Ya, news definately doesn't travel fast.. otherwise Kabuto would have heard that Sasori was killed if he's a spy for Akatsuki.

Contact doesn't seem to be a problem for them, the leader knows everything and they have that "Star Wars" style of communication. By that I mean you can see the person without them being there (like the part when they're all talking in the cave, but I think only the leader is there, can't tell though)

Does Naruto not realize that Shadow Replication never works...? He literally uses it to start EVERY fight of the series and the ONLY time it works is the first time he uses it in the FIRST EPISODE. Aka for 164 episodes he's starting with the same move that never works.

Yeah but look at it this way: maybe he's throwing that technique out there first in order to gauge his opponent. That's what I'd like to think but I might be wrong. He sure does know how to get his ass kicked in a fight for a good while.

kyuubi's power was great enough to almost destroy konoha. the fourth hokage had to give his life to seal the fox. his power is the reason naruto recovers from any injury quickly. his chakra IS limitless iirc. as the nine tails, he had the greatest amount of chakra (greater than the other tailed beasts). pre timeskip naruto is stronger than pretty much any non jounin in the village and on par with some of the jounin in the village. i don't know why he's treated the way he is, but the guy has been taking on s class and a class missions from almost the start. he's defeated gaara AND neji. he went toe to toe with sasuke, etc. he has defeated ppl at chuunin and jounin level over and over.

if i was naruto i'd be like fuck it, if i'm not named jounin in the next 5 min i'm done with konoha. and if he isn't in the bingo book by now, then...

(still upset at kishimoto because naruto didnt get chuunin status BEFORE the timeskip when he defeated the oh so great neji, he defeated gaara, etc. that is bullshit to me, *sigh*)

He's probably my least favorite character in the series. As a character he makes sense, but when fighting he makes absolutely no sense at all...

Kakashi has pretty much dropped out of the series. He was my favorite character early on but he doesnt get to do anything anymore.

shikamaru is a g. actually i can totally relate to shika as far as (definitely not bragging) but being really smart/a genius but not motivated. feeling like (at least for me) certain things are like prison, holding you back, etc. when you just want to be free...(for me its school and being an art major. i should have majored in sociology because i skip a lot of my art classes and take classes like social strat for fun. art has too many boundaries and glass ceilings)
i dunno, i like the character cuz i can relate more.

him + temari = not only a cool couple, but those two have to be the smartest in the series outside of some of the older jounin or sannin. it'll be interesting as to how they pan out in the naruto series.

jiraiya, yeah, i'm waiting for him to have a serious fight with someone, kinda like the 3rd vs. orochimaru. i know its coming...i hope at least. with the manga he kinda handed naruto back to kakashi, so i'm assuming that he's gonna disappear for a lil bit. but i hope to see more of his jutsu and his hand to hand combat skills. i like the way he calls out his moves, and his laugh is funny.

kakashi dropped out of the series for awhile. he was back for like 5 seconds but then they replaced him with yamato. =/ not feeling that at all, but i hope its so that yamato dies or something lol. you know, kill a main character, just not one like kakashi.

hinata...can't wait to see her "awaken." i also want to see her develop more and also her and naruto to develop more together. should be interesting.

shizune (sp?) i want to see her fight more too. that poison gas attack and her needles, etc. look pretty hot. her and sakura vs. anyone would be hot.

Generally new relationships have a way of ruining tv shows. That's why.

Also, sakure will never get sasuke, ever. The only way that would happen is if sasuke completely changes from who he's been in the series, which would suck.

Shikamaru and Temari is very, very possible. As side characters their relationship would work, added with Shikamarus conversations with his dad about Women and interest in Temari as a character who hasn't been fully explored yet. Also, they fought in the Chuunin exams.

Naruto... probably wont ever have a relationship. He still doesnt understand the urge to be with women even though he did peep into a womens shower once.

Jiraiya/Tsunade? Heh, probly not.

