1. Too early to tell IMO, but since he's the Vegeta of the series in all likelihood he will eventually. His fight with *two* Akatsuki should reveal more than a few things about his power/whether or not he's up there with Itachi in terms of power level

2. Tried to and failed (see: Cartoon Network run the past month or so), but since for some reason he gained a mangekyou powerup in the manga, it should be interested. Kakashi's MS strains him a lot more though.

3. Probably not. Itachi showed Naruto that the "LOL DONT LOOK AT HIS EYES" tactics don't work. Ring rape and the Amaterasu are among Itachi's tools after all.

Gai used the 6th gate, while Rock Lee used 5 gates. Gai used 1 gate, Rock used 5 (1st through 5th).

Basically:

- Akatsuki leader has a jutsu called Shouten no Jutsu which allows him to stick the "essence" of anyone onto the body of anyone else.

- Itachi and Kisame gave up 30% of their total chakra to create the image on two random Jounin (one of which was from the Sand village which is why Chiyo sent the letter back).

- Itachi and Kisame are now free to concentrate on the extraction ceremony while the new clones, armed with all their skills and abilities (but only 30% of their total chakra limiting their ability) go out and fight.

One Mango is probably a good deal of the 30 percent for Itachi, so that is probably why he didn't use it. At least that would be a logical reason, lord knows logic is out the window in Nalto whenever someone busts out the pinwheel eyes.

Kisame is another story, he has mad chakra, so he was able to summon a lake right off the bat, throw sharks and do all sorts of stuff like a crazy man.

I'd imagine that if that was only 30 percent of there "Potential" Kisame could punch the world in half with his fist alone, and Itachi could just put the entire world in genjutsu like martian manhunter.

But since this is Nalto, there is a good chance of that happening because Itachi is pwnzors 3000. +

So here's something I never really got about Kabuto: After the chuunin exams when Sasuke is in the hospital, and Oro sends Kabuto to go kidnap him, Oro says something along the lines of "You could kill him and spoil my plans etc". Kabuto looks genuinely frightened as if he has been found out and sort of contemplates doing in Sasuke before Kakashi shows up.

Was that ever explained or expanded on? Feels like an odd loose end when we have Kabuto the Oro Dickrider now.

Well, the translation of the manga that I was reading had Kabuto saying, "Now that Orochimaru is integrated into this body..." and said, "The Serpent escapes death and lives on!"

I take it to mean that Orochimaru was weakened and pretty much disabled by Sasuke, but Kabuto took his essence/soul/whatever. But I guess my statement/prediction was inaccurate, since he's not the new container for Orochimaru, he just has Oro in him, but he's apparently still in control.

Yeah, he's throwing lightning by itself. Sasuke's really pushed the Chidori in terms of what it's capable of. Which is cool because it technically means he has no need for conventional kunai anymore.

well, kakashi hasn't really done that well against itachi but he seems to be getting better every time he faces him lol but yeah, since itachi > oro, kakashi might be able to hang with oro since imo kakashi is just a little weaker than itachi.. the only advantage itachi has is the brokeness of a uchiha, kakashi doesn't have that... sharingan takes a toll on his body and his stamina isn't all that great to begin with anyway(how many times has special k been in bed rest anyway? lol)

kakashi is still a great ninja though, him and gai are probably the strongest jounin out there.. he'd be a beast if he had broken uchiha bloodline, he also seems a bit lazy, like if he actually trained more he'd be even more of a beast.

overall i think kakashi is a pretty balanced shinobi, he has great speed, strength, jutsu, tactics, etc but kinda lacks in the stamina department.

what i wanna see is kakashi vs. kabuto, kakashi in his current state would own that mofo.

I agree a lot with what's said in this post. The only thing that I somewhat disagree with is using filler to get in depth in terms of history on the other hidden villages. IMO, Konoha's all you need for this.

There's so much potential back-story within Konoha that the series should at least try to venture deeper into it's past. It's so easy for me to look at previous Hokages and think, "That shit is some fuckin' OVA (or filler in this case) material right there; a whole fuckin' forest jutsu, crazy ass tsunami's, and of course the fourth who was supposed to be the baddest ass dude no one's ever seen."

Then there's the clans of Konoha; specifically the Uchihas and Hyugas (with a shout out to Shiki's clan). I won't even bother elaborating on that shit 'cause I already know that you know that shit would rock.

Shunshin no Jutsu is basically Naruto's version of Bleach's "Shunpo", or "Flash Step"--a high-speed movement Ninjutsu. It's a Genin-level Ninjutsu, so it's quite common, but only the more powerful Shinobi have been seen using it as Sasuke is in the midst of combat right now. You usually see Ninja disappearing from the battlefield with it, like Kabuto did earlier in the chapter.

