Decide to rent some crap movies

Good Luck Chuck - It actually was decent romcom in the beginning but after that it was not funny at all...There was a nice scene with Alba where she walks to the bedroom showing her ass then removes her bra & get to see side shot of her boob...4 out of 10

Kicking it Old School - This is a movie i really can relate too but the delivery of the jokes was just bad, cringe worthy...I like the soundtrack of the film though...4 out of 10

Balls of Fury - This was a little bit more enjoyable then the other two...Mainly because of Maggie fucking Q (http://youtube.com/watch?v=deUNwsR3slM)...Damn she was just ooozing sex in this one...The black chick was hot too...Jason Scott Lee has a pretty funny role even pokes fun of Dragon Bruce Lee story...The movie is pretty much combo of ping pong, mortal kombat, & enter the dragon...A lot of the jokes were hit & miss, more missess...5.5 out of 10

why is david lynch so awesome

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wKiIroiCvZ0

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F4wh_mc8hRE

btw, try to avoid "The Invasion". The movie starts out great with slow building then it just goes to shit in the last 30 minutes and the ending makes no sense. It's like they changed it at the last second. Reading up, it seems the director had problems with the producers so they refilmed the second half with a new director (supposedly the matrix guy and his sister), it's definately their style.

i'm confused by this statement. the first half of the sentence doesn't match the second half...now replace "best" with "only good" and it'll make more sense. it would be wholely untrue, but it would make sense...

yeah I ment to put "only good" there. Mulholland Drive was ok too. Seriously, David Lynch is overrated. He may interesting but he is overrated. Also, Blue Velvet sucks.

I know I'm behind the times but I just watch Kieslowski's Three Colors Trilogy for the first time this past week. Man, what an awesome set of films! Red has to be my favorite of the three, followed by Blue and finally White. Not to say White is awful, it's great. Funny as hell. But I highly recommend all three to see. Now I have to see "The Double Life of Veronique".

Some behind the scenes details on Children of Men

http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=6024614&postcount=563

People were saying CoM was robbed of an Oscar for cinematography, but I knew it was a cut-n-paste job the first time I watched the movie (which was a couple months before the US/general release.. nobody was talking about the movie or the camerawork when I saw it).

It was the editing and visual effects that made the movie look seamless and convincing, and that's what it should've won an Oscar for (hell, it should've won anything actually.. I DO agree that CoM is the biggest award snub of the decade)

Yeah I know. The Criterion Collection should pick the film up. The soundtrack is also mono only even though John Boorman admits to having a surround sound version of it that has never been heard because theaters did not have Dolby back in 1981. I would preorder an Excalibur criterion even if it was scheduled for release in 2010 or something, kind of like how I preordered Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair.

Excalibur is cheesy and overacted at times but when it is good, it is really fucking good. Like when Arthur is "reborn" though the power of the grail and rides off into battle through the blooming apple blossoms in order to smite his evil son with the motherfucking Sword of Power with O Fortuna playing in the background is one of the greatest scenes in cinematic history. Also, the dude who played Mordred was about as delightful evil as an evil, incestuously produced, familicidal son can be.

Here are another set of movies i watch this weekend...

Rambo - First time in the movie theater since 310 Yuma...I really hate watching movies in the theater due to the ridiculous prices...Despite that i felt i got my money's worth...Movie was entertaining from beginning to end...Violence & action was nice...The baddies were pure evil...I guess white girls are also Rambo's kryptonite...9 out 10

Sidney White - My asian wife pick this out, movie was predictable & lots of the jokes fell flat...Only near the end i found out it was a remake of Snow White & Seven Dwarfs...That explain a lot of the jokes...Still not as good as She's the Man...4.5 out 10

Rescue Dawn - After watching Rambo i thought these guys were pretty damn nice...Still movie was excellent from the cinematography, score, & acting...Zhan & Davies were really good & outshine Bale...Did not like the Bruce Lee Story ending though...8 out 10...

