I know exo is ,Dj and his brother will go cuz they always do.I saw shin takuma at the last one and ciddypoo.Just wondering who else.. Parryall said he might and so did nas from blacksburg.Just wondering so i can chill with them:wgrin:

In any event, I'll be there as long as I can find a ride. I need to finish my unfinished 3S tournament...among other things.

Hmm. I might not be able to show up for this one. My girlfriend's classes just ended this week, and I'm going to pick her up and shuttle her over back to VA. Heading out tomorrow, not sure if I'll be back and in the right mindset to be attending. :looney:

The event was pretty fun. Not as big of a turnout as last time (maybe 16 people at most) but it was a lot of fun. The tournament didn't get started till like literally FOUR hours after the start of the event. People who got there way late and assumed they weren't in time for the tournament still made it in time for the tournament. It was funny shit how long it took for 3S to get started up. Luckily we had all night to finish so it was no big deal. Tournament got done before 11:00 so that was pretty good.

We all played Round Robins in 2 seperate pools where the top 2 players in each pool would proceed to the 4 man finals. The sets were played best 2 out of 3 matches (2 out of 3 rounds) for everyone that was in your pool. The results were tallied and top 2 in each were to go to finals. Ramza and I (I myself won 11 matches to 4, only lost a set to Ramza himself) placed top 2 in our brackets and 10X and Exodus placed top in the other bracket.

There was no real upsets to speak of or nothing like that. Basically the tourney ran the way I figured it would. Me getting close to finals and not actually winning and more of me dying to Ken players. I was placed up against Exodus in the semi final set and he ran me 3-0 with me only winning one round in the last set. He used SA3 Ken all the way through. His Ken is good stuff. He knows how to mix it up and knows when to throw the LP DP's. I barely lost to 10X's Ken in the loser's finals. Too bad we didn't get any of those matches on tape. They were some fun matches.

Finals ended up being between Ramza and Exodus. Exodus pretty much swept the matches but Ramza's Makoto still put up a good fight. Exodus decided to switch up to Yun for the matches in that set. Overall good matches and look forward to seeing everybody at the next C3.

Yea man, exdous was rocking that dudley and on the side I asked him about a few pointer and he told me that it was about the excution of your gameplay and everything will fall later on. So now I'm in training mode every chance I get...but the tourney was Ok

Well...I know Exodus could definitely give you some pointers on Yang but I don't know how much Akuma he plays. Generally any advice from Exodus should be good advice since he knows the game so well. We gotta get some offline in though for sure. Training mode only does so much for you. Gotta learn to adapt to startegies...that's how you win tournaments.