Shikamaru is almost destined to end up in a relationship in the series, Temari seems to make sense.

i don't think the others besides naruto and hinata and shika and temari have a great chance of happening, but i DO think hinata and naruto have a chance because of the way she is towards him. i think the way that he is towards her is a set up to make the part where she likes him and its uncertain if he has feelings towards her (in the same way) longer.

longer and drawn out makes for more stuff that could happen than if you make it official right then and there. same with shika and temari. i think both those relationships will happen, just not right away, on purpose.

bet it! i got 10 paypal dollars that says sometime in the future, naruto will get with hinata. could be a relationship, they kiss, something more than just her looking at him and fainting and him saying she's a nice girl.

Your right, but wrong on the reason that the characters won't get together. The characters won't couple because fans of certain couplings will be upset if they don't get there way. For example, if NarutoxSakura becomes a reality then NarutoxHinata fans will become upset and might stop reading the manga all together. This is why alot of manga has established couples from the beginning.

My predictions are that Naruto & Yamato vs. Oro. While Sakura & Sai take on Kabuto. Personally I believe that Sakura will be outmatched by far by a technical ability of Kabuto. Sai is a wild card. I suspect that is the early going Naruto will have a good showing against Oro. However Oro will gradually take over the fight will him and Yamato. I wouldn't be surprised if Yamato died in this one trying to keep Naruto's head in the game (however I don't think any of them will die right now since his background is somehow important to the story at this moment).

Yep, Orochimaru's a jutsu specialist, so he was severely handicapped with the loss of his arms.

Sarutobi's Seal also caused Orochimaru a great deal of sufferring. He was likely physically and mentally fatigued, severely weakening what little Taijutsu and Ninjutsu he could use, in addition to losing the use of the most of his jutsu library.

All this, and he still nearly killed both Tsunade and Jiraiya during the Kuchiyose battle.

Yes Sasuke is/was the most popular character up to chapter 145 when the last popularity contest was held. I have no idea who it is right now.

Also if you remember when Sasuke ran away Naruto said “I’ll bring him back. It’s the promise of a lifetime” and his “way of the ninja” is to never go back on his word. Also Lee showing up and telling him "you made a promise with the nice guy pose" probably made him even more convinced than he already was that no matter what he has to bring Sasuke back.

My 2 cents on a possible Oro Vs. Jiraya fight...............

based on the only time I've seen them fight, I'd have to give it to Oro. Yeah, Jiraya was drugged out and couldn't use his Chakra properly at the time, but Oro couldn't use his arms at all. Did he back off? Nope. still got in that ass teeth first...............Litterally. most of the fight with Tsunade was mainly Kabuto Vs. Tsunade, but Oro got a little bit in. Kinda weird though. He was able to take those hits and still talk shit at the end. Oro's no bitch. Believe it. Now, with everyone at full power, it could be different. with the present fight coming, Oro will be at close if not full power, plus the Kabuto assist that just about make him broken as fuck. Sakura, Naruto, and Sai are going to be struggling to say the least. Most likely, Naruto will have to rely on "that" jutsu FTW. Of course, we don't know all that much about Yamato yet. it seems that he's a trap specialist from the few jutsus he's used, but there could be more to him than we've seen. For his sake, I hope so. He's gonna need it in the upcoming fight with Oro and Kabuto.

We had this arguement in the last thread, a very long arguement.

Why would Oro be physically scared of Itachi ? He is a sennin.

Jiraya, Oro, and Tsunade ( in that order of strongest to not so strongest) are better then everyone.

It all comes down to Kishimoto not being able to script properly and the Uchiha's bending reality in the story everytime they are involved.

See that the thing I have wondered about for some time. Did Naruto really lose or did he pull back at the end? You know one of those "I don't want to hurt my friend" moments? It's entirely possible that Naruto had a weak moment in that last Rasengan against Sasuke and pulled it.

Then again I don't think Naruto as fully tapped into the power of the Kyubi yet either.

You seem to forget we actually saw Sasuke pull back at the end, because he didn't want to kill his best friend. I think they would have did the same thing for Naruto if that was the case.

