WHY do they make iori so broken, and kyo so...not? kyo has more style than anyone in the series, but hes mid tier at best. ive never seen a good kyo. even. even in cvs2. why? hes rekka chains are about 10 times harder to pull off. lets hope that in furture KoF games, iori gets nerfed and kyo gets good...

so far in XI kyo seems to be god tier.

Kyo is always mid top. ALWAYS.

Iori is almost always top. This is mostly because his supers have always chained really well and his 3 punch attack is strong and easy. Iori is also better in the air than Kyo is.

It sucks though, I'd much rather fight Kyo. After all these years my eyes are tired of Iori and for some reason not Kyo. I've seen fucking amazing Kyos but only in arcades.

But there's always LGs Kyo, which proves you're a liar =P

Kinda sucks he's never been exceptionally good, he's always been my favorite. :tdown:

If he really is top is XI tho, kickass. :tup:

I for sure wouldn't say he's top (Athena probably is right now), but he's better for sure.

As long as he doesn't suck I'll play him. I don't mind Athena being top either, I'd give her a shot again. :tup:

He's freaking crazy good in XI whereas Iori is just...the same....somewhat.

Well, Kyo got his fireball back, so yay. I hate Iori in XI just from my experiences so far. I've been playing as Kyo recently, he's fun. His 2003 LDM is too good.

I'll post about the ones I know about.......

'98 Kyo > Iori, Autogaurd on damn near EVERYTHING for the win.
'99 Kyo = Iori, Kyo lost some Autogaurd but not much and he has mad prioiorty
'00 Kyo = Iori, Kyo loses MORE gaurd but still has some of it and still has prioiorty and combos options out the ass.
'01 Kyo < Iori, Kyo got NERFED.......badly - No AG or Prioiorty.
'02 Kyo < Iori, Kyo still kinda weak but better then '01
'03 Kyo < Iori, He's a little better then '02 but not much and lost a few combos :sad:

XI so far it's looking like Kyo > Iori for the first time since '98 plus combos out the ass :clap:

Does anyone really needs to explain why kyo sux or is no where near like his kof counterparts? Or how about the fact the entire top tier chars are capcom characters, nuff said. lol :rolleyes:

Iori...broken? Hell no. Although I do agree that his rekka chain should be just a little harder to pull off, sort of like Kyo's is. But to me, Iori is the shit. Not as righteously awesome as Seth IMO, but still a damn good character. And Kyo has an ishload of combos in XI? Cool, I'll really have to check that game out. But Iori is far from broken.

Yes, Seth is considered bottom tier...I'm not too sure why though. Most people just don't like using him because they say he is weird, perhaps he is bottom tier due to reasons not related to his fighting style. His fighting style contains quite alot of mixups and he has decent priority I think. His combos also do some good damage, although he doesn't have any 100% combos (that I know of) unlike many others do. He doesn't really need maxmode unless you want to use some of his limited cancel mixups that he can do.

And yes, as much as I love Kyo, Iori seems to own him most of the time. Iori's normals are better, and attacks/combos are easier than Kyo's. However, I have seen some reallyl good Kyos beasting in arcade videos, but most of the time you don't even see a Kyo user. I think I watched a Singapore tourney (60+ matches), where almost every single match had atleast one or both players using Iori...There was probably only one Kyo user.