Harry Potter: Order of the Phoenix - Not really a fan of the Potter movies but its something to pass time...This one drag quite a bit...Not much happens until the end...My fav was scene was Harry getting Yellow Fever... 6.5 out 10

Got around to There Will Be Blood lastnight (10:10 late showing). Solid overall. It drug on in parts, but I'm going to blame that sentiment on the fact that I went to the final showing of the day and started to tire out at parts. I'll have to see it again with better eyes. Final scene was awesome. Paul Dano is on the rise and DDL delivered as usual.

Seraphim Falls - This was pretty damn good western until the weird ending...Movie reminded me of the Searchers...Its not a bad ending it just seems a bit different from the rest of the film, kinda like Sunshine...Still i recommend it to all western fans...7.5 out 10

Dragon Squad - Way too much style over substance...It has good cast, i mean you got Sammo, Maggie Q, & Michael fuckin Biehn getting dat yellow fever...There was some decent action but way too many quick cuts to enjoy it...Plus you get like a 10 minute shootout without anyone getting shot...What is this the A-team? 5 out 10

Girl on the bridge is a wonderful romance film. Tried to see Cloverfield, got motion sickness 30 minutes into the film, vomitted in the bathroom and went home. Didn't think that could happen to me, but then again eating warm (not hot) Taco Bell near closing time probably aided in my early exit.

You have to see it from the beginning. It's rumoured to be the film with the shortest scene times (between cuts) ever. Like it's a denseDENSE film and is basically The Matrix Triology in 90 minutes. And yes that is Bauer.

ended up watching a tremors marathon between yesterday/today

first in HD was pretty good quality, there was a lot of edge enhancement tho which is annoying

surprisingly 2, 3, and 4 are good sequels. I'd say 3 is the worst, especially the CGI they used. 4 was pretty good, but it put in some plot holes. I'd rank them 1, 4, 2, 3

Anyone know if the TV series is any good? Seems like the idea would get old quick, about co existing with the albino graboid. There's no DVD, but you can download them from amazon.

the first movie has a one hour making of documentary thats pretty cool. i really liked the parts where they talked about making the graboids and using them in the movie. it drags in the beginning, but the second half is much better.

Hmm I just noticed this thread and it seems like a pretty good one. Don't know how I missed it.

So I recently signed up with Netflix, which I must say is awesome, and I've watched a few movies the past month.

Tonight I saw Munich, pretty good. Not incredible, but a good movie.

The last few weeks I've seen:

Mission Impossible 3 - Best MI out of the 3 in my opinion.

Greatest Game Ever Played - Alot better than I expected.

Cowboy Bebop the Movie - Shit was cracked so they are sending me another one tomorrow.

I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry - Funny and Jessica Biel is hot as fuck.

Paprika - Good art, weird ass story.

Eastern Promises - Viggo Mortensen is a badass. Good movie.

Employee of the Month - I used to hate Dane Cook, but after seeing this movie he's not bad. Funnier than I thought it was gonna be.

Netflix is the shit. Right now I have the 3 DVD plan, not sure if I should up it to a higher amount of DVD's, I was thinking 5 but I don't know if it'll be worth it.

My movies this weekend

Harsh Times - Dont know why you didn't like the film, it was good performance by the two leads...I actually know quite a few people who are like this...8 out of 10

Employee of the Month (Bluray) Jessica Simpson boobs were nice in this one but damn her face not looking so good on bluray...As for the movie it was pretty lame but enough for me to finish watching it...4 out 10

Dead or Alive - This was actually a fun movie to watch...Those of you who dont like it must be gay...The women were fucking hot & movie did not take itself seriously...Even Aoki is somewhat decent looking...The only problem was Lei Feng was some fucking ugly asian chick, i mean she had like a small 2 minute role, they could have at least put some random hot asian chick to fulfill my yellow fever...6.5 out 10

too bad i didn't somehow make a lot of money off of them

i like to give every movie a chance which is why i end up buying every new release on blu ray/hd dvd and a lot of the catalog titles, but i'm thinking about reconsidering after dropping $60 for The Game Plan, Mr. Woodcock, and Good Luck Chuck and watching them all in a row because i didn't want to waste money

