Smiles is a stand-alone arcade on the Boston Post Road in Milford, CT. There is an arcade in most malls in CT - the arcade you're going to could be a Time Out, F.Y.E. , Jester's, or more. Let us know which arcade and which mall you went to and maybe some of us will come down sometime for a meet-up.

I use to live in CT until 96. Since it's been 6 years since I've been there I'm curious to know where you guys play...other than home. Milford Amusement Center is the only place that I've been to. Aren't there more places for comp?

Milford Amusement Center has since become Smiles Entertainment Center and has surpassed all the CT arcades past and present pretty much. Back in the day everyone was undecided on what was the best CT arcade: F.Y.E. , The Old Jester's, Time Out, Milford Amusement, etc. Now there's no doubt in anyone's mind - it's Smiles. Because of this, for the most part the majority of CT players can be seen and played at Smiles at one time or another.

Smiles is the best in Connecticut, but to some people that's not saying much considering how deteriorated CT arcades have become over the years. However, Smiles definately is the best. They get a lot of great games besides fighters, and... for the most part... keep their fighting games with working controls and a decent playability level. They're also the only place with CvS 2 in the state!

'96 was a long time ago and Smiles was pretty up-and-down then and didn't get a lot of the smaller cult-hit type games. I mean, they had a pretty impressive collection of Street Fighter games back then though from SF2 series to Alpha and more but the controls weren't always good enough to pay for.

Some things never change, but others do!

After checking out one of the threads on building your own arcade stick, I decided that would be a fun thing to try over the summer. Anyone else interested? I find that learning with a group tends to make things easier as at least one of the people seems to know what's going on at any given time! Oh yeah, what was up with practically no one playing CVS2 last Friday? I was just waiting to get some practice in on it, and I asked people to play, can't believe I got "No's". I'm not that terrible:eek:

Me and "The Mini-Crew" minus one member were there that Friday. My bro played you, I know that but me and Keaver didn't cause the controls were dilapidated. I would have played anyway but I was playing MvC 2 and MvC 1 with some people I haven't fought in ages. I also was playing plenty of games other than of the fighter genre so... my bad but next time if the controls are acceptable I'll try to get at least one game of CvS 2 in against you.

As for the arcade stick project, sounds interesting and rewarding but... I don't think I have enough time and money for it right now. There's bound to be someone who will go co-op with you on it though.

CT supermarkets sometimes have rare stuff that you won't find in other places, plus there's crack viles in the oysters at the seafood tanks. But that's our little secret right? Indeed.

If you want to build an arcade stick, do I have a deal for you! No, seriously though, I built my own arcade stick and I love it. Mine came out pretty good, and ran me about 50/60 because I had to get some tools and whatnot. If you can take some crazy soldering, and manage to find the right controller, you can do it. Then again, this is assuming you have a dreamcast. If not then I am sorry, for I may not help you.

Danbury Mall's arcade has CvS 2? Wow, a lot must have changed since the last time I was there. All I can remember is a busted XsF, a busted MvC 1 and no MvC 2.

A few questions about the CvS 2 unit it has and the arcade in general if you don't mind:
1. What button style does it have? The concave style of most US Capcom fighters or the alternative of the flat buttons? (The DC green buttoned ASCII stick has the flat buttons.)
2. Is the Danbury Mall's arcade still a Time Out?
3. What other popular or mainstream fighters or other games does it have? (MvC 2, MvC 1, SF3, Alpha 3, DDR, Police 9-11, etc.)

I would imagine at least a few people from the other parts of CT would make the trip at least once to check Danbury's CvS 2 out. A 2nd CvS 2 in CT, making progress? ...

You got that right. I just came back from California and the difference in gaming spirit from here and there is mind-boggling. I'm from West Hartford so I know exactly just how much this is NOT a gamer state. I guess the cloest resemblance for an arcade is Tilt in Buckland Mall. Ive never been to Smilies, never heard of it. Kind of far. Then again, I go to Boston frequently, so I should check it out. My programming job has kept me clear away from competition for a good 2 months. I'm sure I'm a bit rusty. i mean, being a state so small....we shouldnt be dissed as bad as we have been. we cant help having a smaller population than Cali..we cant help but not be able to peak the intrest of other gamers as easily with the Cali sceen.

Using the size of our state as an excuse for mediocrity is ridiculous! Simply compare our state to RI. CT deserves every insult thrown at it. CT is trash because our "good" players are stupid and/or lazy and i'm not talking about the button mashers.

