Is there any window for the opponent to roll out of low D cancelled into Galactica Phantom?
Edit: Nevermind, yeah there is, I tested it out. Can anyone think of a useful trap or something for this LDM?
Also, any general strategies would be appreciated for anyone who plays him, he seems fun so I decided to pick him up.

With his autoguard throw, I've never understood why he's not considered a solid character.
In other KoFs I've found that Ralf's normals make for a solid gameplan in and of themselves. His c.C is good enough to just do all day, it combos into his charge b, f + P special, and that special can be supercanceled into his ground-and-pound super.
Problems off the top of my head:
No safe b&b combo.
Shaky anti-air special.
Lots of weird specials that don't work all that well (particularly the uppercut that's only really good in combos).
I was thinking that it might be fun to make a project of a new character...anybody else interested in picking this guy up?

Played with Ralf some last night.
His c.C -> Gatling Attack combo doesn't always connect. Maybe c.C -> Vulcan Punch would work better?
I'm pretty sure I got hit out of the charge d, u + P special as I had just started to rise. I wasn't impressed. Maybe the autoguard grab as an anti-air?

ive been useing him for a while now. his biggest asset is he can combo his C from max range into either of his level 1 supers. he can also combo it into his charge back - forward move, his uppercut, and his million fists of flameing vengance!.... or whatever its called. anyways, his ralf kick has invisability frames (pure invis, not autoguard.) and makes for a decent AA if done a little early.

from startup till he gets into the air.
Oh, I gotta check it out. I had been using his Million fists thing as an early anti-air before. But I was getting killed with all the hops. One move that I use on occasion is in close, or off a tag, C -->Vulcan punch, and then do another immediatley after. Most people will roll out of the way, but end up eating it the first time.

IF you manage to land that damned DP+P move of his, you can setup into LDM or Tag Combo (if they are NOT on the ground, set it up to where the are sent in the air spinning)
If you want "Super Duper Punch of Fucking Doom" goodness, Give Joe a try - I did and he gets the job done.
Other then that, good luck - Ralf is on 2003's "I got raped" list right up there with Blue Mary.

his LDM has uber priority and auto-guard. The only things the auto goard won't go through is power stream and Mukai's leader.