Uchiha Shisui, one of the most talented of the Uchiha, and the one Itachi killed to acquire Mangekyou Sharingan, was apparently known for his mastery of that technique.

Here's the technique's entry in the first Databook, translated by ShounenSuki:

Shunshin no Jutsu (瞬身の術, "Body Flicker Technique")
Ninjutsu, supplementary, D-rank

Nah, Yondaime was also an avid user of the Shunshin, which is probably what they were talking about. If you're referring to the scene when he bailed Kakashi out, it went as follows:

- Kakashi goes for Chidori, Rock nin is about to own Kakashi with a counter-attack.
- Yondaime uses Shunshin to grab Kakashi and move him out of the way....at the same time marking the rock nin on the bottom of his shoe
- Both appear back at the spot where the others are. Rock nin is talking about how they have orders to "run on sight" of Yondaime...who then appears right behind him thanks to the Hiraishin.
- Shanking with kunai ensues.

And Hiraishin, roughly translated, is something like "Flying Thunder God Technique".

They're both applications of Space Time Ninjutsu, I guess the best way to sum it up would be to say that Yondaime's use of it through Hiraishin is on a larger scale.

He can place the seals anywhere through touch, there is no apparent limit to the number of seals he can place, the summoning appears to be instant as opposed to the summoning scroll method... There's also the fact that Yondaime is summoning himself to these jutsu-shiki, whereas the summoning with those scrolls is likely triggered through their release.

But it goes to show you that the principles of Hiraishin are hardly lost. Makes it all the more plausible for Naruto to acquire it later on.

If he learns Hiraishin (or a similar variation of it, given that Naruto likes to make shit up) then yeah, he would be faster than Sasuke in a way. Sasuke's actual movement speed would be greater for the most part, but Naruto's advantage would lie in being able to appear RIGHT where his opponent is, no reaction time or movement time whatsoever. Only drawback is that he has to mark what he's teleporting to, however, this could easily be done as well.

Although I doubt Kishi will ever do this, my idea would be for Naruto to use KBs and have them all throw out "marked" kunai or shuriken as the fight begins...making it so that he can teleport to nearly any spot on the battleground. And if he tags the opponent themselves...they're basically fucked. They're pretty much guaranteed to catch a Fuuton Rasengan to the back at that point.

EDIT: Me personally, I'd like to see Naruto learn Hiraishin but also do a speed enhancement using wind chakra. It seems like the sort of thing wind could do, you know?

Naruto having Hiraishin would open him up A LOT as a fighter. And like I said, it doesn't actually translate into movement speed because you can only teleport to what you have marked. If Naruto suddenly was busting out Shunshins left and right a la Sasuke then I'd agree.

Imagine if he marks a KB before it does the headlong rush (since we've seen now that Naruto is capable of both calculating a battle strategy AND using KBs as predictors of his opponent's abilities/movements). While the KB is fighting, Naruto appears out of nowhere right in front of the guy, probably giving him a sizable opening to do whatever.

As for the Rasengan, I assume from the FRS training that he can do your standard Rasengan by himself at this point (he was making shape while the others put wind chakra into it). He might be able to manage the Fuuton Rasengan by himself (lower level of wind chakra, it seems to me) but for the FRS it's doubtful. It seems like too powerful a jutsu for him to not have to use KBs to make it happen (seeing as Yondy and Special K by themselves were incapable of doing it). I'd love it if he could pull off the Fuuton Rasengan without a clone, but I'm okay with the FRS requiring it....however, he DOES need to throw the damn thing before it's over.

Naruto having Hiraishin would open him up A LOT as a fighter. And like I said, it doesn't actually translate into movement speed because you can only teleport to what you have marked. If Naruto suddenly was busting out Shunshins left and right a la Sasuke then I'd agree.

Imagine if he marks a KB before it does the headlong rush (since we've seen now that Naruto is capable of both calculating a battle strategy AND using KBs as predictors of his opponent's abilities/movements). While the KB is fighting, Naruto appears out of nowhere right in front of the guy, probably giving him a sizable opening to do whatever.