Stupid and/or lazy eh? Sorry that NO arcades have working controls, despite our efforts to talk to technicians and management to fix them up. When Smiles had a manager that was willing to listen, we had two huge state tournaments and lots of competition. Now that he's gone, theres jack shit that we can do. SORRY but no we can't drive over an hour to go to Fall River or up there near you guys just to play one or two good people, that's a waste of time....we can just go to Chinatown like we've been doing for the past few weeks and face much better comp anyway.

Don't insult us because the arcade scene in Connecticut is dying, due to an emphasis on ticket games and making money, rather than keeping a consistent customer base by getting the newest SF games and upkeeping them. That's not our decision. When you decide to open up your own arcade for the gamers, let us know. Until then, get off our dicks.

I'm not trying to downtalk anybody here. Just that the games that you guys play (CvS2, A3 etc) are not played by the so called "good" players in CT, with the exception of James. We play MvC2, Xsf, and ST to some extent, and that's it, because thats all the arcades have down here that works (or maybe I should say HAD because now nobody even has those games working anymore). So in order to get good competition in those games, namely MvC2, we have to look to Chinatown....a variety of players with differing skill levels, ranging from scrub to really good to the best in the world. CvS2 has Eddie Lee, Sanford, Justin and Jerron...and sometimes Henry Cen....and thats it. So if we cared, we would probably come play you guys.....

But nobody plays CvS2 here. It's nothing personal.

He of all people aren't worth our time as we found out last spring when he and his boy came to a gathering at Marcel's........He was decent in CvS2 and that's not saying much as he SUCKS in all the other games!:lol: But aside all that, we go to places once in a while and when we go we stay all day or even sleep over! Chinatown we go to from time to time...........8 on the Break for major stuff only, and we go to Good Times in Summersville, MA around 5 or 6 times a year, and our peeps from there come here as well!........Our cats from R.I. goes just about everywhere all the time cause there's not as many heads where they at that play games like we like to play, but other then that everyone else just keep doing what we do!

When I made my comments, I voiced on what I saw and experienced. The closing of Jester's Courtyard was what really influenced my stand on this.

James, CT's problem are the lack of attention spans some of us have for competision. Some are intrested...granted. However, this state has a lot of people who get bored very quickly and do not want to dedicate themselves to a game as much as some of us...me included. I played fighting games all the time back when I first met Ron and the rest of the Horsemen. I now don't play as much due to work and a hectic social life. That doesnt mean I don't want to still play ya know. Some people just dont share my viewpoint on this I'm afraid.

Turning this thread into a flame war isn't going to solve anything.

On a side note...the idea of a gathering does sound good to me Ron. I feel like practicing CvS2 again for a good reason...to get back in fighting game shape.

CT is experiencing another one of it's famous "Six Months Of More BS Than Normal." This happens all the time. All at once every arcade starts sucking big time. This time it's like the worst only because Smiles is, with everyone in total agreement, the ONLY decent arcade in CT. So basically, the other arcades stay like ****, and if Smiles starts going to hell too then we're screwed.

Smiles is like a joke right now. Tons of games aren't just experiencing the usual BS controls, the whole machines are turned off! Look at DDR 3rd Mix, completely taped up and off. Even misc. games like Episode 1 Racer, and other stuff like that is completely off. Daytona and racing games have like one or two gears working. DDR 5 is even having messed steps. One of the biggest attractions for Smiles, MvC 2, has a completely POS job on it. The monitor is completely black most of the time, sometimes it's black with some orange. Do they bother to tape up the coin slots? No. It's been like this for 3 weeks + too.They leave the game running, you can hear the sounds. Me and my bro played one game with a pitch black screen listening for the sounds to see what was going on and who are chars were for the hell of it. Sounds like fun right? Some people were putting up tokens for the next turn, they go for their next turn and go "WTF why is it black?" Heh.

The days when Allen was around were like The New Golden Age of gaming in CT. Now that he's gone, it's another dark, depressing time. I mean, the scene in CT right now feels like another total blowout like the end of the SF2 series' massive popularity days. It's probably hard for some of the more casual players to even imagine the scene is thriving anywhere because of the state of our state. It's always been somewhat like this, but it's reaching lower and lower - lower probably than the last crap time we had. Our players can't even play in our own state. Most of CT has to travel to NY, NJ, Mass, or RI just to play on a working machine.

