GG's to Gen Killer in A3. I was winning until he switched to Gen. Then I got beat down hard. Gen is so fast :(
GG's to everyone on Kaillera that doesn't cheat. Special shout outs to Kyokuji, Fatherbrain, Ryu1999, Zaxon2005?, DBostick, and everyone else that doesn't complain when they get the Gief/Hawk treatment. It's been a long time since I have played really any SF, but it's nice to play some people again. Also, I am Canadian has a nice simple O Ken. Good shit. Hope more players come in. I'm still a bit concerned about DGV though, as I have seen him fail input tests today when challenged. Why do his strong buttons stay down? I'm not accusing him of anything, could have a faulty controller (like me). I use the AE stick, and I constantly have 'phantom' button presses/joystick motions cause MAME doesnt like the analog stick.

To keep this on topic, as I know fb is about to get pissed....I can confirm DGV's ^gg'ness...and even when I thought he was using autofire, I went offline and replicated the crazy stuff he was doing. GG's to DGV again, from the other day, quoted for truth, etc etc, and all that.

He's a nice enough guy, and one of the few people I see visibly improving in Last Blade over time.
A lot of people play the game, but very few actually bother to committ to it.

We should get a game sometime.
I played Silver Fox a week or so ago believe it or not, and he was very very rusty, but still managed to put up a decent fight. His LB days are pretty much done though. All the good players left are the euro ones, and it's hard to get a good game with them because it means that one of us will always be lagging. One guy named "hello" in particular is very good.

The post was from Monday, not Tuesday morning DGV. I just sat in on a game and watched, that's all. I never played you. I'm not accusing anyone of anything, people on here say you are the truth...and I respect that. I will have to play you sometime to see what all the hype is about.

WSOP is not Mr. Karate. His 'gief is way too good for him to be Mr. Karate, lol. That and he wouldn't say GG to me in a million years.
As for Last Blade 2 Iseelba. If you want to learn advanced stuff, the best way is to play me or Bobo Da Homo. I'm willing to teach you tactics and whatnot, but I'm not going to spend time telling you moves.
You can go to GameFAQs for that. The biggest FAQ is the most complete one for movelists, but ignore what the guy says about tiers, he doesn't know what he's talking about. Amano for example is nowhere near being the worst character in the game. In fact, he's in the upper tier, and Shigen is actually better in speed than power.
The main problem with Last Blade 2 is the lack of mid-range competition. Everyone is either really sickeningly good, or they're complete beginners. The only exception I've seen is Hitokiri Battousai.
On topic: Good games to Nefaka [fr] in LB2. Was fairly inexperienced, but a very nice, polite guy. I kept catching him in corner traps for entire rounds and he never screamed cheap or anything.

GG's to Ax0r yesterday. Started playing again on Monday ran into a lot of scrubs, the one that sticks out the most is bhuddastalin, was about to quit then ax0r told me about an older version of mame that runs A3 smoothly, and he was right.
Also, i'm having trouble running some neo games on mame. This is the first time i've run into this problem. I used to be able to run the games fine, but now the image is all screwed up on a few neo games. Anyone know what's going on?

I just picked up Vega very recently in CE and have been making the transition to ST and have found he's really fun to play, so if anyone wants to get down on Kaillera for some ST I'll be glad to play (this includes you, FB).

Kyokuji, I played Jinrai at HF today. GGs Jinrai. I also thought at first that he was counter charactering me, but then he stated that he was just going through the cast, which is true. He started with Ken, then chun, gief, dhally, sagat, bison, vega, then we crashed at rog. So I'm not sure if he REALLY was countering you, or just playing his mains. Anyways, GGs to all, and look forward to more HF Jinrai.

Sorry, Kyokuji. I was waiting for a ride downtown and it arrived, so I had to leave right away or else I'd be late. Next time I'll give you more warning. GG, nasty Dhalsim there. And I wouldn't say my Honda is impressive at all, I just whore the stored command grab. No more skill than Vega, really.
And yeah, I was countering Kyokuji some of the time (heh, I picked Bison on his Chun-Li, talk about suicide) but not WSOP. In HF I pick my characters in a pattern unless I'm getting my ass kicked, in which case I stick to Honda, Blanka, shotos, Vega, or Gief.

I was scrubbing it up big time with Chun', lol. Kept losing to her with 'gief so I picked her and just started mass tick throwing like an idiot. I lucked my way to a few wins but that was about it.
I should've just stuck with 'Gief and 'Sim and toughed it out.
Gotta learn those match-ups anyway.
I wasn't complaining about the counter character thing. Most other people counter-character me too, and it's the smart thing to do.
It's just you're one of the few who can actually use those characters properly so it was more of a challenge than usual.

