who started 2k6 by countrerpicking Akuna against my Urien and spam Hurricanes and SRKs like an idiot and jump like
a moron and then dropped at KO in the third round which he lost :D ... Happy new years looser!

oh... and a direct bad game to Cyber Kitties for winning a round in our first match while i'm trying to change the batteries in my wireless controller, and then dropping the round after when i KO you

(1)Exodus beats the crap out of pretty much every player on live.
(2)No SKILLED player on live ever complained about Exo dropping (apart from you)
(3)Many of the good players on live have posted about you losing to them and dropping (me included). But you dont drop anymore - so no one is bothered.
(4)I've beaten Exodus once and instead of dropping, he beat me the next 7 or 8 games straight.
(5)You beat Exodus once and he dropped.

I'm here just to vouche for this bullshit.

When the match between Ex and Vir took place, the only lag I saw was when Ex stopped in midair before a chop at Vir during the first match in Yun vs Yun (that was the most insane battle I've ever seen in Live). Afterwards, on the next match of Yun vs Ken, it was clean, I wish I had my camera for proof, but we could always do a rematch and I will have a camera at hand.

Also, I check my own connection and cable, and we ARE running on a super fast connection. When the match took place I took the extra step of disabling all other connections to the router besides Xbox LIVE. Also, we own a Hawking Broadband sorter, so it minimizes lag to the point of no existance when both computers are in use (I recommend the device to others who want to insure a good connection).

Like I said, we can do this agian, and I'll have everything setup the same way to be 100% sure there is no lag, but chances are the lag came from either Ex or it's a cross-state thing.

No concection is lag free. It's depends on what kind of modem you have. Besides that, it depends on where you live in a particular state or country. You don't have to download anything, but the connection will still lag of distance regardless of what kind of broadband you use or modems. Even with a T3, it's not promising to have a good connection. It doesn't stop there, because it also depends on the servers online. Lag free connections deosn't exist never from my experience when I get online and 99.9% of the matches I've been were rubblish for the most part. It's rare for me to have an decent connection even if I'm a good amount of miles away from a person that is in another city in the same state.

Ofcourse there is such thing as LAG FREE, its pretty impossible to tell the slightest slutter online, ive had few pefect matches, doesnt matter what the ping is, as long as its below 50ms, its pretty much lag free.
Obviously in arcades, its pretty much real time response and over the net you may think theres possible virtual delay but i dont really see the difference in counter strike online [>30ms ping] and on a directly connected LAN. Ofcourse only way i can get better is through XBL , since there are hardly any 3S players here. But i doubt anyone gets below 30ms ping on XBL. So maybe it is different but saying XBL means shit, bit overboard.

For fuck's sake, I actually start a set off against someone I dont know with Q nowadays! I can understand someone dropping after getting demon'd or something in the very first round, but after losing to non-taunting Q?? I'm a pathetic B grade (thanks mostly to all the long sets against SKILLED players), but ranked 12. I'd give anything to lose that rank. I stopped live for 3 weeks once and my rank dropped from 7 to 17. I can't wait that long again, I love 3s too much.

I know everyone here advises 'only play people on your fl' - and thats what has been happening with me whether I like it or not. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but the whole 'play someone whose play style I know nothing about' element has almost completely vanished. There something different in playing someone you've never played and seeing whether or not you can beat them.

Anyways, I'm just wondering if anyone else has this problem and how they got around it. One thing I did was get a new tag and that worked for a week or two. I can't do that all the time though.

The other thing I was thinking was that the many srk'ers who haven't played me yet can try arranging something with me over msn or even private messages. Especially Americans - there are quite a few of you whom I haven't been able to play yet. Those who dont mind 'playable' as opposed to 'sweet' connections, please let me know. I'd appreciate it :tup:

Eventually switched to Chun Li for a beat and I beat him 4-0 with that, then back to Ryu. I just couldnt accept losin to him so kept playing more lol. Best thing to do was just get a lead and then play him at his own game ands turtle. Then the clock runs down and he panics.