As for the Rasengan, I assume from the FRS training that he can do your standard Rasengan by himself at this point (he was making shape while the others put wind chakra into it). He might be able to manage the Fuuton Rasengan by himself (lower level of wind chakra, it seems to me) but for the FRS it's doubtful. It seems like too powerful a jutsu for him to not have to use KBs to make it happen (seeing as Yondy and Special K by themselves were incapable of doing it). I'd love it if he could pull off the Fuuton Rasengan without a clone, but I'm okay with the FRS requiring it....however, he DOES need to throw the damn thing before it's over.
well damn. I can't shoot holes in any part of this post. :tup: I know I've seen him pull one-handed rasengans before, usually in one or more tails mode. I'm under the beilief that he's thinking about it too hard, but when he's doing the hulk smash thing he's only thinking of the fight, leaving his brain to do what it already knows how to do. Welp, there ya go. Naruto should be broken as fuck.

Real Naruto never leaves Konoha. He sends at least two clones out on missions. One clone always drops back and stays hidden. The first clone joins Kakashi/Sakura/Yamato/whoever as a regular part of the team. As soon as a battle starts, Clone 1 just starts making more clones. Each clone is able to unleash the fury of Kyuubi Hell upon the opponent.

Even if the enemy somehow manages to get the better of Naruto...it was only Clone 1. Clone 2, still lurking in the shadows, can send more clone reinforcements. Thanks to the properties of Kage Bunshin, Clone 2 already knows everything about the battle despite not being in it. Clone 2 could also just send it random clones while the enemy is fighting Clone 1, to throw the enemy off-guard.

Even if someone managed to take out Clone 1 and 2...Naruto's still kicking it in Konoha, perfectly healthy. It's like...you could never actually beat him. But then, as the saying goes, "putting way too much thought into a kids show".

It was somewhat of a letdown that Sasuke got hit so easily while in his CSLv2 state. I mean he got his wing blown off. I wonder what new stuff he gained during his transformation...

Anyways, Deidara was too confident and never thought of all possibilities while Sasuke used all he got to take Deidara down. Tobi is stil hilarious. He's like some sort of kid trapped in a grown man's body of some sort. I mean he's part of the Akatsuki, a feared organization but he acts like some kid - that's hilarious. Just imagine what he can do though when he's serious.

As for Tobi, all we have seen so far is him crying that Deidara died (previous chapter), sempai!, and used Deidara's clay to create landmines. There has to be more to him other than his childish antics and sarcasatic comments.

Deidara was certainly confident, but he had good reason to be. He didn't really make any stupid mistakes, took away Sasuke's maneuverability with the landmines and stuck with long range aerial combat--didn't even give Sasuke a chance to take flight(this is the first confirmation that Sasuke can actually use those handwings to fly).

It's not as if Deidara was careless in this chapter. Sasuke just did a fine job of fuckin' up Deidara's game.

Oh well, go Sharigan, at this rate the last fight of the manga is going to be Kakashi vs Sasuke vs Itachi vs Obito.

Everyone else will be frozen because of the sheer chakra their eyes are emitting.

Sasuke reached Deidara because he used his sword as a platform, and the additional momentum on his jump due to his one wing.

And even with that, Sasuke just barely reached him with his Chidori Sword. Take into account that Sasuke was grounded when he used it the first time, and wasn't using his Cursed Seal. Suggests that Deidara probably took into account the distance Sasuke would cover if he were to jump while using that technique, and that he probably didn't stay just outside of the range he guaged earlier in the chapter, noodleman.

And we haven't seen Deidara use his explosives in this manner before. It's not like he's triggering them whenever Sasuke's in their general area, like he's been doing up until now. They're all self-arming, and it's probably because of this dfference that Tobi had to plant the explosives with his Doton.

The fact that Sasuke was able to reach Deidara isn't that big of a deal. Deidara still would've had a way out afterwards, but Sasuke thought ahead and used those shuriken to pin him down and let himself get fucked up by his own explosives.

[EDIT] - And concerning Team Konoha: We don't know if Hebi and Team Konoha split up at the same time. Sasuke could have sent the others on their way a while before Konoha set up shop in the specific area they're searching... Meaning, their teams may not be quite as close as you think. Sasuke's in the middle of the forest, Sakura picked up on Karin's trail and was lead a fair ways into a neighboring town--Sasuke's probably not within the radius of the area Team Konoha is currently combing. Even if there are some people close enough to pick up on the explosions and/or catch sight of Deidara in the air, they may not be close enough to immediately watch the battle... And even if they are, or have already gotten there, all they can do is watch, then report to the rest of the team. Those were their orders.

I don't really have a probablem with Akatsuki members being off. I think its inevitable that every las tone of those fools are going to get killed. But I just didn't care for the way it was done. Saskue jumps on his sword and uses wings to hit Dediara? Lame. We all know Saskue is broke as MvC2. I thought previous chapters with Sasuke ownage was done much better than this one. I'd much rather have seen what other team members were up to.