$60 isn't that big of a deal to me, but i feel like that money could be used in so many better ways

like giving it to a bum or my degenerate gambling friends

maybe tipping my mail woman so she doesn't leave my packages in a puddle on my steps instead of just carrying it up to my porch and putting it on my deck

looks like Descent 2 will follow the American ending...

pretty surprising they're even making a sequel

it made decent money in the US, but the US horror market is pretty tapped right now. a lot of movie releases are getting postponed indefinately, sold off, or direct to video.

i loved the first one and imported the DVD as soon as it came out. also saw it in theaters early with the "fangoria special" before the movie which ruined the entire plot and gave away the ending. everyone in the theater was like what the hell and my girlfriend at the time wanted to leave. the thing basically summed up the whole plot and did random interviews with people from the movie asking them, so what did yout hink about the ending

so stupid

lol i just saw timecop for the first time ever and it was in HD

0 special features and the PQ was pretty good surpringly, but man this movie is awesome

i also love how in all these 90s action karate mix movies they do a fast cut in the middle of the action, but its always to a guy who is just standing completely still getting ready to be kicked in the face

regardless of what he was doing before the cut

also the ending, classic

are all van damme movies like this? i've never seen any except for street fighter

and their vision for 2004 was classic, 8 inch tube TV's, but cars that drive themselves

i hate movies that do that

plus sam raimi produced and he seems to love those comic book adaptations

was there ever a Tremors comic book? In the third movie the chinese woman referred to one multiple times I thought they were trying to promote it, but when I google for Tremors comic all that comes up is Spawn

Watched Blue Chips the other night. I've seen it before as a kid, but that was when I specifically wanted to see Shaq dunk on people. But the recruiting tactics such as collegiate athletes accepting gifts and point shaving were aspects that this movie did an excellent job of covering. Lots of very cool cameos. I also liked how the games used a mix of NBA and college players so the basketball action looked pretty authentic.

I also checked out Fast Food Nation. It was okay. Nothing special. I could've done without the tree huggers and PETA wannabes. But some parts were nice, particularly the illegals working at the meat packing plant as well as the corporate angle.

I got a screener of this and watched it tonight. It's pretty good. I always like seeing Rufus Sewell in roles. It wasn't as hardcore as I was lead to believe. Maybe I'm just desensitized but I found it pretty tame for the most part, although jason patric shoving the broken glass up her vag was cool.

Saw Jumper last night. I thought it was highly entertaining. Brisk paced, nice "jump" special effects, interesting premise. The character development was lacking, and I found Griffin to be more interesting than David, but that's what you get for casting Hayden Christiansen as a lead role; lots of wounded looks and scowls.

anyone pick up that blade runner collectors edition? I never seen the movie before, but its pretty good so far. Just watched the "Final Cut", it looks really impressive in HD.

There's like 9 hours of special features including a 3.5 hour documentary, a little overkill I think. Dunno if I liked it that much, but going to see what the documentary is about.

I also watched In the Valley of Elah, typical Haggis shove an idea down your throat and ruin what might of been a good movie crap. It looked good in HD, lot of bright shots and good lighting. Tommy Lee Jones was pretty good in this, which was surprising to me cause I usually hate him in everything.

and Michael Clayton on blu. I still don't understand all the praise for this movie, but whatever. Can't wait until March when this wins 0 oscars and disappears off the face of the earth.

Finally got arond to seeing Superbad, really good stuff. Spot-on accuracy with how high school actually was; nice looking girls (not supermodels) that were far more "normal" than you'd suspect, geeks that weren't hopelessly ugly or unsocialized (just quirky), and 18 year old hair-brained schemes of how/what to do to get laid. Really touched a part with me.

