Hidiacs-Hidiacs are the zombie foot soldiers that serve the evil forces that threaten the planet. They carry axes into battle and beneath their masks is a rotted skull covered in worms. The Hidiacs are led by a higher evolved form that serve as generals. They carry bigger spear like weapons.

Mystic Force looks like crap. Looks like that crappy knight show "Mystic Knights of Tir Na Nog". That shit failed. So will this. The japanese version "Magiranger" is a lot better. I want them to go back to their roots like the first season and have the rangers normal teens that have to hide the powers. None of this "Fantasy" shit. Keep LOTR out of Sci-fi

You mean Harry Potter Rangers? Ugh.. No. Hell I think, that Japanese 1979 Spiderman is more entertaining than the Rangers they have currently.

Especially now that Disney bought the rights to produce Power Rangers, they've made changes.

No more "destroying" monster. They capture the "bad" monsters like the spca.

No more Megazord battles that destroy large buildings.

"Good" monsters live on earth with people.

Alot of the Megazord battles are done with computer generated graphics now.

Now, don't think of me the wrong way. I gave up watching Power Rangers seriousely a decade ago, but time to time while cruising the channels on Saturday morning I happen to catch it in the middle of the episode. I'm just amazed at the changes they've made compared to the original show. Horrible.

Don't think it'll be anything even close to Time Force, and that was the laziest and worst of Saban's American reindition of Sentai. The monsters were not killed here, yet encapsulated and sent back to the future for jail, wih no GO to pass. Yet, I will still need to see the MagiRanger sentai since I heard that they bleed here.

Still, I must say with pride. In Space and Lost Galaxy > Every single Saban and Disney American incarnation( even Ninja Storm)

I saw the first episode of Magiranger (what this one is based on). There's a lot of "fantasy" elements/comedy. At one point in the first episode, the pink ranger turns herself into a small electric fan and blows away the enemies. My mouth was agape.

If Saban controlled Ninja Storm, there wouldn't be so many corny lines, terrible loop music, and boring fight scenes, and the cool previews at the end that made you want to watch the next episode, and probably, some other things...especially the rivalry between the Psychos and the Rangers. Probably, the longest in Saban's run. Heck, they were around in two incarnations. As I have brought up many times when it comes to the rangers and SRK or any forum I have been on when this topic is brought to the table.

...if anything, Disney's movement towards taking care of Saban's properties have left a terrible taste in my mouth. I still despise the Gadget deal.

I'm 22 and started watching it first day, and if Family ever got a chance to show the other incarnations that AREN'T Disney, then yeah, I'd probably watch it again from the beginning, except for Time Force, which can only be watched once. The selling point of TF was the Eric senario. Gotta feel sorry for the left out and some advice to losers who believe that someday, they'll amount to something. One of the cool aspects of Saban's take on the Rangers: Flashbacks and pretty cool story driven ones, too.

Favourites:
- Adross and Zhane fighting on a planet against hordes of aliens(In Space).
- MMPR Sentai footage from black ranger's entanglement with a monster thousands of years ago with the axe(MMPR).
-Kerone's kidnapping(In Space)

SPD looks interesting since I am hearing that the A Team Rangers are...corrupt. No Hannabal assist?

- and yeah, if I could, I'd probably watch In Space just to see the fights again between Psycho Ranger and real Ranger. Or just the Sentai version. That stuff rocked hard. Anyone got a hook up?

Only thing Dino thunder had goin was The JDF. The thing they fucked up on most was the SPD crossovers where they couldnt get him back and got a voice actor to play him. Fucker couldnt even do the yells right!

SPD had the hot female rangers...Wouldnt mind getting an orgy with those 2, Kat Manx, and the yellow ranger from Dino thunder.

I look at Mystic Force and just think they are trying too hard to make it a kid show. Magic creatures and shit like that are lame.

When disney got ahold of PR they made an ass load of changes. in SPD they actually had to edit out all the bullets. In the second episode where the Red ranger shows up to "Save the day" all the lazer blasts are really bullets. In the japanese version, the red ranger flips out and starts blasting people. When Omega ranger showed up and he slowed down time and caught all the "Laser Pellets", the japanese version he really got shot with a machine gun i think.

Yo, Iam now 22 and I sometimes watch The Power Rangers when I was in 3rd grade. The I thought it kinda sucked as I got older. But just yesterday I found out that this stuff is still on TV and its soo much better. I actually think this Power Ranger show is sweet.

I thought History was kinda lame just cause they didnt have Tommy OR Trent. Mostly Tommy cuase he is THE POWA. Its actually funny cause after Turbo started he got tired of being a PR and asked that he be written out of the show. After that happend he had hoped to stay away from PR for good. He opend up a Tae Kwon Do Studio in california and became a full time instructor.

Glad to see him come back for one last battle.

