I'm trying to come up with a decent system for choosing which avs make it to the hall of fame and which don't, but right now it's just whatever I like.

Well I'd like to say that week by week we vote one avatar in, but polls and IMM do not mix well. That being said, I think it'd be better off to have an open discussion as to what constitutes being in the hall of fame and what doesn't, and once that's decided upon, to then start discussing, one by one, which avatars to vote in.

Yeah, it's a lengthy process, but if we're all serious about this then let's do it.

Those avs were all good, except even though I know that an incredible amount of detail and work went into the cuckoo clock... The border ruins it for me. It just comes off as tacky, although that was probably intentionaly seeing as its a cuckoo clock.

Well the cuckoo clock was made for the ABC challenge around Christmas, so it's a given that the lights were put on there. Even though it's out of context now (jesus that was six months ago already) it doesn't detract from the sheer amount of detail and work put into it.
