Deep details will follow in posts, though I would prefer people to ask questions about characters or stuff and I can answer that way much better.

Overall, the music rocks it, the presentation is much better. You can switch your team leader between matches, but not against the CPU, just against other humans.

Time overs are common place, but the time over system totally punishes keepaway, because it's not about who has the most life. If you lose more characters than the opponent, you're in deep trouble.

Oh, and OSWALD IS THE SHIT. He has a three punch attack (well, he slices with his playing card) like Iori, but you can make the first one overhead if you want.

The new chick Elizabeth has some logical combos thanks to her good command attacks. I didn't use her myself, but I saw her used. Once. So I don't know a whole lot, other than I don't think they make her cup size.

Although I haven't played XI; I've heard that they nerfed Malin a bit.

And I can't really remember...I think one vid I saw had someone using her, but if it did she got taken out fairly quickly; but she is at least getting used by someone.

A bit? No no, Malin did not get nerfed a bit. Malin is fucking worthless now. qcb + P yoyo move... now she hefts it for a bit, feels the weight of it. And, after a million years, she chucks it. Her air pp dive move? Now she spins around in the air for some time because she finds it funny, then after another million years, actually dives. Also, she cannot follow up her dp + p uppercut. And on top of that, for as long as I played, though I doubt they removed it, I couldn't do her air qcf x 2 + P.

Ralf is slightly better, if for the sole fact that the Ralf Kick can hit multiple times. That was the only change I noticed.

No, Iori's command grab is still top tier. Someone hit me with his new super three times in a row, and the setup for it is basically anything.

Duck King is a bitch to fight. Great combos in the corner, apparently easy to do, and his ball attack hits 4 times, and if blocked, is perfectly safe. Yeah, he's good. Annoying grab super too.

Combos definitely feel like 03, though the game has slowed down about 5% from 2003.

I've seen some videos of two dudes who are VERY good going at XI...it's really amazing to watch. It's DEFINATLY not slower than 03, btw.

Duck King owns I'm so happy to see him back. :happy:

damn they spent like 2 years making the game and you think they go for balance but I guess they spent 1year making athenas schoolgirl outfit and the other year on bettys tits.
I guess Malin will be the Dan of KOF now.

Iori is still gonna be good in 11 no matter what,even if ppl are like "well his slower this year":rolleyes:

First time I used Eiji, Ramon, and Kula.

Second Duck King, Janet, and Kasumi

Third Oswald, Vanessa, and Momoko.

Momoko is crazy, Vanessa is fucking awesome, Duck King still owns, Ramon still owns, Kula is TT. Cant wait to use Sie and Beth next time.

I actually couldn't tell you the name of the ChiTown place Aces, but they everyone there told me to go to the arcade on pier 30 because the game is 50 cents there and has all the good comp and shit.

That arcade is phat as hell anyway, so that's where I'll be from now on. Tell me when and maybe we could meet up :tup:

Oswald doesn't really have a fireball per se. As far as who's best fireball game? We have Kyo, Iori, and honestly, I'd put Kensou up there. Jenet has a ground fireball that's mostly used to pressure versus wakeup... oh, and King has some way to delay fireballs, I think it helps increase recovery, but I'm not sure.

THANKFULLY, the game isn't built around fireballs and they don't really matter. The game is all about up close ass kicking, which is why Oswald and Kula and Momoko and Vanessa are going to be gods.

Shit, I totally forgot Ash. You are right. Ash still wins fireball wars. Eiji's super fireball is pretty good though. Same idea as a Haoh-Ken from Ryo or Robert.

Saffy is right, fireballs are worthless. Having fought Vanessa and Duck King, they are total bitches. Did not see any Momokos, but I'll take your word for it. Her move list looks as confusing as Angel's.

Angel was fantastic and so is Momo.

She's mostly good because she seems to have tons of juggling options and they are pretty damn easy. In fact, my first combo with her was an 8 hit juggle :encore:

Still, Vanessa is my favorite again. I mean come on, she's like Balrog except she can dash and it's pretty much a teleport it's so fast. Ramon is harder to play than I remember but he's still awesome too.