Oh and nice job with the pics. If you watch certain episodes where the red ranger is fighting you can see the smoke from the bullets that were changed into lasers. They just didnt edit them out all the way. The Mega Zord does it too. When they do the side jump and slide while firing or the rolling dodge, you see they shoot a laser and some smoke come out with it.

If anyone can hook me up with the Dekaranger versions of History and Wormhole ( i know thats notthe japanese titles but its what we turned them into) that would be awesome!

Yeah, so far I am not liking it...nothing about this or Magiranger(at least what I've seen pictures of) looks even slightly entertaining for me. I'm still wishing we could just skip this damn season. SPD was, overall, good stuff...Mystic Force...I'll just be nice and say I am extremely skeptical about it turning out to be anything close to "good". I've also heard it's even LESS episodes once again; 32!!?! They keep cutting the damn seasons back.

*more bad news: ABC Family has made the oh-so-wise decision to drop their JETIX block. Starting this fall season, JETIX will be exclusively on ToonDisney, which many people like myself don't have.(*in Nashville it's only offered on Digital Basic, and I really don't have the money to wisely drop an extra 30 or 40 bucks on my cable bill per month...fuck you, Disney.) So, the ONLY option probably after this season is to watch SLOWWWWWWW ass "regular" ABC(*they pre-empt PR for ANYTHING. A mouse could be taking a shit on a biscuit at a press conference, and ABC will pre-empt PR to go to live coverage.), or depend on downloading torrents....and no more Power Rangers Generations airings at all unless you have ToonDisney. Who's the moron over at ABC FAmily that went along with this like it was a good idea? "Throw away the little ratings we do get in the mornings for more Full House repeats? SURE! Fabulous idea."

*at least Madison looks cute...I need to see her in motion of course to compare her to the great PR sexpots that came before her.

yeah, the SPD team-up episodes were bad. The only real good thing was seeing up Kira's skirt...and that joy was killed when I saw she had black shorts on. The DT/NS cross-over was much better in just about every way.

other former ranger updates: that one black guy(Green Ranger from Lightspeed Rescue) was on that desert storm-ish military show that was on FX a few months ago. Jack Guzman(?) the black ranger from Wild Force has been on Days of Our Lives for a bit, and the lovely Erin Cahill(leader of Time Force despite not being a red ranger) will be a main character in the upcoming "Free Ride" show on Fox.

edit again---just saw more pictures...yes, Madison is really, really quite pokeable...that may just be the saving grace of this season....otherwise, I'm hoping to be pleasantly surprised.

Another update: Kat Manx is on some show on "We" that I can never remember the name of...she has quite a group of fans on rangerboard.com, and I saw the info in a thread about her.....strangely, I'm more attracted to her when she's dolled up to be "Kat", rather than her normal appearance. I'm not even a "furry" or anything, but "Kat" is much hotter/adorable than the real actress Michelle Langstone.

I cannot bring myself to watching Disney's little rangers now, or maybe I could give SPD a try, so I'll have to say American wise: Lost Galaxy with In Space. This tag lead into the final eps of the series and effected the storyline. Even Kerone was brought into the mixture.

Too bad Magna Defender didn't show face BEFORE and AFTER Lost Galaxy. He'd make a good evil ranger or probably, someone who could defeat the Psychos and Robot Rangers, single handedly.

Sentai: Ninja Storm with Dino Thunder, which is the only one I've seen, unless you all can provide others, such as the full length version of Forever Red(Sentai version).Red Ranger Overkill.

As for the Lost Galaxy comments: you could say it did, and I found it wierd since Zordon did have a God-like presence to the rangers of the other worlds, including earth. The first ep was quite wierd for me, also. Moon Training?

As a matter of fact, the Moon seems to be the most questionable battle field in the Ranger incarnations. They have had scenes there several times, with different results for atmosphere.

MMPR: Reta and friends came out, and humans used spacesuits to sustain themselves, as their forefathers did.

Lost Galaxy: Training on the moon and humans are able to breathe and run freely. Unaffected by gravity.
Wild Force: The Rangers are able to breathe and run freely here also. Unaffected by gravity.

How about the Best Fight from each dividing aspect: Saban, Disney, Sentai(Japan), Ranger(American):

EDIT: I went bananas each time they had fights in the Saban versions post-Turbo. Sometimes, you wouldn't hear any music in the background.

dino thunder had like the longest running villain to hero scenerio..you know the green ranger effect. We almost thought he was gonna make it the whole season as one..if he did he'd defintly have pushed dino thunder to number one in my book.

ninja storm wins to me because 3 important factors

1.the fighting was insane.alpha stunts really did it over the top...losts of different styles of martial arts was used. mainly because they were training at a ninja academy so you can't really stick to one style

2.the green ranger effectx2....those guys in evil mode were just too beastly. they shat on the rangers all day long. its not even like the rangers had a chance at all. too beautiful. thunder brothers were too beastly.