Ticket games and busted machines that "mashers" and "scrubs" pump money into are the main business of our arcades. Look at Time Out in the Post Mall, it's been completely redone so it has like 3 fighting games and like 5 games total. The rest is ticket stuff. Look at F.Y.E. in Trumbull Mall, same thing. Now we have CvS 1 though! LoL. (The sticks are already messed too, jeez.)

I hate ranting like this because it's like a real downer and it seems like we as a whole are always complaining. The complaints are more than justified though. On a positive note, I think I could see CT getting hardcore at Ms. Pac-Man or air hockey! Power pellets = too powerful.

I dont know why your busting on my crew cuz for one, The only good players in East CT are ME, JAMES, ADAM, AJ, and Tony. While West CT has a crap load of decent to good players. James is above decent in CvS2, hes also above decent and other games too. He doesnt even play mvc2 and owns above DECENT players all the time. Just because he plays a game you dont play doesnt mean you have to hate. Each state and area has their own games. Though I think we should try to get some big get together so we can get some practice before evo. I need some practice bad.

Ok where do you guys play anyways...i want to get in on the action. You guys have never seen me play and thats a good thing for me. So give me some arcades you guys play at and i'll stop by.....

We've said many times on this thread that we only have one decent arcade. But... even that right now I wouldn't recommend coming down from out-of-state for if you're mainly an MvC 2 player. MvC 2 has had a completely black screen for about a month now and it looks like it could be longer until any progress is made on it. But... for the most part at least... CvS 2, MvC 1, VF3, VF4, and SF3 are playable. The arcade is "Smiles Entertainment Center" in Milford, CT. For directions / more info check out their site at:

If you post on here when you're coming down ahead of time it'd be much better because as of late, not a hell of a lot of the recognized players have been going because of it's lackluster condition and other reasons like training out-of-state. If you're into DDR, Smiles recently got DDR Max 2 but it's $2.00 for 3 songs and it's on an old 3rd Mix machine which means the hold steps don't always work cause the condition of the machine, heh.

In summary, right now the whole arcade is bootleg so make the trip at your own risk. :)

Jesus H Christ, if I don't look at this thread for a week, all hell breaks loose! Seriously, I don't understand why anyone would want to flame CT's lack of...everything. Sorry guys, we're the third smallest state. BUT RHODE ISLAND IS SMALL TOO AND AND AND!!! Shut the hell up. Come live in this state and see what it's like to meet anyone who's into anything . The whole state has lots of short-comings, don't rag on it. The very fact that some people are trying to represent should be more than good enough for all the various nay-sayers out there. It's been said before; there is basically ONE arcade in the ENTIRE state. They only have ONE MACHINE for each game they have, if they even have it. MVC2 has been 100% down for over 2 weeks. The sticks on CVS2 are completely shit-fucked (nice word eh?). There is no Third Strike or CVS1 or XSF or a ton of other games. When people do show up to play, there's a line to play 5-6 people long. Think about the average round time on CVS2. If a match lasts 3 minutes and you've got 5 people in front of you...that's right...MATH...15 minutes per-game? In an HOUR I only get to play 4 games against good competition? That actually happens over at Smiles. In say, New York or Cali, they have several copies of each game so you can get in more games per hour, hence play more per hour, hence get "more better" at a faster rate, and play against better competition. This all leads to players in these states having an overall higher pool of competition. Oh and BTW, their sticks probably WORK and are kept in at least DECENT condition, UNLIKE the sticks at Smiles and every other "Arcade" in the state. The few people in CT that do want to improve show up at Smiles whenever they can, but most often have to go out of state to play any real comp, which takes a large amount of time and money for a small amount of gaming time and experience. I'm not "making excuses" so don't accuse me of anything so :lame: . I am just providing out of state players with facts. Complaints such as "go out of state and GET good competition" might have some merit to them, but please, no one else is putting up the costs of playing out of state, so that argument has no weight. I offer an equal counter-argument just to show how free of anything called substance the previous argument is; out of state competition should come to CT to play us and improve our level of play. That shifts the cost burden to "you" ; get the point? About CT players being lazy or unmotivated; I don't buy it. Cali and NY surely have lazy and unmotivated players; they don't go to the arcade each week. I do, even though I'm not GOOD, I'm NOT lazy or unmotivated. Sure I'm fucking discouraged by the shittiness of my state's ONE "decent" arcade, but I have to live with it and make the best out of it. What some of the other people on the thread have been saying makes the most sense; CT players should get together outside of Smiles and play at home vs each other. All the games are ported and I'm sure people have arcade sticks. I don't know, get creative, have one person host it one day. and switch hosts next week etc. Fuck it, I'm done writing. No love to CT "hatas".