I think the reason why lots of 80's sci-fi/action flicks >>> 90s and beyond is because CGI was still in it's infancy, forcing movies to use puppets/animatronics/etc (like in Aliens). This gave the movie/creatures a "real" look to it. Compare the creatures from Aliens to Alien 3 (most shots were CGI, few were animatronics), you'll see what I'm talking about. God I wish movies would stop using CGI in every single scene.

Since Rsigley was talking about Eli Roth, I was browsing the Wikipedia and found this quote...

I f***ing love that book. Such a smart take on the zombie movie. I am so psyched to do it. I think you can really do almost a cross between the Dawn of the Dead remake with a 'Roland Emmerich' approach (for lack of a better reference) where you show it happening all over the world. When the pulse hits, I wanna see it hit EVERYWHERE. In restaurants, in movie theaters, at sports events, all the places that people drive you crazy when they're talking on their cell phones. I see total armageddon. People going crazy killing each other - everyone at once - all over the world. Cars smashing into each other, people getting stabbed, throats getting ripped out. The one thing I always wanted to see in zombie movies is the actual moment the plague hits, and not just in one spot, but everywhere. You usually get flashes of it happening around the world on news broadcasts, but you never actually get to experience it happening everywhere. Then as the phone crazies start to change and mutate, the story gets pared down to a story about human survival in the post-apocalyptic world ruled by phone crazies. I'm so excited, I wish the script was ready right now so I could start production. But it'll get written (or at least a draft will) while I'm doing Hostel 2, and then I can go right into it. It should feel like an ultra-violent event movie

That makes me happy, specifically the "I want to show the part where the plague hits everywhere", that is exactly what I've been wanting in a zombie movie forever.

I'll see that movie specifically for that scene alone.

another aspect ratio scare is the new Criterion The Last Emperor box set. The cinematographer is this nutjob Italian guy that wants to cut everything down to a 2:1 ratio. It might not be that bad as Bernado Bertollucci said that the cut aspect ratio actually improves the appearance of the film so the boxset includes the theatrical cut in the og ratio and the director's cut in the nutty italian dudes 2:1 ratio. I already have the director's cut in the og ratio so I do not really mind.

I thought season 1 was more serious with the family dealing with the lost of their husband/father but season 2 and 3 threw all of that out the window and went bonkers. I honestly wished season 2 and 3 was more like season's 1 tone but it's still entertaining.

didn't have a TV growing up or through college

i bought a small one when i was in grad school, but didn't really get into movies until like 4 years ago when i got a job editing TV shows for Discovery Channel and filming documentaries for an educational company

lot of "classics" i haven't seen yet, maybe someday. You went from not even having a TV or watching movies for most of your life to getting professional work in the television industry?

Very queer, indeed.

yea, got it through someone i know, he worked there and was gong on vacation for 2 months and needed someone to do his work so he could keep his job when he came back

was supposed to be temporary but it kind of expanded

i actually run my own production company now and do a lot of film work for schools and other educational videos. also shot a couple commercials i never seen on TV. but mostly do educational stuff and occasionally stuff for big businesses, like film a motivational video for a party or a training video (pays really well)

you don't really need to watch TV to edit shows anyway, when you come in they have a script and all the video is captured already. you get your small room and your script and a computer with all the video ready and you just have to follow the script. it's very basic and boring because you don't have to make any decisions, they're all made for you

So i saw Vantage Point today. Decent movie with the only thing keeping it from being a real good movie was the consistent "time reversal" to see how the same damn scenario was from some one else view.

Dennis Quaid's character was fucking badass towards the end.

So, I watched two dvds this weekend. Infernal Affairs III, which was kinda weird, but not that bad. I watched the director's cut, but I don't know what the differences (if any) were. I didn't like how they kept jumping back and forth between the past and the present, but the pay off at the end was nice.

Also watched a movie called, "The Nines" with Ryan Reynolds. I do not recommend this movie. Too weird, then when they get to the reveal, you kind of laugh at how ridiculous it sounds.