3.cam
i dunno if this was a wack homage to the green ranger. i know by that sentence u'd think it was a diss and why would i put him as number three. Its not really about cam as number three but cams origin story. That two parter was very badass. It showed cam that his father..has been hiding shit from him all the time. And that his father was trying to protect him and that his uncle was the main villain. i just think that side story was really good.

The 2 latter points make the cut, but the fighting? Surely, we're only pointing to Disney 's on this one, because there were better fights on PR than your NS. I can name several fights that brought in ownage and style when it comes to PR that were probably hotter than NS's(*i.e. Kai's friend goes evil (Lightspeed Rescue)).

As for the storyline, the Cam side quest was an awesome highlight, but the original concept could have been done much better by Saban if they were still soley running the show. A Ninja Academy that trains future rangers gets beasted on one attack by the forces of Luthooooorr's....nieces? I really don't think Mars and Capri were that powerful enough to accomplish such a task, even with the Kalzak, Sergane and friends company. Also, those "ninjas" didn't even put up much of a fight there. They trick the hell out of the "under dogs" we call heroes in the first few scenes, yet when they are put up to the test against REAL enemies that hardly have the same skill as the trick victims before, they suffered severly. At least kill some people, Disney.

Wild Force still felt like a Saban only product because of the Forever Red episode and the crossovers, and the music, and the storyline with backup history/flashbacks of the characters(since they had Ranger escapes before Cole joined, which was very innovative at the time). Each character joined at a different time from each other. Who could possibly forget the elusive Monkey style our little Jungle boy possessed. This style of Kung Fu has been present in PR for quite some time.

At least Saban's incorperation of Ninja abilities in the second season(or third) gave the rangers ownage power. Disney's money hungry tactics got the better of them on the american adaptation of hurricanger. Speaking of which, that was cool ep. link.

That's something I liked from the american adapt.

It's always cool to have some femine team members. In most cases up to Wild Force, there are standard two of them: one butch and one happy go lucky. Best butch has to go to Wild Force's Yellow Ranger. Sure, she looked like a 7, but she could fight like hell, and she was an ex-pilot for the US-Army.

Rarely, there is a love interest between rangers(i.e. Ashley and Andros) and/or villians(Zhane and Astronoma). Helped the story flow a little, except for Kat and Phantom Ranger's relationship. Talk about creepy.

NS just ruined it. Tori only? Girls make great ninjas.

Trihni was also cool(R.I.P) and was very devoted to her fighting ability. Did her, Jason, and Tommy ever spar against each other in MMPR? I know that Jason and Tommy bouted outside of their uniforms. Maybe Zack shouldda tried Caperoia.

Well Trent(White Ranger) froze him in amber while he was evil. Tommy was freed but his morpher and dino gem became fused as a result, so as stupid as it sounds at least they gave a deccent explanation for it. He eventually did demorph but then his Dino Gem power fucked up and then they had to fix that which made him go into a coma for an episode...yeap

At least it's not as stupid as SPD's Omega Ranger who was just a ball of freaking light until the last episode.

The Psychos were toned down here from their original evilness. If they were at full strength, they'd do more work. Notice how the show brings reference to the season/incarnation before it. Oh, and also, the villian to villian treachory.

If Disney gets the Psychos to return in Mystic Force through a graveyard special, I'd probably give it more credit.

I was totally blown away with this action sequence that they had. It was almost John Woo level with blaster fire, explosions, aerial flips, etc.

Anyways, I don't watch Mystic Force. I just wanted to know if that crazy episode was a one-time-deal or if the show still goes crazy like that. I used to watch Mighty Morphin and Ninja (first spin off--came out just before/after the first movie).

EDIT: ROFL I just remembered. I met David Yost (http://imdb.com/name/nm0949128/) (first blue ranger) at the airport once. He was visiting my hometown during Mighty Morphin. I think they were doing a screening tour to hire replacements for the Red-Black-Yellow rangers. They ended up hiring Johnny Yong Bosch (http://imdb.com/name/nm0097765/), the second black ranger, who went to my local high-school.

So the egeneral consensus is that every series after PR: In Space sucks because:

1. Zordon Died
2. No Zordon
3. No ties to past seasons...(WTF!?)

Why was Lost Galaxy bad? It's a good series only Turbo and Listspeed Rescue where the few poorly done seasons under Saban IMO.

That must've came straight out of nowhere for them, but I hail them an A for effort on LG. In Space was the Star Wars of the Rangers, and LG's story had to topple it, but failed to do so. The fact that their crossover episode affected the main storyline was a brave attempt, if anything. It's so hard to kill the pink one.

It also harvested In Space's evil against evil elements, with backstabbing, which isn't done alot with the Rangers.