#1 Never lie
#2 Never cheat
#3 Never back down from "any" challenge, and to challenge "anyone".

More power to you IamCanadian. Most people seem to do the exact opposite of rule #1. As for #2, people would debate because lag abusing is a tactic now it seems, but some consider it insane cheating. #3 gets owned by #1.
Edit: Oh yeah, good games to Kyokuji. Makes it special since he doesn't really play 2k2 but did pretty decent even though we both were just being silly. Maybe sometime ill get to play ST with you Kyo so i can get a taste of that autofire Dhalsim, hahaha.

Umm, deadlyrave-neo has absolutely no clue how to play fighting games at all. No matter how many times you punish that rising tackle on his wakeup, he just never learns. So yeah, I'd refrain from seeking out deadlyrave-neo.

As long as you're on cable internet, and both your ping and the other person's ping is -70ms (the lower the better, though, of course)...and you both have the good sense not to be downloading or having IM or some other bandwidth hog running at the same time, then lag is not bad at all.

I think someone's listed this guy in the bad games thread before though. he said I should play him in Alpha before he left. Very nice Ryu mix-ups though.
I know Justin Wong played 3S on Xbox Live for a bit, and I think most of the competitive guys have at least tried kaillera.

His kof2k2 gameplay consisted of repeatedly doing full screen punishable moves to me, such as Ralf and Clark's tackle, not to mention wakeup Iori DMs. I don't think I got close to losing a match to him. It didn't seem like he knew what he was doing...

I met someone like that yesterday while playing ST, I think his name was billiejoex, an obvious auto-fire abuser which didn't bother me too much, but every single time I got him in a position to land a 360 with Hawk, the game would get huge lag spikes but would run smoothly whenever I was out of range.
Anyway, a nice (but brief) set goes to [32] on SSF2, I finally got my router working with Zbattle so I hope to hook up with some of you guys on there.

He was already proven to use autofire, unless he JUST recently stopped using it. Also, the only use of autofire ISN'T to just hold it down for rapid kicks/punches.

Well, probably because everyone uses shotos.
So someone playing 'Gief or Hawk or Fei Long 'seems' more out of the ordinary even if it's their only character.
Decent games to Frost in Last Blade 2.
A good mid-level player who could probably be better if he played more often.

great set to RWD in ST, your o.hawk is the best i've played against, thinking about the only o.hawk i have played against :)

I've only fought Kwaza in kof and yeah, he just jumps around like jumps have auto-block on them...that and he just tosses out supers at random when he's losing. So yeah, play dumb and expect opponent to just wait for you to do something stupid.
Edit: He also tells me to stop running away/turtle.

Stevie White, It's all good meign. Keep practicing! My game is shit nowadays, cause I am concentrating most of my thoughts on poker. I been losing to some random ass shit lately, plus my internet connection has been slow as hell. And to anyone who plays me in a3....THIS IS MY WORST GAME! I SUCK AT IT! STOP HYPING ME UP ABOUT THIS GAME! Also, peeps that use auto in a3 can lick deez. That shit is really hard to deal with online. It's funny when you play someone like 30 matches one day, and they bitch all day, then the next time you play them....all of the sudden low shorts are coming out lightning fast, every combo is mashed out, and you get hit by random mashing....Too Good.
JSJ--How do I find you on Zbattle? I tried to d/l that shit like last week, but have a hella hard time finding you peeps on there to play....although ssf2.....on snes.......lol you CHEATERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great games with WSOP, NoAffinity, and Boleslaw.
Accidentally slept till Midnight after dinner tonight, they helped salvage the night.
This is an I don't know if it's a GG or not post. I played someone named ChargeD this morning, and either he had one of the best online Honda's I have ever seen, or MAD MAD MAD Autofire with HHS. I mean this fool was able to get in between balrog jab's with a FIERCE HHS every single time. I find that hard to believe on Kaillera, and to be able to do it EVERY TIME without fail. Out of randomness too. Really makes me believe this person was holding down buttons....It also turns me off of playing any SF online anymore. I mean come on people, if you use autofire, don't play me. Im just going to bitch you out all day, and it's not going to be fun.

come on now no need to accuse me of something you're not sure of. besides I wasn't using fierce only I was mashing strong + fierce which is different. honda is pretty cheap online. I'm pretty sure there's another player I played online that used the same trick.
