depends on what you or the tourney organizers define as "low". Some people see it as "anyone who's not in top tier, like Cable or Sent", but the majority, like myself, think of it as the cream of the crap, like Dan, Roll, Servbot, etc.
Black Cyclone
JS lets go for these guys:
Jill
Marrow
Cammy
Juggs
Capt. America
Hulk
Psylock
Sabertooth
Charlie
Pick one I already have my team.

Hulk isn't particularly easy to use effectively......
.....but well worth the effort. :D
-Jugg
Juggrknott we have to use them its and Ultra low tournament(lower then low teir).

the best that aquarake mentioned i think is dhalsim but he seems hard to learn, with sabertooth(they go well together),and and anti air someone like cap if he isn't top tier im not sure.
Is really good aaa considered top tier??
if he is a top tier then i would go with war machine after that. he has a decent anti air that can be comboed into sabertooths super or dhalsim and it sets them up for a long air dhalsim combo.
but if you go with war machine i would pic then omega red instead of sabertooth. he is a high low tier and his throw assist can set war machines infinite up like it does for iron man unless their are some diff properties and it doesn't work.
Psylock too is perfect for the infinite. and she isn't too bad on her own especially in low tier tournies.
Jesus loves you all with an everlasting love.:D

Dhalsim
Guile
MegaMan
Rogue
War Machine
Those are banned from this gay tournament.

WHAT?
BIG BAD MOG
09-17-2002, 12:41 PM
Mech-Zangief(Ground)/Juggernaut(Dash)/Hulk(Dash). Gief's ground assist to a fully mashed out Head Crush or Gamma Crush=death. Not too many characters w/o good keepaway can stand up to mech-zangief. A simple lariat or c. lk, c. lk to a triple spells out doom.

Wolverine!
Wolverine is good because he can stay on a character for a long time. He can punish assists while forcing the point to block. He has lots of mobility with drill claw and stomp kick. And he's Zazariffic.

Zangief
Shuma gora

Spiderman is AWESOME on point. he's not as good as magneto or anything, but out of those people, spiderman's the best. he's also a meter builder. i usually never use his hyper combos.
Sonson is really effective also. use her AAA...i think it's her best assist.
servebot with sonson is pretty effective. it's hard to tackle this little guy. and with her AAA, it'll be even harder. her staff literally covers the lil tike when she's jumping (invincibility frames).
i'm not saying use those 3 in a team cuz, well, they all take hits really bad. but those are just some pointers that i've found out.

Chun Li is a good choice, but it takes skills to master her. If you don't feel like learning Chun Li, just jump, stomp and call assist, 2ndump+stomp+assist, 3rdjump+stomp+assist, airdash+stomp+assist etc...etc... pick an assit that cheaps. Right angle jump...etc..etc. Shit, I would realy like to be there and rape them whit Chun li, anyways don't forget to tell us which teams did well, who is the winner and WHAT NEW STUFF ABOUT LOW TIERS PEOPLE USED.

First of all, could you tell us which characters specifically are banned.
Anyway, I'd recommend BBHood/Jugg/Hulk. Nothing wrong with 100%. Failing that, I'd go with random rushdown char/Guile/Tron. Guile provides the AAA, and Tron adds some punch to your combos.

Brief rundown
Dan - Probably Antiair type is your best bet. I think he has a projectile (DONT PICK THIS) and a variety (throws signitured photos. not TOO bad, may set up for combos i guess)
Servbot - Proj assist (for projectile) or variety assist (for the variety assist exclusive super). Anti-air assist is not recommended
Roll - just... dont... pick... her
Chun-li - In this low tier, she is one of the top rushdowners here. You can use basic things like (neutral)c.HK xx qcf KK, or kikosho to prevent jumpins. Go for either Anti-air assists or expansion type if u have another person to rush with. Expansion hits crouchblocking opponents
Spider-man - Not TOO familiar, so i'll just skip it. Capture type is useful, and antiair is decent. I recommend capture though.
Wolverine - For crazy rushdown, i recommend you pick zaza's double wolverine team. Wolverine, Wolverine-b. I forgot which is which, but one of the wolverines has a "berserker barrage" assist, so rush in and do lp berserker barrage, and time it so the other wolverine assists berserker barrage to cover your lag time.
Wolverine-bone - See above
Zangief - Mecha mode, since you dont have to worry about crazy beams shooting from nowhere or falling icicles covering the entire screen. Ground type sets up for combo, so i recommend ground. His spinning lariat hits 4 (i think) times, keeping them stranded in one small area for the first 3 hits. And since he cant be knocked out, that adds extra UMMPH to his assist
as a point, a simple combo may be Lariat xx FAB, but if you dont know how to use zangief, you might not wanna use him
Shuma gora - dunno him
Sonson - i've seen a gambit/morrigan/sonson team own, but other than recommending you learn her bread and butter combos (anti-air into big stick super i think), not much to say

