Well, yeah, they were sealed in when they were young (just born, I think), but this Jinchuuriki's youth might have been 10 years before Naruto's.

I stopped watching the fillers recently after "laughing Shino". I thought we were getting to the end of them since they had been doing random non story arc episodes but then i saw that they were going to start yet another filler story I decided I'd hold off and wait until they start part 2. That way I at least have something to look forward to after the filler is over. And this from someone who thought the filler so far had not been too bad. Just not good either.

I think I'll catch up on Bleach since I stopped at Episode 24 where the near naked girl with the Tsunade like figure/strength was about to fire Ichigo and Co out of a fucking Canon.

But naruto has to realize that in the Naruto world, its more a paper/rock/scissor matchup between people. People hinata can beat Naruto can't touch, and vice versa.

I bet there are genin that can completely shut down some jounin and win for free, but lose to most other genins. It just depends on what you spend your time focusing on. Naruto and Neji, for example. Neji owns most people for free by sealing their chakra, but it wont work on Naruto and his fox chakra. But people that Naruto would struggle beating, Neji could own for free with just one move.

man as bad as things have been i'm sure there are gonna be some MAJOR fights coming up in the coming manga. even more so because tsunade wants to "attack" akatsuki members. each new member that shows up looks crazier then the last(well, zetsu is in a class all to his own). i believe we got a couple of grugde matches to settle as well(gai/kisame,tobi/kakashi).

also tsunade must have some kind of special anbu members or something to send to fight the akatsuki because regular anbu members get killed very easily it seems. i also think that by the time sasuke gets to confront itachi again, itachi will already be blind from some other battle or damn close to it. i mean with some many different characters the possiblities are crazy.

OK, I don't know if this is true or not, but...

As of June 27 2006 Japan newspaper Yomiuri (http://www.yomiuri.co.jp/) stated that the recent huge dropp in ratings of the Naruto anime have forced creators to suspend all curent work on the Naruto anime. Curently the newspaper wrote that as much as 221 episods are finished. The last six episodes will be the Kakashi Gaiden story ark and it will be the last touch to the naruto anime saga. Acording to the newpaper the statment from director Hayato Date is due to the fact the Naruto suffered dropps because of the huge filler segment. Much like the anime adaption of Rurouni Kenshin wich also went through a filler fase and in the end was dropped due to viewers abandoning the show. The manga will however still continue and it is not known if in the future the anime will get a second run.

Well, it would serve them right! I haven't watched Naruto in over a year now, don't plan on watching it anytime soon, don't remember how the characters sound, and won't care about it until the Kakashi Gaiden starts. The filler is a serious blemish to the series. It's unfortunate because some people won't be able to distinguish filler from the manga story line.

Instead of showing fillers, they should have just restarted the series from episode one.

No it hasn't, theres always been a few episodes that have bad animation, and others that have good animation. The Sannin fight(after they summoned all their shit) Drunken Rock Lee, the episodes where Naruto Fights Sasuke, the eps where Chouji and Neji kill their respective sound guys. Those eps had great animation.

But for all the fillers Im pretty sure none of the good animation studios have worked on them.

Agreed. The drunken Lee Vs Raiga fight had potential but it looked just average at best. After the Gaara fight and after the Kimimaru fight I expect some good stuff out of a Rock Lee Fight but they went and fucked it up here. The other fights were so so. Hinata's fight was nice just to see her kicking ass (finally) but the animation was not that great. I think the blew their wad on the water fall scene and that was it. Even when Naruto summoned Gambunta to fight that water monster. Usually when I see Gambunta I in a fight I can count on some really good stuff but not this last time :annoy:

While the Hyuuga are known to have Konoha's finest bloodline, Sasuke and Itachi are probably going to take that away from them later on in the series too--and it only makes sense, Sasuke and his brother play a much bigger part in the story than the Hyuuga.

I always assumed that the Byakugan would see right through any genjutsu tricks the Sharingan threw at it. Both would have a hard time landing any hits at all. The only plus side for Neji is that if he did somehow manage to land a hit, it would seal of a bit of chakra (assuming he hit a pressure point), and give him a slight edge that would snowball as the fight went on. When Sasuke lands a hit, its just a normal hit.

Then again, can his chakra shields block a flowing chidori? The world may never know.

edit: also when did kishi confirm that uchiha was the best? as far as i know both the head of the hyuuga clan and itachi just stating there opinions on the matter. only thing is we have more canon provided on what uchiha's can do since they seem to be so central to the storyline. All we have to date is mere speculation, and we could go back and forth on what "could" happen if/when they would fight. All i would like is kishi to just do it already.

