anyway i play online again cuz it gives me something to do while i get paid.

Yeah but your good offline and online too. Mostly I think cause you never relied on RCs. There are ppl like that online. Im talking about ppl who just RC who think they are good, when its taken away from them and replace with totally riduclous tactics they freak. They never had to think for themselves just RC all day. You, never really having to use RCs has made you "smarter". Its hard to explain.... Im mostly talking about decent ppl offline who think they are good do to like RCs and shit. Online you know who the good ppl are. Like smooth Tr3nt Gl0ry ect, you can tell they are good offline. I think its funny how ppl can come here expecting to be all awesome then get owned by roll throw. The biggest part of this game Besides Execution and strategy is Adaptability.

Most ppl online are just brain dead, they wont stick it out and learn how to adapt. Its soooo much easier to say ur a scrub or u abuse lag. Online that is part of the game, try to prepare for shit like that. If you know your string is not connect cause of lag and your opponent rubs supers all day, try stopping and blocking mid string. OMG they super, most times you can roll or activate through the super and punish. How hard is that. You win they loose/drop THEN you call the scrub!!!

Anyway the only reason I play on live is because I need to play actual decent comp more than once or twice every week or 2. I at least like to keep the bs to a minimum. Some of the live shit is just plain retarded and unavoidable sometimes.

Btw I do agree with you rick. I can tolerate the game a lot more thinking like that but it only works for so long. I like the game offline and I like the game online sometimes... Rc and shit has nothing to do with it (just makes it easier for me)