That may work, but that's not what Zaza does. His team is Wolverine/Sentinel/Bonerine, and his pattern is:
run in c.jab -> c.short -> c.forward -> c.rh -> call Sentinel -> BB
jab BB for Wolvie, fierce BB for Bonie (it's a true trap for Bonie).
He rarely uses Berserker barrage assist, he picks alpha Wolvie for the team super (which is a totally safe way to punish assists at 3 levels - and believe me, Wolverine is one of the BEST batteries in the game).
Then there's the Sentinel/Bonerine stomp, but that's ghetto.

Zangeif: Any team where you can mech Zangief is gonna give that whole list of characters big headaches, since none of these characters can keep-away.
Wolverines: Everybody here does rushdown, but these two do it the best. Pick a slow projectile assist (sonson projectile and Spiderman projectile are decent) to help your rushdown.
Sonson: Stupid wallrun patterns are gonna frustrate rushdown quite a bit when paired with any projectile assist or with IBZ Lariat.
You might pick Roll for her projectile type assist to help with rushdown. Or you can pick Dan for his damaging combos and super linking. Don't pick Servbot.

He had wolvie/wolvie/sentinel, and owned me by his second wolverine without using his sentinel.

aquarake: I only do that Wolverine with Wolverine assist shit when my middle man dies or I'm messing around. It's too risky seeing as how I wouldn't be able to cover either assist if they pushblock.
Do what you will, but for pity's sake, don't do that. Projectile assists (or the middle man) do better in that case since they, practically, cover themselves... in other words, whether the opp. pushes or not.
I was also going to say... Roll works. Getting out of traps is the same whether you're Roll or not... only that Roll, unlike everyone else, has an easier time doing so (what with her being so small). I used to think she didn't work, but she does. Her throw (does same damage as most throws, hard to tech and makes em land right next to her) and sweep make her decent... (in other words, she's got wake-up games) and since she has a double jump, she can get in. The only real risk about using her is, like with the other low tiers, she takes bad damage and, like everyone else in the game (including top tier), when your opponent has a lead and runs. She can also do decent damage to punish if you create a good "assist into Hyper Roll" combo, which is also possible.
Don't diss the low tiers. The only time they suck is when sucky people use them. (Not to impugn your skills, there Kenny!) :p Anyways, late!

BAH u. I'm somebody that actually USED roll seriously in MvC1, and i recommend you not use her.
Roll is hella slow. If you need to dash, c.HK. Its probably faster and safer. Double jump is nothing extraordinary. It may get u out of weird situations, but eh. She cant do her beat plane super in the air, she starts out with the rockball weapon.
always, ALWAYS cancel c.HK into qcf p. Qcf p will cancel the lag of the slide, but now u have to worry about the lag of the qcf p
It's hard to say how to play roll, since she takes damage like a rushdown character only worse, but her jumps are so slow, you would want her as a keepaway, but she has no good keepaway skills. Rockball or tornado hold is good for that. You probably dont ever want to use leaf shield.
Hyper roll = cant combo it alone, u need assist that will keep the opponent close by to hit with the initial hit frames of the hyper roll. Only the thunder does any real damage.
Rush drill = i dont recommend using
Beat plane = THEORETICALLY u can guardbreak with this: fireball, wait, shoot missiles like crazy and then start mashing. The catch is, you need to do it right after the character screams and dies so the lag to start up can pass.

i disagree. Servbot will ruin alot of scrub combos because of his size alone. I'm no servbot player, but here's in interesting bit of info
his qcf pp super (on variable assist) chips like mad, but if u have servbot on assist, u might want to try going at putting him at projectile assist. It still chips decently, but the opponent has to be grounded so that may ruin chipping opportunity.
45 degree fire will ruin rushdown.
qcf taunt launches a paper airplane. releasing taunt will explode the plane. Taunt with style.