- Turbo was such a blur to me.

- That was Forever Red btw. Jason couldn't have done that with MMPR incarnation's original writers.

Seeing as how much evil remains in the universe, and how Zordon never even said that his energy would destroy all evil in the universe, it can be concluded that the energy wave only destroyed the forces attacking the universe at the time.

Makes sense I guess since how almost past PR villain was attacking the universe at the time. Also:

The Ranger powers of Jason and T.J. were both previously destroyed, and there is no mention of new or restored powers (but one can assume that the Lightning Cruiser had a backup morpher, like the Storm Blaster in Power Rangers: in Space and Jason could use some leftover power like Adam did, also in In Space.) I do think every other Red Ranger in that ep still had thier powers avaliable to them.

--best fight scenes? --these come to mind:
1. the big fight on the moon in Forever Red
2. Ninja Storm team vs. Dino Thunder in part 2 of the crossover.
3. Dino Thunder -- TOMMY and the kids(unmorphed) fighting random Terranodrones at some archaelogical dig site. Principal Randall was there(looking HOT in some archaelogist outfit), and there was one spot where The TOMMY was fighting off all these guys while throwing Ms. Randall around, keeping her safe....it was great

4. Quantum Ranger Guy (Erik?) fighting off all these guys in some warehouse area, while he had the box with the Quantum powers.

5. DT/NS crossover again---the combined teams fight Elsa, Zeltrax and friends....this was quality stuff here..

*I regret not getting a Zeltrax figure...it's likely gone forever now, since his era is now 2 seasons ago. That's the unfortunate thing there...if you don't get PR toys while their season is still fresh, you will NEVER get them again, because they simply cease to exist when the new season rolls around, usually.

*sidenote---I have 30something Abarangers on my computer, and I STILL haven't come around to watching all of them. Yellow Abaranger could definitely get some Bone™, btw.

1. The Psychos Vs. In Space Rangers: All the episodes, since they went at it hard. Even fought on water.

2. Treachoron Vs. Magna Defender. Revenge is sweet.LG.

3. Jason Vs. Tommy unmorphed. MMPR goodness.

The Disney episodes have way too much talking in their fights. Watched an SPD. Lasers galore, wire-fu, but damn, why the hell are you talking so much. Smack this, smack that.

the curiosity is killing me...I'm going to have to download, even though I have some seriously low expectations for Mystic Force...

Between SPD, NS, and DT....I enjoyed NS slightly more...I still like the ninja theme a bit more than other themes that have been used for a season of PR. On a slightly more adult show, there could be amazing possibilities with a ninja-themed PR season. There are several things I liked about all 3 of these seasons though...(I thought NS was the first "pure Disney" season?)

In Dino Thunder, we had HOT ass Principal Randall/Elsa, one seriously badass evil ranger(if he remained evil for the entire season, it would've made the DT season LEGENDARY. At least they kept him "questionable" for a much longer time than any other evil ranger), the return of The TOMMY (The God Ranger...the pinnacle of awesomeness in the PR world..), one of the best secondary villains ever; Zeltrax....etc.

SPD had the best morph sequence I've seen in a long time, some powerful episodes(*the one with Sky getting the villain who killed his father, which also put up an interesting link to a previous PR season, btw (*--Sky's dad was Timeforce Red)...on a sidenote there, I'm truly surprised Disney allowed the show to state that a ranger actually died.)...they also had great chemistry between the characters/actors (*surpassed by Ninja Storm's chemistry though...that is one point where NS excelled beyond any other season, imo)...they had more cute girls, a little fanservice for those of the "furry" persuasion.(*hey, I'd hit Kat too....I'd hit it raw.) Back on the powerful episodes point...there was also the one where Sky and Red(heh, I still forget the character name) seemed to finally be bonding...and then there was a meteor situation...and Red seemingly sacrificed himself to blow up the meteor before it hit earth....Sky came back obviously with "something in his eyes"(*macho rule: men don't cry...we just get something in our eyes), and said in a very hurt tone: "SPD....Emergency...", with an anguished look on his face....awesome stuff there; Chris Violette did a great job with the Sky character, and that was a good example, imo.

-Ninja Storm, as I mentioned briefly already...had the best chemistry, imo. They just came off as the closest, and most *familial* team, with often hilarious interactions/dialogue. As someone else mentioned, they had the whole badass ranger thing going on too, except with 2 guys dominating the original 3 members on the regular....they even talked some trash on occasion. Really, this was such an awesome season for me...if I were to pick any recent era to give a "Season 2" for, Ninja Storm would be it. My only real complaints were that Lothor could've been a little more serious instead of always a "funny villain", and the whole "sensei is a gerbil" thing was absolutely terrible....goofy even by Power Ranger standards. (*and as we all know, that's saying something....we're talking about a show that had the original team fight a LAWNMOWER that transformed into a monster one day.)

