Thank you very much sir, I draw from a combination of both as most artists do. That Sagat picture was mainly done from the mind, but for the little details like his eye patch and scar direction, I looked the Street Fighter Eternal Challenge book to get them right.

When I design characters I usually take lots of concepts from all around and combine them.

try getting a hold of an anatomy book, and go through it and see if this will improve your drawing bodies, also I recommend taking a look at Milo Manara his work is just awesome to get inspired for drawing the female body:wink:

That's mainly due to me not having a computer tablet. I can't really do it much anymore because my wrist is getting fucked up from using the mouse so much. I just taught myself how to use the mouse left hand so my drawing hand won't get ravaged by mousing. Thanks alot though.

I realize all the time I have lots and lots of problems, Anatomy isn't the only one, I suck at drawing hands, have you noticed how I don't really shade ?, I'm still really shaky on drawing faces, did you also notice how I can only draw like 3 facial expressions?, sometimes I won't use stick figures to build up what I am drawing, I draw very dirty, I suck at perspective, I use the same boring pose a lot, the list goes on and on.

That's why I am still in the aspiring stage, I still have a shit load of stuff to learn. I'd get an Anatomy book, but right now it's either Dragon Quest 8 or an Anatomy book, I think I will get Dragon Quest 8.

That Dan picture wasn't done by me, it was done by IP, and it's Dan pimping on Juli and Juni, I just colored it all crazy.

That Ken picture was colored by PsychoSquall. A lot of the Naruto pictures that are colored were colored by Zazzarius.

I know I need to fix some anatomy issues, but I don't want to draw every single muscle perfectly, I hate it when some artists draw some fucked up ass shit and people are all "WHOMG ! That is so hot !", I guess that comes with fan support. I just want to get to a point anatomically where I can draw everything in the right place everytime. (which is probably everyone's goal I guess)

So yeah I will try my best in the next couple of months to get better on that account, because I know what you mean.

I just looked, he draws the same body over and over. I like big breasts, so I tend to draw my women with larger then life chests. Asses too, but you're right, I do need to work on my feminine and male forms.

Thats one of the first drawings I did last year. It's so fucked up technically it's not even funny. :sad: Mugen is still the shit though. If I do any fanart that isn't Street Fighter based soon it will be of Samurai 7. That show was too tight.

Yeah I need to try harder/better/more whatever, and have still have lots to learn. Much practicing and refination needs to be done so that instead of creating sloppy good crap, I can do really great art (I'm not sure what the opposite of crap would be, non crap ? ) that people can enjoy and I can earn some sort of money for.