Your "attack" is silly; it somehow implies that every single player in CT simply mashes buttons randomly. There are button mashers in every state, just like there are scrubs in every state, Maine included.

You can't be much of a pimp at CVS2 if you're not gonna mash when thrown by Blanka, Zangief, Dhalsim, Honda, etc al. If you want to eat all the extra damage from various throws where button inputs matter, by all means do so. And on the other side of the coin, I'm glad you won't be putting anymore inputs in for any of the moves that do variable damage based on how much you mash. Ken's shinryuken is the one I use most often. Saying that mashing applies only to MVC2 and NO other SF is silly. Hell in SFA3, and I QUOTE from the DreamCast American instruction book pg.16 : "DAMAGE REDUCTION Press the Analog Thumb Pad, D-Button or Joystick + Punch or Kick buttons rapidly. This move reduces damage when you're under attack or blocking." Mashing gets just as much printed about it as do supers, it's clearly something you should know how to do effectively, not just randomly. Heh, this thread surprises me more every day. Oh well... Time for the weekly Smiles report!

MvC 2 = Completely off now, that's right no more playing the game by sound with a completely pitch black screen, the whole machine is off now and taped up.
CvS 2 = Right side is completely unplayable. To even do something like a Hadoken motion, you have to do an extreme Tiger Knee. You have to punch it down to crouch in the game, and even then it barely works. The joystick is not only complete crap, but the buttons seem to be out of sync as well...
MvC 1 = Right side is chunky and gets "stuck" in a position like 3rd Strike's, err I mean SF3's used to.
Soul Calibur = Yeah, still #1, it's completely off and taped up.
SF 3 = Didn't really test it, I'm guessing still slightly messed. Probably the most playable of all the games.
Virtua Fighter 4 = This one is too funny! The techs have it set so if you get more than 3 wins you get a Game Over no matter what! Good job.

The highlight of the night had to be when my friend goes and gets a tech to look at CvS 2's busted @$$ self. The tech moves the joystick around in a circular motion, and says to him "Looks fine to me, dude." Then he walks away... I mean, he didn't go into a config screen to see whether the stick's various positions were registering 1's, 2's or 3's, hell they probably woulda been the default idle 0's! He just moved it around and saw it didn't fall into the machine ala F.Y.E.'s techs. :)

But hey, we have DDR Max 2 ; $2 for 3 songs, fail the first song and you're outta $2. Heh. Oh well.

Oh wait! It reminds me! With the condition of the arcade being so beyond neglected, we got kicked out early! For what? A lock-in of course! They're charging some poor saps $20 to play on this busted stuff, completely non-working stuff, etc. The only people going are probably for DDR Max 2 which is the only reasonable reason. If anyone from the Groton / James / AMinorThreat area came up that night, it woulda been pretty sad. This was on Friday night, BTW.

Time Out in the Connecticut Post Mall in Milford has Soul Calibur 2. I was gonna post this sooner, but... whatever. Time Out is actually a decent arcade again after a super degenerative period of time. There still are a lot of ticket games but it's different now. They have Tekken 4, MvC 2, Soul Calibur 2, MvC 1, Dance Maniax and some other stuff. Best of all, it's right down the street from Smiles. Only thing is since it's in the mall it closes considerably earlier than Smiles does. Soul Calibur 2's controls seemed alright but the majority of the other stuff remains untested. Could it be CT now has 1 1/4 decent arcades now?

dude, believe me when say that i know what he could be going thru. i mean personally at first i didnt like to travel...but i use traveling to other places as an excuse to meet new people. i just didnt think him using his gaming prowess and lack of worthy competision as an excuse not to attend...nobody is fuckin Ryu here. :D

but the way things are...its almost like people misinterpret (typo) what the true meaning of Horsemen Gatherings are...they are an excuse to gather, eat, socialize and overall...hang the fuck out.

Lots of other genre games are still busted so take that into consideration also. But here's the main games:

MvC 2 - GONE , that's right; not there. Hopefully they just got rid of it to have it repaired someplace. It was pretty funny to walk in laughing with my "mini crew" to see if it'd be working to see it completely absent.

MvC 1 - Has a new stick on the right side. It's ALRIGHT, although quick Shoryuken motions and some other stuff seems to be lacking. It actually is very much so playable on both sides though. The new stick is green!