EDIT**----2 people over at rangerboard have posted torrents for tonight's premiere episodes...I'm not sure of the "legality" of posting a link here though...but I'm currently downloading/seeding. (though I'm still more of a fan of the good ol' days of just downloading something off Lime or Napster or whatever.)

OMG! turbo makes this shit look like gold.

-the theme song sounds like a rip off of the black eyed peas

-the second main villain..we don't get to see the main villain yet looks like he's a bastard character from zeo

-the general in charge you can already tell is gonna turn good before the seasons end..when him and the new rangers leader(female zordon position) said they both looked familiar it was kinda obvious

-the fighting was weird and cool though..it was wicked violent, the most violent ranger fight to date. The puddies would slam against shit and they'd bounce off.

-they got 2 level costumes like when ninjor was around. they got this gay i went to king richards fair costume...includes leather arm bracelets and a vest and cape. i dont understand this costume since they can simply use their magic powers in human form. then you got rnager form..they havent used the zords yet..but from what i can tell its kinda similar to wildstorm...lots of weird zords.

-the leader also has ranger powers but her staff got jacked that transforms her

-they got cellphones to transform..they were originally fruity wands

-no black guy this season...but in place 2 asians..count em 2 asians...sadly only one of them is bandable.

-the acting is pretty shit tier on the part of the rangers

-why is it you can always spot the future red ranger 5 min into the show?

-their writing is crappy...ok in the beginning their was a crack in a giant door that released the villains but 15 min into the show an earthqauke happened and then the rangers met the leader who said the eathquake released them..but they were released prior to the earthquake....plothole.

*Gathers Thoughts*

You know, the premiere had spots where I either cringed or rolled my eyes, but it didn't leave me gagging like Magi had. Here's a quick list:

The Good:
- The actors' acting and interactions are actually, shall I say believable and somewhat entertaining? I don't know their filmography but they were better at premiere than many other casts. Certainly their acting was more mature than SPD. I'm not saying they're oscar worthy, but at least they were trying. And I think they can get better.
- The lengthened the capes - Ok, I can live with that.
- The idea of an apprentice - personally I Claire was the most palatable - she fits her role. People have been calling her a female version of Boom from SPD.
- The cast is on the attractive side. Sans Chip maybe
- Udonna was cool. A female mentor/leader done right
- Koragg, the Knight Wolf retained his badassness

The Bad:
- Explosions, explosions, and more explosions. Can we PLEASE cut it with the pyros? I know Disney likes blowing things up, but sheesh - it completely takes out the impact (don't mind the pun) when you DO need to blow something big.
- Same with the wirework - I would really really really love to see a fight take place while the rangers and the baddies all have BOTH their feet on the ground for the whole time. Wirework isn't bad, but - it's way to much YAAAAAAHHHHHHH stuff.

The Neutral:
- Morphing sequences - they were ok. Not bad, not amazing either.
- I'll give it that Nick the new Red is different from Jack in that the latter was like "I don't want anything to do with it." Yes, Nick said the same thing, but when pushed farther, it was lack of confidence - sooooo, I guess Kalish tried to put a different spin on the Reluctant Red. That being said, Nick convinces me more than Jack did.
- "I believe in Magic" - that's almost as bad as "Omae Yuuki da... and Atarashi jumon!!!" In fact, I hope they don't do that in MF...
-The Morphing Calls
- Vida being punk/emo. "OMFG I HATE PINK!" She's deccent looking but Madison is lighyears ahead of her.

OP: That song, while I hate it - is damn catchy...Dang it. Also, I never thought they'd pull off a Rap style PR theme - but somehow it works, regardless of whether I liked it or not. The sequences - they're ok, nothing amazing.

Verdict: I'll prolly keep watching this, as I wasn't absolutely hating it, but I did see more potential for something and it's too early to tell. Premiere rating : 6.5/10

Power Rangers in Space = all others except OG.

I mean, damn. It had it all, pretty much: A badass one-man army Ranger a la Tommy (Andros), a hot chick (Ashley), crazy-ass fights, people actually died, and an ending that tops anything else they've shown. Plus it actually had a badass story for a PR show, with the whole Astronema = Karone thing, Andros and Ashley's relationship (one of the funny things about PR, they didn't care about showing kissing and the like), Zhane being in a coma, etc. In the end, Andros was prepared to KILL HIS OWN SISTER to save the world...that, in my pre-teen/early teenage mind, was hard-fuckin'-core. If it weren't for Saban trying to keep milking the cash cow, you KNOW that would've been the end of the entire series.

Didn't mention the Zhane/Astronema date, huh?:rofl:

Or the crossovers: Justin, Blue Centurian, Phantom Ranger, Adam, and Masked Rider made appearances. Tommy should have had a shot at this. Screw the turtles.

