whats your guys's standing on this? Whenever im fighting a person that all of a sudden went AFK I always wait for them, I mean XBL isnt that important I don't need to win that bad that iil fight an afk person, and when im afk nobody wait for me its OMG HES AFK NOW I CAN GET A WIN!!! fuck guys calm down its XBL, and for those that do this and say well they shouldnt be afk in the first placer in theyre going to play, shit happens, somethings are more important that SF (believe it or not) and im not going to watrch my house burn down because i want to win this match, so why not give the other person a break and wait a few seconds. 1 more thing i always get one jab in just in case theyre afk for the whole round

Everyone has their own ways. I actually won't do any assaulting until I know that person is back. In the meantime, I'm plenty entertained by Q and his weird characteristics and moves. Sometimes the timer runs out and I get to see the rare "Judgement" screen, that's always fun to watch. Pretty much every person who's AFK that comes back signals with a couple of quick jabs or moving back and forth. I'm sure they appreciate the "calm before the storm", heh.

I've only ever played one person that actually carried on fighting while I was afk. Generally people are alright about waiting. Some people taunt to indicate that they are going 'afk' sort of a 'brb'. Yeah and giving a few jabs to say "I'm back" is pretty universal too.

That said, I've played a few people that will build meter or get defensive taunts in while you're busy. I hate that.

I was just playing some Akuma player Icarus74 and things wern't going his way first round. He was down to about 10% health and I still had about 95% so he just stood there. I knew full well he hadn't gone AFK, but I humoured him. Held back and stood still enough waiting for him to 'come back'.

The first round timed out, and the second started. He was still stading still so I walked up and jabbed him with about 20 seconds left. Just as the timer gets to about 4 seconds he shoots a fireball, but I was ready and countered with EX hadoken. He then fires Shakunetsu Hadoken (2 second left) which I jump and then he drops. Hahah. I hope the dude posts here. I came close to pissing my pants laughing. He's invented an entirely new form of scrubbery! Hahaha.
