GG's to AKScrube,This motherfucker has STAMINA!!!, let me go into detail about this.......
In fighting there are a few skills that are looked at and they are.......
Execution
Stratagy
Defense
Offence
Mindgames
Stamina
Now with Execution, you can do whatever at will when you want to.
Stratagy, you know what you're going to do and you have a guess at what it'll make the other guy do
Defence, When to take it and how to punish
Offence, When to give it and when to fall back
Mindgames, Basicly.......cheap shit and traps, this is important
Stamina, The most important - who can outlast who you can kicks someones royal ass for a good 3, 4 or 5 fights.......but you'll get burned out while the other guy still has lots of steam left and the outcome can turn into a 11-9 outcome in the other guys favor lol
Also good games to Circular.
this was posted in the good games thread, and i thought itd be cool to see how people see themselves, and how others see them. so heres the deal. take each category, rate yourself 1-10, and then if you see anyone else in the thread that youve fought enough to know for sure, rate them as well. you can always come back to the thread to see if someone has posted for you or whatever. here i go!
Execution: 6
i can useually do what i want to, but i suck at hit confirm. for instance, sometimes ill do Kim's command overhead (qcb X 3 with A) and it will hit, but i wont super. likewise, it wont hit, but be blocked, and ill activate the super anyways. i know what to do and when i can do it, but seeing the frames is somthing i have trouble with.
Strategy:7
i pride myself in knowing what people are thinking. sometimes im wrong, and sometimes i just dont listen to myself... for instance "ok, hes gonna block if i do a wakeup move, hes baiting me. so wakeup and block, then go from there" **Dragon Punches on wakeup and eats an LDM**
damnit!
Defense: 9
i know when to block and when to counterattack... thats all this is for right? i also know when to use AA attacks and when to turtle out an onslaught.
Offense:8
with some charecters, my rush is really good (Kim, Chang, Ash, Gato, Jhun, and Yuri come to mind) and with some charecters, i just dont have an offensive game ( King and Leona for instance.) with the later, i tend to work on a counter attack and baiting level... so i dunno. i definatly know when to back off, like when im playing the Jhun wakeup game, i dont risk them blocking it. i know when they are about to guess right and act accourdingly.
Mind Games: 10
this is the easiest category. everyone should rate themselves a 10 in this. if you ever got 3 knockdowns in a row with K' or Jhun, then your mind games are top notch.
Stamina: 10
ive never left a set unless i dropped or there was lag. period. that i can remember anyways.
Edit: just left a set with Saffy. not because i was tired, but because he stoped trying.

Execution: 5 - I can't do shit on an X-Box Pad.
Strategy:7 - I normally have a plan of action that works.
Defense: 7 - I know how to block and get out of the way.
Offense: 7 - I have a decent rush down.
Mind Games: 10 - This is where I shine, Just ask around.
Stamina: 3 - This is where I falter, Once I'm burned out - I'm done.

I think this would be more useful if we had a universal standard. My idea of a 7 might not be someone else's. My suggestions:
Execution:
1 (can't perform specials consistently)
...
5 (can perform moves and combos consistently, but can't react to game events)
...
10 (can hit confirm anything that can feasibly be hit confirmed, and can execute combos from a confirmed hit)
Strategy:
1 (button-mashing)
...
5 (can develop and execute a gameplan; knows what matchups are good and what matchups are bad)
...
10 (can change plans on the fly; counter-characters consistently)
Defense:
1 (Does not block)
...
5 (Knows how to block all moves, and can block them when they're just thrown out)
...
10 (Can block even complicated mixup strings)
Offense:
1 (Will not move toward opponent)
...
5 (Attacks, and can do damage, but cannot keep momentum)
...
10 (Attack strings are almost infinite. No one should get this ranking, except possibly if they use Duo Lon)
Mind games:
1 (Only ever attacks high or low)
...
5 (Knows some mind games, but uses them inconsistently or uses only simple mind games, like K' One Inch/sweep)
...
10 (Uses mind games constantly and uses extremely complicated mindgames where the opponent has to choose between three or more options regularly. I think this should be very rare)
Stamina:
1 (Cannot play two games in a row)
...
5 (Can play for an extended period, but is prone to frustration or physical exhaustion during demanding play)
...
10 (Can play for extended periods without any degredation in their play)
With those measures in mind:
Execution: 3 (I'm terrible, terrible with a pad. I can't get anything out consistently. It drives me nuts. To make matters worse, my pad is starting to wear out...)
Strategy: 7 (I concentrate a lot on counter-charactering and having a gameplan in order to pick up some slack from my execution. However, when I'm outclassed I tend to slip back into "don't get hit.")
Defense: 7 (I can see when something is coming high or low, but my reflexes are slow. I can only respond some of the time.)
Offense: 7 (Once I get some momentum, I can usually keep it going.)
Mind games: 6 (I've been pleased to be developing a throw game, but I have a long way to go)
Stamina: 6 (I have to concentrate to keep from getting frustrated.)

In reference to 2002. 2003 can kiss my ass.
Execution:6. I'm using the stick part of a madcatz pad that I bought three years ago. THREE YEARS!
Strategy:4 By the time I catch on, it's too late
Defense: 8 I actually think that I'm good at this
Offense: 6 I can rushdown with some speedy characters like Chris and Athena, maybe even Yashiro
Mind Games:0 I'm not convinced that I can confuse anyone
Stamina:7 If it's with a friend, I'll play forever, but if it's with some random dude, I'll play for like five matches

2003 was a disappointment.
Execution: 8. I can ALWAYS do what I want when I want when I have my controller of choice (Dreamcast or small X-box pad), but in competitive play I'm almost always using a stick, so....
Strategy: 10. If plan A fails, I'm never caught without a back-up.
Defense: 7. Not that an aggresive player can beat the crap outta me, but I'm always the aggresor.
Offense: 10. Trust me, you'll never have to worry about me running from ANYTHING. I'll gladly come to you, though you may not be pleased when I do. *points to sig*
Mind games: 5. I don't use many traps. My style is pure ass whoop.
Stamina: 10. If I got spare time, if I still got money, I'm still playing.

KOF 2003
Overall - 6
Execution - 7 - I can pull off combos/specials/supers w/ ease but I suck at hit confirm.
Strategy - 5 - I'm random as hell.
Defense -3 - if I get cornered or if my opponent knows at least some basic mix-up strings, I'm screwed.
Offence - 6 - I know some basic offensive stuff but I can't keep the momentum.
Mindgames - 2 - I'm random as hell.
Stamina - 4 - I can play for long periods of time but I usually leave if I lose several matches in a row and try to find someone else to play.
EDIT: I only know how to play Iori so I guess I should lower my score to 4 because of that.