Or Psychos either: highlight of the series. They even had human forms. Ultimate rivals and alot beaster than the A-Squad. These guys lasted for two incarnations.

Or the treachery. Generals killing generals to extract information and/or gaining power.

Or the general with 9 lives or so. That dood was the sh!t. The rangers had to kill him. The other bad guys had to kill him. Everybody had to kill him at least once.

Or Ecliptor. Black as night.

Or the super jumping noise. Airplane style!

Or the music. Symphonic style of noise.

Or the fighting.

I could go on and on.

I swear, I gotta see the Sentai of this.

EDIT: So...there are no african heritage rangers in this one, too? what is that?

So, I finally watched it...

Going in with low expectations, this wasn't that bad...so far it's "so-so" or "ok" for me. The acting was only decent though, imo...especially compared to SPD. Something about these characters just comes off as forced and artificial...and that red-head guy got QUITE annoying immediately. He's clearly supposed to be one more element of comic relief, but Clair and Xander so far have done a much better job on that role(Xander not so much, but it did come off as amusing when he tried on two occasions to *reason* with the monsters, winning them over with the Xander Charm...heh, that was good)...so what exactly is the point of his existence?

Morph sequence is rather nice...and the capes aren't as ridiculous and silly-looking as I initially thought they would be. Still, I think they really only looked good in the morph sequence, like when the ranger flies up like a typical superhero.

*good thing they transformed the wands into cell.phone morphers...cuz those wands looked like something you get for 1.25 a piece at Party City :rofl: Bargain-bin-looking Halloween shit...get out of here with that mess....cell.phones once again for the win.

TnA Factor --ok, Madison = :wow: Amazing, she is...simply adorable! She immediately ranks as the top piece of ass for this season....I was instantly smitten with this one, and she will go down as another PR Legendary cutie. The face is too cute, the smile is fantastic, and that lovely dark hair....ohhh dark hair always owns my very soul.

The other girl...Mystic Force Pink...she could get Bone™ too...she's quite nice, I just think Madison is on a higher level.

Claire = yep, she could get a good dicking too. It's really too bad she will probably be wearing 16 lbs. of clothing for the whole season, thanks to her character. We'll be lucky to even catch a glimpse of some leg. Back to the Lovely Madi, I'll have to think about it for awhile to rate exactly where she stands in the rankings of Legendary Power Ranger Sexpots. She is truly something serious.

They don't sell the "jump in the air after explosion" all that well. Thats one of the first things I look for in openers. And the first time they do it, one of them was smiling.

I like Madison, but Vida has potential. They had her in some of the worst clothing I've ever seen on the show.

I still would have preferred another season of SPD.

^that looks damn good...apparently it's still too early to expect anyone to have subtitled this new one yet...right? I stopped watching about midway, simply because I'd rather watch it when I can at least read what the characters are talking about.

With regard to games...why can't someone just shamelessly rip off the Viewtiful Joe engine, and slap the PR license on it? They keep throwing out PR games....yet all of them just look half-ass, and nothing even close to fun. Meanwhile, Capcom/Clover got it right immediately with VJ, which went on to be one of my favorite games of all time. Either use the VJ gameplay mechanics....or back in the day they could've just used the TMNT arcade game format...multiplayer sidescrolling beatemup action with zord-sized boss segments or something....

*I still have not watched the PR: Turbo movie yet, and I've had the dvd since around 2 months ago.

I remember the Power Rangers fighting game on SNES. Power Rangers Fighting Edition. I think there was a code to get the Thunder zord or something.

Anyway, Boukenranger looks pretty cool. I don't know about the zord weapons though.. (a pick-ax and a shovel? Hahahahaha.) The golem/monster that they fought looked exactly like a boss from Shadow of the Colossus though.

Well, all PR fans should've seen this about 20 times by now...but the Mighty Morphin PR movie will be on ABC Family tomorrow morning, and I think it will be followed by the ABCFam premiere of Mystic Force, for those who didn't download the torrent.

*again...it must really suck if you happen to be a PR fan with no high speed internet, and no basic cable. Regular ABC will probably be at least a month or so behind as usual...at least once they start pre-empting episodes like they always do. During SPD, I just completely gave up looking at regular abc for PR. In fact, I think they STILL have not caught up to the rest of the world regarding SPD...they haven't made it to the finale just yet....that's damn pitiful.

"Regular" abc is finally up to the last episode. The great battle with A-Squad was shown yesterday...and I'm just now noticing their helmets were modified helmets from the In Space era. I'm also reminded of the pleasant surprise of A-squad just being corrupt...it's surprising to me, as I figured they would explain it in a way that made them forgiveable....like the usual child's show reason of : "Well, they were obviously being brainwashed by Grumm" It's good that they were allowed to be a simple case of good guys "gone bad" or rogue. Unfortunately it was quite predicatble though, since way back in the first episode, Bridge scanned them and said "Something's wrong.."