Keep in mind, the sharingan is great and all, but it cannot copy bloodline limits. So all we have seen is sharingan owning up randomn ninja's who aren't capable of showcasing some genetic superiority. This is why i would like kishi to just let him fight a Hyuuga, as they ar e the onlyh bloodline left alive as far as i know. Take kimmura for instant. He was what ORochimaru originally wanted. Naw, Gaara doesn't die in the Manga. He ends up getting his Jinchuiriki taken away by the Akatsuki, and left f or dead, but some grandmother of the village sacrifices her life to save both Gaara and Sakura. He hasn't really been seen since, so we dont know what the extent of his powers still are, though he is most likely still Kazekage of his village.

That's how I see it, though two of those Databook entries I quoted above state that their bloodline limit is the reason they are known as Konoha's strongest clan. But this could easily be explained by the size of each clan and how they functioned. The Uchiha clan could have been so much bigger that they had nearly just as many Sharingan users as there were Hyuuga(if not more), and never kept secrets from eachother like you said.

The Hyuuga were said to have a "pitiful" history, after all.

But, again, there are certain secrets that either weren't disclosed, or were forbidden in the Uchiha clan as well. Sasuke, who has inherited all that his bloodline has to offer, has more potential than Neji, who has inherited all that his bloodline has to offer. While I believe your average Main House Hyuuga would be stronger than your average Uchiha, there are rare talents like Itachi and Sasuke to consider. With the way things are going, the "best" Uchiha's bloodline limit will likely be superior to that of your "best" Hyuuga's.

They don't need to fight, they're never going to fight. Story's past that point where they even need to be compared. Sasuke's potential has already been forecasted long ago as being greater than Neji's, amongst all of Team 7, he's the one closest to reaching his full potential.

It may be an assumption, but it's a pretty damn safe one. Sai, the strongest of his generation, the one in the shadows of Konoha taking out big threats, couldn't do anything to 'im. Naruto has to surpass Kakashi(in some ways) in order to get a shot at beating Sasuke(and I know you don't think Neji is stronger than Kakashi or Gai, do you?). And all this talk about his unnatural growth.

Yeah, the point of the timeskip was pointless in regards to the plot of the story. In terms of training, the only character to benefit was Sasuke. But what about the main character? The time was wasted and now Kishimoto will have Kakashi train Naruto into a powerhouse in less that 6 mos? That's about the stupidest thing imaginable. Why is it that Kakashi can do a better job at training Naruto than Jirayia can?

The only thing to do now is to sit and see how everything is played out. However, the momentum from part 1 is lossed and now we see Kishi trying to bring it back.

I don't know about chapters, but the ep was mildy entertaining. when I found out who the line-up was gonna be, I thought it was gonna be some Inuyasha and Kagome type shit. my hand was over the delete button when the fat princess showed up. I sucked it up and watched it. Strangely, the Fat Elvis felt just right for the episode. Of course, my favorite part..............................Golden shower no-jutsu.

Poor Ino. that whole episode was designed to donkey punch Ino in her immortal soul and defile any children she may have in the future. It made me think about something that just may work for the series. if they used more one-shot fillers instead of the drawn out crap they've been doing, I think it would be easier on the rest of the fans. of course, they could just hurry up and let us see some more atkatsuki battles while waiting for the series to follow the anime again. I just recieved my Naruto vol. 1 dvd boxset today and I must say it's worth the $36 I paid for it. The video quality is excellent and the storyboard book is interesting. However, the dub is god awful and should be avoided at all costs.

- Akatsuki pwning some more folks, warrior monks to be specific.

- Naruto begins his training with Kakashi, and apparently Big K starts talking about the applications of Rasengan and Chidori (as in how the chakra is controlled and utilized) respectively.


So I'm thinking Naruto's new ultimate is gonna still be a close-range melee, no fear of Kamehamehas or anything. My guess is (especially since Kishi is a lazy mofo by his own admission) some kind of combination of the two jutsu into something altogether new, different, and WAY THE FUCK more powerful. Unfortunately for the Naruto series, the only plotline that makes any kind of sense is Sasuke's. No other cause in the series has any merit. Neither Naruto wanting to become Hokage or Akatsuki wanting power (which they already have in plenty abundance) lives up to Sasuke wanting to kill Itachi for murdering his parents, family, and clan. So what if Naruto doesn't know his parents, i'd rather not know them compared to having them murdered in front of me by my brother! And so what if Naruto has the evil Kyuuuubi villian living inside of him. Kyuuubi isn't nearly as cruel as the bijuu that was in Gaara. Naruto has it fairly easy.

The manga is getting good? Naruto goes off to train with a legendary ninja for 3 years and doesn't learn a damn thing. Naruto is supposed to have the most chakra in the manga. Regarding the guy being obsessed with money, he refers to himself as the treasurer of Akatsuki, right? So, either he is in charge of funding the entire operation (and his job is to make money for the rest of the Akatsuki), or its just a bad translation and by "treasurer" they really mean "I'm the one obsessed with money."

Well that guy does sound like the careful type, always saying "Keep your guard up or your dead". Maybe its because he's thinkin hey, if some shit happens and Akatsuki goes down, or if I'm too old to fight, at least I have all this money. Making lots of money is never a negative.