I'm sorta doubting Star Wars 30 years after the fact is that appealing to newcomers. I could be wrong about that, but I disagree that it's a movie series you need to watch strictly for entertainment.

Yeah, I didn't really want to watch it, but we had a free rental and my wife picked it up, saying that it looked interesting from the box. And it did, seeing as it talked about how it was the same actors in three different stories, all playing different parts. But, yeah... avoid.

omg, they take script submissions!

I have a nice Vlad the Impaler biopic/most violent movie ever idea where he is like some anti-hero fighting/impaling/hacking to bits the Turks but I don't think that would be a good fit for them. Don't steal my idea. What I have in mind is so violent, it would make Cannibal Holocaust look like Barney and Friends, except with less moral ambiguity. My idea is a fucked up "evil" dude fighting the armies of darkness led by an eviler dude (Sultan Mehmet II) and Vlad's own brother as the eviler dude's gay lover. I already have envisioned a few scenes in my head including some famous wood cuts "brought to life". If you steal my dream project, I will kill you. They already did a made for TV lifetime movie shit of him and that pissed me off but at least they had Peter Weller onscreen for like 5 minutes which was the only redeeming feature of the lifetime tv movie shit film.

My serial killing ice cream truck driver one would be great for them though. I have this vision of this guy with a southern drawl driving a Good Humor truck eating small children/horny teenagers. I actually think Troma would do a better job than the Asylum though.

watched a bunch of movies this weekend ( I got showtime free for 12 months when I signed up for HBO to watch the wire):

Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels - not as good as Snatch, feels very dated now after all the copycats. Color pallete was annoying.

The Brave One - Horrid. Takes every good thing about Death Wish and shits on it. This is a pure example of a soulless studio film made by committee. Anyone else think Terrance Howard is way too overexposed?

The Simpsons Movie - I thought this was pretty shitty. A few good lines (comic book guy: ...and all I have to say is: LIFE WELL SPENT!) but mostly this was every reason why I stopped watching the show 10 seasons ago or so: no heart, characters turned into cartoonish versions of themselves, and a plot that is nothing more than a bunch of random jokes strewn together. Basically the simpsons turned into Family Guy. You could tell the first 20 minutes of the movie were made long before they even had a script.

Trainspotting - man do I love me some kelly macdonald. How old was she when she made this?

The Beach Girls - this was a great early 80s beach flick. Tons of attractive topless girls, some good cheesy humor, great scenery, fun soundtrack

Your Vice is a Locked Room and Only I Have the Key - this was a pretty good 80s giallo that started out with a great hippie orgy but then got a little muddled. Must breakt he record for insert shots of a black cat. Some fine women, a really tame lesbian scene, some good stairs moments, deaths were alright not great.

i watched 8 or 9 episodes of tremors the tv series over the weekend

i love the tremors series, but this is pretty lame. it's just random sci fi type events taking place in perfection valley. in a couple of episodes graboids/shreikers appear elsewhere and they go and kill them.

oh and el blanco eats a vegas mobster who has a key to a vault with 20 million in bonds, so mobsters hit up perfection to kill el blanco and get the key back with that spanish guy from NYPD blue rocking a velore track suit the entire time

Downfall (Der Untergang) is a german film about the last days of the Hitler regime.

I saw this at AICN and thought it was kinda crazy. I didn't recognize him (http://www.aintitcool.com/node/35858). Its for a new comedy (I'm assuming) called Tropic Thunder.

So, I've been catching up on a few movies. Watched Hairspray finally, and I liked it. I don't really like Zac Efron too much though. Watched Infernal Affairs III, Director's cut. It was kinda confusing at first, but in the end, there's a payoff and I didn't hate it. It was pretty good, nowhere near the original though.

Has anyone watched "Confession of Pain"? I've had it on my shelf for a while but haven't gotten the chance to watch it yet.

Have a few rentals I need to get around to watching, too. Pixar Short Films, Death at a Funeral, Assassination of Jesse James, Beowulf and Legend of the Black Scorpion.

