........i'm too pissed to talk about this team. My best weapon against this team is storm. The commando AAA is a bitch though, and i can't really rush it down with my magneto (my best player) :mad: . Oh yeah, i lost 10 consecutively on my DC against my cousin. :mad:

Actually, doom + commando was still giving me a hard time :( His jumping photon arrays are harder to wavedash under than i thought.

Use cyclops. And dont EVER be flashy against strider. Every hit against him is valuable, and he has low stamina.

on point use sent so his chip doesnt do to much damage and u got super armor or cable and ahvb doom to death and strider aint nothin storm works well. just hail strom nad LA at ramdon

i keep hearing that felicia is good against s/d, because of her sandsplash super.... goes full screen and its fast, plus strider take damage pretty bad
Use Mag or anybody better to snapback Strider into Commando and rush him.:evil:
If he switches back to Strider or Doom, do a infinte. ;)

Blackheart AAA won't do anything. He won't even get a chance to come in, and if he does, he's gonna get hit, lots.
Sentinel takes even more chip than anyone else since he takes ALL the rocks, and he's too big to do anything to get out.
Cable's an awful choice as well. Against cable, Strider is RARELY on the same side as Doom, so cable has no chance of an AHVB.
Hailstorm isn't a remarkably good choice either since she has to glide all the way to the back of the screen, and strider has an easy time telethrowing her out of it.
Felicia IS a good choice against strider/doom. Sandsplash clears the floor of all the crap that strider and doom fill it with, plus it's a kick super so you don't have any chance of accidently pushblocking.

yeah dont listen to blind side.hes thinkin of just playion against doom.hes never faced a s/d before.but ive never heard of someone usin felicia.probably cause i never read up on s/d.

and with sent im say'n if he gets u n a combo if wount hert as much cazof super armor. and ur right about the rocks thing.
and cable thats y u have a good asist. so if u ahvb and he telaprots to the other side u already called ur asist(like doom/BH)plus i would rather lose my sac my cable 4 his doom. caz then strider is way ez'r to fight agenest.and u can always dch n to another char.to save cable
and the same with storm. thro a qcf-lk+asist and hail storm.and strider as2 block. and anyway sence storm glides thro the air and moves back wount strider telaport n front of her??
and strider can ttelaport over the sand and atack with a hp/hk

There are a couple of options....
-sentinel- yes he takes mad chip damage cause he is a big target, but the object of using him effectively against s/d, is to not let doom, or stri start the series. d+fp, fly, unfly, d+fp works wonders......
-using tron as an assist is good too...she will neutralize most of the series with her projectile assist, then depending on what point character you have (long projectile characters work best) u can take out strider.
-spiral-if she has a good assist...i use doom...you can setup traps to out-trap strider/doom. She can also teleport affectively against strider to make him waste meter, and not take chip at the same time....also, if you have a good mixup game with her teleports, you can switch angles for strider, making it difficult for him to call ouros.
-cable dies to this team...all strider has to do is throw out the long grenade/bomb, and it will neutralize ahvb.
and no..this is not theory fighting...cause ive used these tactics against spiderdan and clock.

first off, you simply can't effectivly rushdown this team. the s/d trap is in fact a trap which means you will spend most of your time blocking. any team with capcom's AAA means no rushdown; exept if you've got some quick hands with storm and can go over all the nonsense on the ground. the entire trap is almost all on the ground, exept where you are when strider goes after you with teleport, ouroboros. i try and either send out sent's ground assist and use that as a sheild while cable jumps back and wacks doom's assist a good one. sent will spare you enough time to punish his assist given your stuck in one corner and strider is between you and the doom, you must set your window up to allow sent to sheild you and ahvb doom. but you still have to worry about strider. if he gets loose from your beams and gets behind you try to dhc into storms hail or the good ol hsf the second sent is gone. this is really a trial and error aproach but it keeps you clear from capcom for the most part and with good timing you should be doom free. i haven't found strider to be too dificult with out doom after that.

Not much you can do really.
Do your best to have an invincible aaa{cut through doom and allow some breathing room as he starts the trap}, a solid dhc, a character who can kill with one touch and actually land this hit{cough storm/sent}, pick dr.doom/storm/aaa and watch strider be very very careful:lol: do a combination of these things and you should be ok.
Your best bet is human error with the strider/doom trap, just take the chip when you have to, play it cool, try and escape when you can and look for little openings or moment's when you can punish doom{call sent then typhoonXXhail every now and then}.

BH AAA doesn't do jack shit against Strider/Doom. If you pick Blackheart vs S/D whether it's for his assist or for his point game, you must really want to get raped. For the most part, strider is either rushing your ass down, trapping, or tossing animals. Any one of those three options will nail blacheart if you ever call him out. BH will only nail Doom if Strider is just calling Doom while turtling like a ho.

Wrong. Strider's teleport has startup and he will get nailed by the sandkick if you try teleporting. Felicia isn't going to be throwing out random sand supers either. She'll be sandkicking the ouroboros on reaction. If strider wants to start the ouroboros on a grounded felicia, he has to get her in blockstun first or make sure she gets hit by something.
