So I took back my razr and got a sony ericsson.. I much prefer it. I was just curious are there any tricks to getting ringtones on it... what kind of USB connection/chord should I get... software? links?

Installs easy and works great so far. Should work fine for getting ringtones on a phone. Bluetooth is a good way to go.

I just found out you can drag it onto "the photo card thing" and it will upload it as an mp3 or something... I still need to do more research, but interesting none the less...

i have one of those bluetooth adapters on my pc but i use my mac more since it already has a bluetooth antenna built in. but i think the bluetooh way is teh best way to get rintones... since you know how to make your own ringtones now, just send it through your bluetooth.

Various reasons... no flash, you had to hold the button to record, the buttons, the operating system, lock-ups, etc. In conclusion... I hated it... So yeah, I was planning on either getting the sliver or the newer sony ericsson, but upon futher inspection both phones were not for me. Then I remembered my girlfriend had an extra one laying around so she just gave it to me... the guy at cingular put it all together for me and I got a 1 year contract for basically nothing. I plan on buying a new S710a on ebay soon so I can return the phone back to me lady. What a good day.

But yeah, I still need a bit more info if anyone has this phone. Like what should I buy and do with it to basically use it for what it is good for?

ur best best for file transfer is to buy a cable or more ideally a bluetooth adapter... the are quite cheap nowadays.

I bought a Razr back in September, had washed my old phone accidently. Took that piece of shit back and exchanged it in less than 24 hours.

I like the RAZR. I have had no problems with it. I have owned it for a year and have purchased a few of its newer incarnations too and they're good.

Well.....with the exception of the v3x, which is highly overpriced, and it met death via my chair in office running it over........the V3 and V3i are really good phones.

SE phones though are really good. I like my k750i best along with my Moto SLVR and E398 (customization heaven!).

The only batch of Motorola phones that suck the fat one is all of Nextel's lineup.

Congrats airswish. I have a s710a too, this is the attention whore phone. Haha, I get comments most of the time, whenever I pull it out. Make sure to get animated themes, to make the phone look damn good. Camera is awesome too, and the flash is bright enough to be a fucking flashlight. Only bitch about it is the battery life though, make sure you do the initial drain/charge fully. Even then the battery won't last too long. Car charger is good.

it should have came with software and a usb and memory(32mb)

i would say trade up to the the w600i (better battery, music player, smaller size)

i still have my s710a (big screen, better camera)

or wait for the w810i (improvement on everything.)

Wil... and DaDesiCanadian I was curious if I could either buy the accesories that came with the phone from your or if you had a link or idea about how I could do this. See my ladyfriend gave me her old s710a and I only have the ac adapter and the phone. I would much prefer to have everything that original came with the phone. So if you have any bargin links or ideas please help a brother out. Also, I am missing the magicgate card. So yeah, either pm me or hit me on AIM, Airswish99. Thanks a ton.
