...was with the Sixth Sense.

Those of us who read spoilers a lot have simple reasons. One, we cant resist. Two - words on a screen don't hold the power of an actor, a scene, or little individual things people may like.

But sometimes, a spoiler may hit a bad spot. It would have been better if I didn't know the secret to Sixth Sense before I saw it.

All of us who can't resist a spoiler ran across a movie like that.

What was yours?

The X3 spoiler.

I just had to read it, and was pissed about the choices.

Hmm. I read it too, but I'm less swayed. I still can't wait to see the movie next weekend.

Million Dollar Baby. I never got an exact spoiler, but I kept hearing that something bad happens, so I just knew she would end up dead or effectively dead.

See, I just don't quite get this. Isn't it part of the whole point to be genuinely surprised by a great plot twist, or just something generally unexpected? I don't like reading a spoiler for anything....unless it's something I just don't care about in the first place, and even that would be rare, as it would mean I most likely wouldn't care to read anything regarding it.

I can't fully explain the compulsion myself either, but great plot twists sneak up on you. They just happen to do that in text form too. The Sixth Sense is the only thing I could think of right now, but I'm sure there's one or two others.
So all of these "hits" are unexpected.

the plot twist in sixth sense wasn't that hard to figure out. Like all of M. Night Syhmsmamamamamalan's movies.

I dont read spoilers a lot, but I've had a lot of times when people just spoil crap for me, to the point where I dont even watch it or just scowl at them for a w hile

If we're just strictly talking about movies, Coach Carter. The way my friend just came home and just randomly spoiled the movie for me really pissed me off, especially s ince I was gonna see it the next day.

When BJ and Tyler won the Amazing Race, I was at work, and when I came back my sister told me in the middle of watching the show. Ugh.

And then of course 24, way too many spoilers to even get into. Let's just say I don't logon MSN till I see it.

Well, before the whole ERODELBMUD DELLIK EPANS some bitch got me with SURUVES DELLIK XIRTALLEB and I was pissed.

I felt for the poor woman who was waiting months for the book to have that happen.
Whats worse, is that the 6th book was ruined on Gamefaqs, those bastards.

I guess, you always could've watch the last two episodes halfway through the series and it still would've made sense.

I guess if someone had spoiled FMA, I would've been sad, both series and movie.

..and I totally agree with the guy talking about The Usual Suspects, that movie totally blew my mind.

I can't stand spoilers....especially since one of my friends has a habit of TRYING to tell you something.

"Oh, no no, you have to let me tell you about this one part....it's tight! You never see it coming!"