SPD is another one that could really use another season...mostly because there was a lot of potentially interesting things laid out that were never fully developed...like Sam not having a body(*lame, imo...but only because they didn't do anything with it...what, Sam has no problem with the loss of his body?! Where was his connection/bond with Z!? They totally dropped the ball with this character, and he became little more than a weapon. It's a sad state of affairs when that little ROBOT DOG had more character/personality than this season's "extra ranger".) Besides...another season would mean more Monica May to look at. :sweat: got sidetracked for a bit..Monica is so lovely...but as I was saying...there were other things to develop, such as the conflict/jealousy between Jack and Sky, Sky's whole issue with his dead father, Mora's past, Jack's slightly, potentially romantic tension with Syd, etc.

*oh how I dream of a softcore dvd "Girls of Power Rangers" special...starring Monica, Jessica Rey, "Kat", Monica Louwrens, "Madison" and her sis, Erin Cahill, Amy Jo, Traci Lynn Cruz, etc. That would be jerkin material for the ages.

*yeah...and Madison's speech with Nick at the end of the Mystic Force premiere....I hope that's an indication that we'll finally get some more cute romantic tension between characters....I love that stuff sometimes...but at the same time I know it would make me jealous(yeah, of a fictional character) because Madison is cuteness personified.

Anyway what I saw seemed like crap, no token black guy really bites, the actors seemed crappier than usual and they seemed to try to bite Harry Potter too much with that 'I believe' shit.

I won't even try to occasionally tune in like I did with previous seasons.

Nick the red ranger was wearing fucking Eyeliner and shadow! WTF is up with that!? The "I believe" shit was stupid as hell. The flying on brooms made me want to pull my eyes out. The action was sub-par but i under stand why.

I just got done watching hte first 2 eps and i must say...this series will probably make the japanese stop giving Disney the rights to episodes. They made this shit look like Harry potter with lasers! The only part i liked was the "Undead" enimies and the Wolf dude.

I have yet to watch ep 3 im about to start it, but i just had to tell my opinion on this. I am so dissapointed in Disney...Saban should have never sold it to them...

the whole thing with the red ranger not wanting to be the leader then him coming to the rescue is a bit played out. Hes got that whole "Imma bad ass that rides a chopper" image but hes a fucking emo kid.

The whole idea of a "Magical Forest" is stupid as hell. They are trying to make this series apeal to the Harry Potter/ LOTR fans and ending up killing the whole feel of Power Rangers

Im out to watch Ep 3...hope it doesnt suck as bad as the first 2. The next Sentai ranger show is jsut about to start in japan so it will be a while until we get a new series...

Episode 3 EDIT: Glad to see they finaly got Zord....None of that "Titan" Shit. THEY'RE CALLED ZORDS!!! At least they formed into one like the old school. Red ranger is still a D-bag, Green ranger wanting to talk his way out of the fight is stupid; it always fails. The Mysitc Racers are gonna have George Lucas on their asses. Just them carrying Brooms made me wanna vomit, then the "We have to go learn spells!!" part was way too harry potter-ish for me. Not that I'm a harry potter basher, just seems to be they are making it a bit too much like HP so the kids will like it. Teaching them that being the same is good...

From what I'm reading Mystic Force does pretty much sound like Disney trying to catch some HP heat for Power Rangers, which seems like a shitty idea. heh, we're stuck with the magic, as that's the theme of this whole season....so it's not going away.

*so finally I see what all the "emo ranger" discussion has been about for the past 5 months or so...I never bothered to read what people were saying about it, or following the link. This has been one bit of internet culture I just didn't care to know about...more out of laziness, really. That was actually some decent production quality there....where did it come from?

*Mystic Force theme song actually grew on me...but it's nowhere near the best themes though. SPD is still my #1...then there were the excellent Zeo, Ninja Storm and In Space, and Morphin....those are my favorites.

*I've heard good things about this 3rd episode over at rangerboard...but I may as well wait 'til saturday now.

Hi, my name's Bear...nice thread.

- Finally caught the first two eps, and I now have a thing for Claire. She is quite attractive in a Kate Hudson way. Better than her DT role. In a way, I feel for her and that alone saves this show. Being the clutzy apprentice and all, and a blonde for that matter, two strikes in and pow... She's the cutest Alpha-type character ever. Chipp could hit that with his Gandor ability, since the lead is on Madison. She's feelin' him. haha

I could see right through her. She's...an...aussie! The head movements(not mine) are a dead give-away.

If she does not become a ranger anytime soon, I'll probably hate Disney for life. Bet she's really powerful also. It'd be cool to see Udona get back her powers, come close to death, and before she goes to heaven, she gives Claire her powers. I'd probably cry for the first time at a television show this millen.