"the mist" fucking sucked. science gone bad thing is mad played out, crappy cgi, terrible acting, boring, annoying religious woman talking gibberish for 2 hours. this movie has it ALL :wasted:

"storm warning" was pretty good. mix of saw and hostel. 8/10 easy :looney:

"killing arial" was allright..really random but good for a "psycho" movie(lack of better term lol)

and watched eastern promises again. naomi watts has to be THE hottest 40 year old ever..I thought she was like 25 or something

Taito
03-08-2008, 07:02 AM
Since Cronenberg was directing and Watts doesn't have much reservation showing off those giant nipples on camera I was disappointed she didn't do a nude scene. Fuck, even Viggo was completely nude.. WTF Cronenberg, not even a 'step out of the shower' scene for Watts? >:(

Eastern Promises was an enjoyable movie (although predictable and not really complex). Actually the hardcore violence and sex was pretty jolting as it didn't really fit in with the rest of the film. I know Cronenberg is all about horror and gore but he needs to tone it down for his next drama that's similar to History of Violence and EP.

EvilSamurai
03-08-2008, 10:46 AM
^
The violence in Eastern Promises and A History of Violence is perfectly done and illustrates the themes of both movies. A History of Violence is actually about the violent nature of mankind that is apparent throughout our history. It strikes at the heart of our hypocritical idealization of "warrior culture." Eastern Promises on the other hand is a genre picture immersed in the violent world of the Russian Mafia, who enslave their own women in the name of capitalism. It shows so-called "graphic" sex and violence as that is a daily occurrence in the abominable lives of the very people that live in such a world. To not show such acts would idealize the film. If you are complaining about the graphic portrayal of it, then you have the wrong idea. To NOT SHOW the blood, gore, bones, and sweat would in fact condone such acts by not showing the consequences of them. Humans are not pixels that fall off of the screen upon death, we are living flesh. Death is supposed to be dirty, even natural ones. If someone dies of old age, just think about what is happening to their corpse. It is being eaten from within by creatures that your now-dead immune system would otherwise fight off. This is why Cronenberg is one of the greatest directors currently working.

Taito
03-08-2008, 11:14 AM

ended up watching:

Rescue Dawn - i love bale, but i think he really overdid the acting here. i enjoyed the movie though until i read that its not how it really went down. but how can you hate a movie that makes you not hate steve zahn

Mr. Brooks - this is my second time watching it, on blu ray rthis time. Really good transfer, I really like this movie. Don't wanna give anything away, so I dunno if you haven't seen it rent it at least.

Kill Them All and Come Back Alone - finally got a US DVD release, a spaghetti western with Chuck Connors and Frank Wolff about robbing the US Gold stock. I think this movie has one of the best camera work I ever seen. The cinematographer Alejandro Ulloa is great in this and other spaghetti westerns. Script is really good too.

Ilsa She Wolf of the SS - explotation film shot on the set of Hogan's Heroes haha. Basically some chick picks a new guy every night, fucks him, and gets disappointed when he ejaculates so she cuts off his penis. I think its one of the only movies classified as "nazi exploitation" too. Not jacking material though, but much better than crap like Hostel/Saw IMO. Just ordered the sequels (Ilsa, Harem Keeper of the Oil Sheiks and Ilsa, the Wicked Warden), hope they come soon.

one thing i found interesting about rocky balboa is they shot the fight scene first because he wouldn't have enough time to train during the filming, but they hit each other for real. luckily stallone or tarver didn't get messed up or the movie would of looked stupid.

also, watching the documentaries on the disk makes me appreciate stallone more. i think he's really underrated as a director/writer. when he talks he knows what he's talking about and seems really talented and his movies all look good visually.

unlike renny harlin who always talks great in his commentaries (die hard 2 commentary is awesome, same with cliffhanger), but for some reason all his movies end up sucking