Naruto will be able to shit Rasengans.

It just seems to me like Rasengan is developing too much like the Kamehameha did in DBZ. First it was really hard for Goku to do it, then eventually he gets to the point late late in the series where he's doing it 1 handed and shooting two at once and I think at one point in the series he shot it out of his feet too.

But yeah, the parallel between the two series was already well known beforehand, I just never thought about Rasengan like that before. Once Naruto and Sasuke get to the point where they're the strongest people in the group and only when random enemies show up are they actually put to the test (just like DBZ) then I'm going to stop following the series. As long as they have something to build up to and have the potential for getting their asses kicked by other normal people I find the series interesting.

Well the thing is, Goku was always portrayed as a genius destined to save the world. Naruto is the underdog, the WORST ninja of the ninja school.

Also, if you want to get really nerdy, kamehameha isn't as complicated of an attack. In DBZ virtually everyone can do it, in Naruto the only people previously able to do Rasengan were the 4th (Took him 2-3 years to learn it) and Jiraiya, and Naruto learns it in like a month. He masters the last section in a WEEK to prove old lady tsunade he'll be hokage one day.

Still quite a feat.

As for more moves for naruto... he needs to learn to use the ones he has. He's only really used Gamabuta once, to fight Gaaras sand demon thing. He has plenty of non-rasengan/shadow replicant moves that he simply doesnt use because he's a moron. Naruto's thought process:

i had a long ass post explaining my views on jiraiya, itachi and naruto in relation to orochimaru but my comp over heated and shut off...i really don't feel like typing it again, but here goes:

i think that orochimaru is afraid of itachi, not because itachi is stronger, but because its a bad match up for him. oro mostly uses jutsu and itachi's sharingan is the most advanced in the manga. that doesn't mean that itachi is stronger than jiraiya or anyone else, that just means that oro doesn't want to take on itachi for that reason.

i think that itachi and kisame wouldn't have won against jiraiya and naruto. given what we've seen (what little) of jiraiya's jutsu and his hand to hand combat skills (don't believe we've seen any of that) we really have no evidence, but thats just my personal opinion. i think if naruto was able to tap into his kyuubi mode, itachi wouldn't be able to copy anything, but he would *maybe* be able to see his movements, but maybe not be able to do anything about them. i just don't think they'd win, but its a personal opinion.

i also don't think they retreated because they were afraid of jiraiya OR naruto. the akatsuki have a goal, and it seems like thats all they are trying to accomplish. they dont give a fuck about a war, or about a fight unless its to get the kyuubi. at that time it didn't make sense to go all out and start a war for the kyuubi. they can wait til later to get it easier if the opportunity rises. in the post i typed out earlier, i had a waaay better explanation but i kinda forgot it. =/ *sigh*

lastly, i think orochimaru DID give a fuck. someone earlier said he took out the hokage and didn't give a fuck about konoha while itachi didn't want to start a war with jiraiya because that would have created a war with konoha. i think this is wrong. oro killed the kazekage and impersonated him so that the sand could side with the sound so they could use gaara and the sand to take down konoha while oro killed the hokage. that is intense planning. he didn't just walk in and kill the hokage. he waited for an opportunity, etc. etc.

i don't think itachi is more powerful than oro, bottom line, i think that its just a bad matchup. kinda hard to re explain my position but yeah.

i think jiraiya is the strongest sanin because well...IMHO:

Is "Naruto Narutimett Hero 3" and "Naruto Gekitou Ninja Taisen 3" two completely different game?

Yes very different. Gekitou Ninja Taisen is on the 4th installment. They say the system is deeper in GNT but you can play NH for mindless fun.

This makes me sad. Mitsuko Horie was a close friend of one of my relatives. Apparently, she died of exhaustion, but there is no physical giveaway of exhaustion, so the autopsy didn't reveal anything. So, it has been called "cardiac arrest".

That makes me angry, honestly. That's why I don't believe in autopsy. When I pass away, I'm going to leave a stipulation in my will that ensures my body won't be cut open, just buried without observ