CvS 2 - Ohhh boy. At first both token slots were taped up. After pulling the tape and "Out of Order" sign off of the slots we popped some tokens in. We'd hear the tokens hit down in the right spot but the machine simply wouldn't register them. My friend then goes and gets a tech who reluctantly fixes it. Upon trying to play again we realize that the right side stick cannot duck whatsoever. A tech, after being asked to fix it responded with this:
"I'll have to open the WHOLE thing up to fix that." He then walked away, never to return.

SF3 - Untested.

Soul Calibur 1 - OMG, the whole control console thing is missing! That's right, the monitor with the back casing are the only pieces remaining. It serves a purpose however - a bench! Thanks to it's unique design, you can now sit down where the control console used to be!

Virtua Fighter 4 - Still on it's whack setting of "Get 3 wins and automatic Game Over for everyone no matter what."

DDR Max 2 - Seemed fine... although the Hold Steps still seem to have some trouble registering.

Daytona - Thought I'd throw this one in for the hell of it, all the machines except for 1 or 2 I believe have gear problems.

Overall, having a suprisingly useable MvC 1 made things fun. I'm not bad-mouthing Smiles with these little reports, I do say positive things also. Besides, I can't even hate Smiles at all because they've always been there and getting games other arcades wouldn't all through the years. Even when F.Y.E. was arguably the hottest spot, Smiles still came through with better working controls most of the time. The main reason I even bother with these things is so when people ask "How's Smiles lately?", I can just point them to this thread. :)

Oh boy, I didn't check Shoryuken for a few days and I see the CT Thread back on the main page! I'm thinking, oh my goodness, has something good finally happened in the CT scene? I click on the link waiting for the page to load... The first thing I see when it does is bad news. Nooooo!
Heh. Smiles hasn't had MvC 2's cabinet for a few weeks now I guess and before that it was there but always off or the monitor was off. It's been like 2 months now maybe that it's been out of commission for one reason or another. Damn. As for CvS 2, unplayable - well that is; unless you call playable not being able to super or block on one side with conditions being far worse most of the time.
I still go every Friday night, but it's mainly cause I just chill with friends and stuff there. I completely abandoned doing the "Weekly Smiles Reports" because it was just redundant every week, BTW.
As for other arcades, I keep hearing F.Y.E. is alright now but I can barely trust F.Y.E. anymore. I mean, everytime I'd give in and try it again the controls were always the worst I've ever experienced. Plus no more Para Para. :eek: The whole atmosphere and the "We don't give a sh*t about our players" vibe it's got going on is worse than most other arcades in my opinion - even Smiles.
I'm going to hit up What's Your Game? soon and scope that place out. If they finally fixed the fast timer in MvC 2 I'll visit it from time to time again. I'm tired of these kinda conversations but it's better than letting the thread just die. :lol:

Lol. Anyone from CT will tell you that I'm retired.
1. I don't go to tournies anymore. Ever.
2. I don't consider travelling to play games at all. If I do end up going somewhere (like I did last night) it's because I'm with a group of friends who decide to do that. Yesterday we were at Palisades Mall in Nyack and then my friends wanted to go to Chinatown Fair....so we did. I didn't play many games, I think I spent about $4 total, mostly on ST against Flash. I don't care anymore, I'm just out to have fun, not to be a serious tourney player.....thats what retirement is about. That doesn't mean I won't occasionally chill with players, or make trips just to hang or have fun with casual play.

Retirement doesn't mean I'll never touch SF ever again. It means that I am no longer an active part of the SF community. This means look for no tournies to be directed by me in CT, and don't expect to see me at any. If you catch me at a local arcade, it's probably because I'm either really bored and I felt like messing around, or I'm with friends who decided to stop there. When you play SF for 10 years, you're going to have a lot of friends who are SF heads.....

And yeah I'm kind of excited because I like messing around with 3rd strike, and CT has not had it for over a year now...

After how long? Few months or so? Yeah, sickening I know. It's now on a small cabinet (I swear it's one of the extra machines we had for C3) with these tall joysticks. Word of caution if you plan on checking it out:
I was there Friday night and at the beginning of the evening the controls, although awkward were playable. This soon changed when I returned to it later that night... ALREADY the left joystick cannot move right AT ALL. It's almost unbelievable. I was moving the joystick around trying to get it to work again and behold... I hear a loud cracking sound and can feel where the plastic is literally snapped. Some maniac probably punched the damn thing while I was away. :lol:

i was whats your game today in bridgeport and i spoke with the owner. when i used to go there all the time he always did what i asked him to do.i heard from some people that the mvc2 machine damage was high and the timer was fast. so i told him to put that shit on normal and he did. the controls are fine too. he is currently looking for a cvs 2 board and today he got 3rd strike. the 3rd strike cd was messed up so it didnt work. but he asured me he would get another 1 and i even heard him on the phone talking to his "guy" about doing it. he also said he would look for a st board. i told him he could use one of mine if he couldnt find one. he even said it wouldnt be out of the question getting another mvc 2 machine

Okay, I went to What's Your Game on Wednesday, and for the first time in 2 years the MvC2 settings are correct, and the controls work. So everyone get your asses there Friday night or else Neil might get mad and change it back.

