I'm beginning to worry that SF:AC will never be BC with the 360. Too much money potential with XBLA, maybe Capcom will get greedy and tell M$ to not get their game working. There aren't many "arcade compliation" games on the BC list after all.

You should worry because it will never happen in a million years.
The best you can hope for is 3rd Strike coming to Xbox Live arcade....but I wouldn't bet on it.
What's the big deal though just continue to play 3rd on XBox 1 you've got I would say at least 2 years if not longer before MS pulls the plug on Xbox live for Xbox 1.
If you don't believe me look at the Dreamcast. They kept Phantasy Star online going well into 2003 even after the DC was discontinued and everything. And online for the DC was a free service! MS has way too many Xbox 1 subscribers to pull the plug just yet.

See, I don't know about 3rd Strike coming to XBLA because there's a 64meg limit on those games (so it can fit on a memory card), and with all the animation I'm sure 3rd Strike is much bigger than that.
So basically, :'(

What about people like me who don't own (and didn't want to own) an Xbox?

I used to never want to own an Xbox. Then I heard that 3s would come for it
and be online enabled and I bought one!

The CPS3 rom of 3rd Strike is 63MB..but as we all know there is no emus to play it on.

If Xbox 360 doesnt get a real version of SF3 then i will probably never buy an Xbox 360. I have a very capable PC to play next gen games with. Ill probably wait to see what PS3 and Rev has to offer.

Guys the Xbox 360 backward compatibility sucks ASS. Most of the games that work on it at the moment have problems like frame rate drops, strange gfx errors, and other shit. Who in there right mind would want to play SF3 on the 360 if it is not at least 99% the same as playing it on an Xbox performace wise.
Another thing ALL the Xbox games CAN run but the problem is MS locks out the games which have not passed their "B.C Testing". However, MS forgot to close a loop hole which allows people to play Xbox Demo Discs in the 360 with out the need for a patch.
I'm all for SFAC working on the 360 but MS need to make sure it runs very well without shit like framerate drops. The added support for 720p would be a nice bonus of course.