Just saw Dan in Real Life on Blu-ray. Pretty good movie, I liked it. One thing I could not stand though was the main actress. I'm sorry if I'm being shallow, but she was so unattractive, I couldn't believe that anyone was competing for her affection.

haha that opening scene in cliffhanger is so hilarious

DONT LET ME DIEEE

i read the stuntman got 1 million dollars to do that plane to plane transfer too, pretty sick

i got the afterdark 8 films to die for 2008 in the mail today (couple days early!!)

anyone see these in theaters and have recommendations for which one to start with?

that sucks about dan in real life, i ordered the blu ray but still waiting for FYE to send it to me

Am i the only who like the Hulk? This one doesn't look that good to me...
Hulk was positively awful, but with a great cast and some great scenes here and there, specifically the origin story. Stupid shit like the final battle and the Hulk-puppies almost negated the good parts. Still I would've preferred that they made a sequel instead of rebooting.

I also liked the stocky model from the old Hulk, even though the new Hulk face is an improvement. Either way I don't give a shit about the new movie, Ed Norton and Tim Roth be damned.

I think Stallone is the best actor out of the 90's action-heroes; Stallone, Van Damme, and Ahnuld. I've always found his action movies to be enjoyable, even at 60 years old.

also, watching the documentaries on the disk makes me appreciate stallone more. i think he's really underrated as a director/writer. when he talks he knows what he's talking about and seems really talented and his movies all look good visually.

unlike renny harlin who always talks great in his commentaries (die hard 2 commentary is awesome, same with cliffhanger), but for some reason all his movies end up sucking
Harlin does good audio commentaries? I will have to pop in his exorcist disk after all...

Stallone is a classic director - Staying Alive is on point

Has anyone seen Funny Games? I am going to go see it tonight. I've seen the original, so yes. I like Brady Corbet though, he was great in Mysterious Skin.

i only heard harlin on die hard 2 and cliffhanger, both were really good

sometimes its hard to understand him because of his accent and he talks really fast, but there's no gaps at all so there's a lot of information

damn, they never do that stuff here. occasionally in NY they'll show old movies at festivals, but too far for me.

if anyones interested moveon.org, make a 30 second obama video and if you win you get 20k to buy camera equipment

i don't want obama to win, but i figure i'll make a commercial to try to win

weird thing is i thought moveon.org was made to defend clinton during the sex scandal and now they're abandoning hillary

lol i just found the april fools remake at the store today so i had to buy it

first, its hardly a remake. it doesn't really take anything from the first movie except the joke aspect, so i dunno if its really a remake.

second, why do you get like 50 super hot actresses and don't get any of them naked??? what a cock tease

i looked them all up too and they all never got naked in their life

oh yea the movie as a whole sucks too, if you watch it look for the main female characters acting at the end, so horrible

one thing tho is, the movie looks really nice. the shots are nice and everything is lit up real good, but yea the rest sucks

anyone else cry at the end of terminator 2 when he's being lowered into the molten lava and does the thumbs up?

so sad

also did anyone notice at the end of saving private ryan there's this one blonde chick with massive breasts? she has the best i ever seen i think

I thought other parts of the film were more touching than that, personally. Actually I was enjoying that scene up until the thumbs up. Maybe I felt like the timing was just awkward or something.

And there's only two scenes in Saving Private Ryan that I care to remember; the rain hitting the leaf in the puddle, and them chillin on the stoop listening to that song.

next time you watch ryan, during the last scene where he's visiting the graves look for the blonde chick with the nice breasts

i'd like to thank my DVR for that

was channel browsing and that last awesome fight was on then i noticed her breasts and was like wait what and was able to remind and pause on them to conclude they're the greatest ever

Finally saw No Country for Old Men. Weak extras on the BR, but the movie was great. I can see why people didn't like the ending, but I don't think it totally ruined the movie.

The ending of NCFOM was impeccable. I imagine the naysayers have a hard time dealing with most endings that are actually challenging and don't wrap themselves up in neat, tidy little bows.