I was there to scope out the place on Friday afternoon. I didn't go there for comp, I just wanted to see what the place has been like lately. While I didn't see any 3rd Strike or CvS 2 or anything like that, the controls worked for the most part 100% well on all the games they DID have.
Mortal Kombat 2 and Killer Instinct? That's pretty damn cool, heh. KI's AI destroyed me cause it's been a while. 2nd Impact is still there too with decent controls. Anyway, the only game that had ANYTHING messed up pretty much was one of the sides of MsF, it was still playable for the most part. MvC 2's screen is kinda dark but compared to the problems MvC 2 has at other CT arcades... it's nothing.
I have to give props to What's Your Game? for attempting to do a respectable job keeping everything maintained and working. Now let's get 3rd Strike and CvS 2!

I don't see why people are having a hard time understanding that I'm retired, or what retired means. I'll spell it out one last time and if you can't get it, too bad.

I am retired. This means that I am no longer an active member of the SF community. Which entails:
1. I will not be attending tournaments anymore
2. I will not be organizing/running tournaments anymore (unless help is needed at something like ECC, etc.)
3. I will no longer take video games seriously. They are for fun only, not competition or serious tournament play.

So, let's get a few things straight.
-I don't care if anybody says they're the best in CT, far from it for me to speak against them because it doens't concern me and I don't play seriously. Don't challenge me because I really don't give a crap about it, and I'll probably laugh at your good fortune that I'm retired and won't spend the five minutes humiliating you.
-If you do see me posting here on SRK, or playing a few games at What's Your Game, it's most likely because I'm bored and I'm trying to occupy my free time. THAT IS ALL. That is what games are for in the first place, to have FUN. Not to spend two years of my life concerned with keeping up with everybody and playing hardcore so that I can hold my own in the "next big tournament."
-I won't be busting my balls begging arcade owners in CT to have tournaments anymore. You can have your petty meaningless mall tournaments for tokens, I could care less, the days of REAL tourney play with CASH prizes are behind us. Certain people who are jealous fucks saw to that, and let me say congratulations for burying the CT tournament scene permanently. Are you happy?
-I also won't be wasting my time in flame wars and stupid arguments over the internet with anyone. I no longer go in #capcom since I know thats just asking for any of a dozen random asshole bitches to start shit with me, get me riled up, and then prove their bitchness IRL. Well, iplayCVS2, "everyone" doesn't go to Smiles anymore. It's an old issue so reading some of the old pages of this thread would be better than me going through an explanation. You CAN however, catch me, some friends, and the occasional Amakusa, AMinorThreat, Testament or any other CT players randomly on Friday nights. Me and the "Mini-Crew" are there every Friday night though. If you don't live too far away it's probably worth the trip even though we're pretty much the only comp you'll be able to find at Smiles nowadays. Hope to see you there sometime, c-ya.

without waterburry, ct wouldnt be ct, jay, richie, suraj, jose, juan and primetime are still ct's finest with the exception of suraj being retired and with no arcade in ct with decent controls. i dont think i should be considered the best in mvc2 becuz im not tourney material. i do the best in casual play but the fear factor gets to me in tourney play so, i dont think i shoud be ranked top in ct. scott is #1 in ST and i dont know whos better in cvs2 either phil mario or "mr. too good to live in ct" james.

James is the best in CvS2, I'm the best in ST (and Dru knows it), and I'd say either David Luu or Kevin is the best in MvC2, with me and Dru right behind them. Of course, 99% of CT chokes in tournaments that mean anything...

well as far as mvc2, i dont wanna be ranked. phil, if scott were online as much as u were on gettting strategies and tallking to everyone how to play then i would be the best in ST too, but i say scott is better cuz he has more years of experience, and amakusaWTF or wutever his name is doesnt represent ct remember? he talks bout how bad we are so i dont consider him ct.
