Ok, this has got to be the most fucked up show I have ever, ever seen. I first watched the first few episodes a few months ago but didnt keep going because it was really depressing and devoid of relatable characters. But it stuck with me and I dived back in, watching a few episodes from season 4 and now I am back finishing up the first season.

So back to the fucked up - so Beecher is the everyman we are supposed to identify with - gets his ass tattood with a swaztika in the first ep, gets degraded by J.J. constantly, then I come back in in the 4th season and all of a sudden he is trying to do something nice for J.J.......and then JJ has his freakin son killed! his little kid! wtf

this show also rocks because almost every actor from The Wire is in it at some point (not to mention law & order).

so talk about Oz, but try not to spoil stuff, especially the last season

Ya the show is bad ass, the creator of it said he may have a new oz series in the future if he does it's going to be all new though.A lot of my favorite Villians are in Oz epsecially Adebisi, season 4 till the end SAID was TOP TIER imo.Remeber though too before these actors were on the wire or law and order this is the show that made them famous. It was the first show that I ever hated a NEO NAZI, lawl damn that schillinger he's probably the worst/evilest villian there was on that show lol.

My favorite Crazy characters are probably cryill O Reily and Miguel Alvarez aka the Air plane Cop who elbowed by Bauer in Season 5 of 24.

Man I miss watching that show alot it's a shame it had to end after 6 seasons.

I have 5 seasons on DVD. Im waiting for that last one. This show is great. On e of the best shows ever to be on TV. I tried to make and Oz thread a couple of years ago but nobody was having it. Maybe SRK is ready this time.

My favorite characters are Alverez and Schillinger. Alvarez always has the worst luck and Schillinger is the perfects bad guy character.

Most memorable and interesting part of the show for me(sorry no names) was the relationship between the 2 white brothers. One of them was a main character. Then his retard brother gets arrested on purpose to be near him. The story of how his brother became retarded is crazy. they had a flashback of a funeral home and some confrontation took place where it shows the retard was hardcore and holding shit down before he got smashed over the head. that was really eery and tragic.

it was the o'reilly brothers. he(cyril) didnt get arrested to be with him. he was arrested because ryan told him to kill dr. nathan's husband because he was in love with her. he was then put in emerald city with his brother(not without being taken advantage of by schillinger first). and he got retarded because of that blow to the head he took.

just finished season 2 the other night. riley certainly fucked his brother up. also couldnt believe poet came back to jail like that. And do we find out if schillinger really killed beecher's wife or if he was just bluffing? that would be too much. Also schillinger raping riley's brother...wtf

oh man.....JJ fucks beecher up so bad. I think they use him as a character that goes in as your every day nice guy, and prison changes him for the worst.

WOW i'm surprised this thread is being made now n not years ago anyways i started watching it since season 1 n lol yeah it's opened my eyes but it's definitely 1 of the undisputed best shows of all time if not the very best theres just a gritty real feel to it that u love and the character conflicts are just too good.
