I was there a couple months ago during that huge piracy bust. Sucks because I drove 5 hours from Montreal and wanted to pick up a few Asian movies just to find out they were all shut down for the day...
LOL, awesome. Whenever I'm too lazy to download something or I want to watch it on my television, I used to just drop by Pacific Mall, because it's cheaper than renting movies. And now the whole city's spooked. And I'm not going to goddamn Brampton to pick up movies.

I always love staring disapprovingly at the white people that have wandered in, even though half of them are anime watching, bubble tea drinking, Asian women loving fags and I'm whiter than them anyway. But my SKIN is yellow, and that's all that counts.

It has the worst designed parking lot in the universe, populated by the worst drivers in the universe. A winning combination, always.

And yes, a ridiculous amount of jailbait.

Cheapy Entertainment in Brampton is a great store to go to for legit HK dvds and the owners are pretty knowledgeable people when it comes to the stuff they're selling.

I found one store in Pacific Mall that sells legit HK dvds (HK movies and Korean and Japanese movies from HK dvd companies).

Oh yeah, I also bought two Tekken 5 Hori sticks (the Tekken 4/Soul Calibur II style) for $40 each from one videogame store while all the other videogame stores in that mall sell them for $45 each.

Try being a brown guy at pac-mall.. haha. It isn't all that bad though, seeing as that for some reason, the entire security force there is brown. Wonder how that came to be.

I got my ps2 modded there for a 100 bucks flat, good deal at the time. Seriously, all gaming stuff should only be bought here.

Also, Orbit owns.

That old dude is soo damn cool. Probably the reason why I'd go back to find Shaw Bros. movies. Sells em by the crapload. Sadly, I bought the entire Once Upon A Time In China series before they remade it. Still, a good find.

If you're lucky, you could get movies there before they hit videos. Speaking of which, did you go there lately? Looking to acquire Fearless and Sha Po Lang.

I don't know why everyone hates that parking lot, i've never had a problem finding parking there. You just park on the side by kennedy, there's a door right there anyway. Parking at yorkdale is much worse.

I Personally go there for orbit and the culture experince, i love culture (since i have such a mixed background:Turkish,Syrian,mongolian)

chinese culture is so cool

also i like to do a bit of shopping (clothing/games),
the gurls there,
The food is amazing i love the noodleds and the pastry shop by the bank across the side of the mall.
i like to cut my hair there,
and just walk around.

but its weird that the secuirty guards are arabic and pakistains/indians (some body mentiond that earlier)
(you would think its chinese security guards)

Before the raid, Pacific Mall was probably the best place I've ever been to for picking up older PS2 games. With torrents taking such a high priority in games though, Pac Mall's essentially useless in that regard now.

As for ORBIT, don't kid yourselves, it's the best arcade in Canada by a longshot. When Marc was running it last year, I don't even know a better arcade anywhere. It was always well maintained with instant fixes to any button and/or stick issues and had just about any of the latest games. It's also host to some of the best players in the entire country.

Food court isn't that great IMO but the viet (I think it's viet) next door on the left side of the food court has the best curry chicken I have ever had that wasn't in a carribean restaurant.

Yeah, but it's still ONE place in ONE state. If EVERY state had one, then that would be cool. Since a limited group of members here have to be in that ONE state to experience that ONE mall, it counts as matchmaking. How bout if I made a Tampa Lanes thread here? Same thing.

Ahh Pacific Mall.

Its a nice place, though I dont think anybody should buy any electronic stuff over there.

The parking lot isnt bad, though it gets filled up very quickly.

Ratio1beatdown, his girl, Jiggabry and I were smoking joints inside the parking lot, and this asian couple parked right beside us, thinking that we were gonna leave. Even after we told them, they stayed the whole time, waiting for us to leave, while Roger was spewing, understandbly so, mad insults towards them and about how everybody gets retarded when they want to park at Pacific Mall. Funny shit, more of a u had to be there moment though.

Then we went up to Orbit and decimated the competition....good shit.

as for this thread being here, I dont see how it could bother anybody, while also sparking curiosity about other venues in the world that people havent heard of.