This is Disney, is it not?

- The fighting? well, uhh....not the best. Koichi Sakamoto isn't here at all, if anything. So many wire-fu and explosion tricks. I nearly got dizzy. Not as good as the original(MMPR) and doesn't hold up to the pinnacle, which is the god teir 0 In Space. I despised the SPD fighting(Lasers everywhere, like hand to hand much?), but now, they have been replaced by MF. Wouldn't be surprised if the Mystic Knights of Tear Ra Nog showed up out of the blue and did them better.

These kids are getting thrown like rag dolls on a children's network and surprisingly, there is no blood on them in civilian form. The worst beating I've seen in civilian form on any Ranger show. Even the original pilot. ORIGINAL PILOT. You must be joking. Xander didn't bleed any? And Chipp? he must've got it the worst.

- Maddison's aiight. Less of a geek than she previously let on.

- Story? Probably good, if the Wolf Ranger is not trusted enough later on. The master is a question mark. Just hearing the reference, yet not seeing him is pontentially cool enough. It's quite intriguing because usually, we'd see the main villian(with the exception of Dark Spectre, whose been the ultimate evil, yet dies at the mid-number of the incarnations list), yet here, it's solely based on these sub-bordinates. Again, Lost Galaxy's betrayals were more timely and less obvious at the beginning, or even when the new baddies made the scene.

- Presentation?...come back...five year. Disney TRIED the preview thing here, but it just didn't cut it...at all. It lost its' purpose. I don't feel revved up to watch another episode...unless Claire is there.

- guess us black folk or other color people can't use magic....there goes the neighbourhood. That dissappoints me. At least bring back Walter Jones or something.

That was an alright episode there. It's good to see Chip was slightly toned down to just "mildly annoying" status. Yeah, Claire is definitely a piece...I love how she usually looks kinda frazzled...look at the mussed up hairstyle...it looks like she just got back from having some wild beastsex. That look is instant hotpoints in my book.

Udonna---she strikes me as the type who plays the old lesbo warden in one of those "womenInPrison" films.

Once again, Xander's attempts to reason with the bad guys got a laugh out of me. Hopefully this will continue as like a running "bit" or joke on the show, because it works for me...of course as long as they don't run it into the ground by having him do that every time...so far, it's still funny. It's one of those things where you see it coming...yet it's still amusing.

Maddy continues to look absolutely delicious. I would do such things to her...such things... :sweat:

-oh yeah, them becoming the zords is cool, imo. It's something I would've done if I had creative control of a show like this. It's an interesting break from having the team pilot large vehicles all the time.

People on IMDB fuck things up so bad with power rangers. For the longest time they had Amy jo Johnson ( Kimberly old school pink) listed as Udonas role.

I think Billy, Tommy and Jason being in this is bullshit.

For one, back in PR Zeo, when the rangers were turned into little kids Billy and the Alien Rangers worked out some machine to turn them back into teenagers. Except Billy took too big of a shot from the machine and turned him into an old man. The Aquatarian Rangers (alien rangers) took Billy back to Aquatar (home planet) so he could drink this Ubar 1337 water that would fix his age. He went to Aquatar and chose to stay there with the Aqua Rangers. He never came back to earth.

as for Tommy....He was pissed about coming back for Dino Thunder, but did it any way. From PR news about him, he is said to have sworn off power rangers for good.

Jason...Gay porn aside, I dont see him ending up in Briarwood.

EDIT: I forgot about Zack. Walter Jones, the actor that plays him, is listed to do a voice over for episode 6. I really doubt this will happen. BUt maybe its a "History of PR" like they do every series.

it seem like former rangers dont really want to admit that they were rangers ones, amy jo was in I love the 90's the 93 episode I think, she said that she was soo embarrased about being on that show. its not like if she was in porno.

why would tommy be mad about coming back. no one forced him to come back. he has two martial arts schools opening a third soon.that makes no sense

i haven't run into any trouble with imdb so i expect to see it.

Or 2nd Season(only to reference Tommy's involvement or the rangers in general. This is a japanese show, btw. They'd have to do it somewhere.)

...I could stand corrected if you count recap flashbacks. Besides this new incarnation and the rexiness of sexiness that is Miss Claire, I don't watch any of the Disney's...

Nice, I'll watch it soon. But does it beat the japanese team up of Dino Thunder and Ninja Storm? I forgot the japanese names. That team up was great. One ranger riding another like a skateboard. "Triangle Break" attack where one of them pops an enemy's bone out. That's a tough act to follow.

ohhh ya. i think thats their way to try and connect the power ranger world. Like the only way we know their even in the universe is cauase of the team ups. after galaxy ended shit seem like gundam wing where we're only gonna do parallel world stories.
