I Got Robbed Today

At my fuckin gym at that.

Just a regular day. I go to the gym after I leave the office. i hit the weights and i go back to the locker area to get dressed and all seemed well in Sherwood forest. then when i decide to get some cash from the bank i realize.

EVERY PIECE OF I.D., ALL MY CREDIT CARDS AND CASH WAS GONE!!!!

but what pisses me off the most is that this cocksucker was "thoughtful" enough to leave my PATH and Metrocards in my wallet. just to remind me i still needed to go to work tomorrow so your gonna need your fare cards.

i cant even work out in fuckin SOHO without getting jacked. You should see the guys at my gym. they range from buisness execs to wall street drones like me. so who's the fuckin culprit???

i call all my banks from the payphone and in the space of two hours, i repeat just two hours, this mother fucker went to GNC, Express, Gamestop, KMART, YellowratBastrard and a whole bunch of other stores on Broadway. and this was the only and i mean only time i forgot to take my wallet with me. oh yeah and he got about $500 that i had in my wallet.

u think the landlord is gonna want to hear this shit!?

mark my words i will not stop until i find this piece of shit who got me for my paper. He or they better hope the police get to them before i do. now i have to wait for my monthly statements to come, highlight the fraudulent purchases,take that to the precint, then they will try to investigate all of the stores he hit just to see if they had video surveillance....then the'll try to i.d this scum and pursue his ass

But how do the lockers work at the Gym? I mean if the lock was popped or cut off you would've knew the second you went back to get your stuff. Either way, the person who stole your things obviously planned this because he waited till you left then stole all your goods, then bought all the things in 2 hours and made it so when you went back to your locker you wouldn't know you got your things stolen.

This is why I wouldn't leave my wallet at a locker or put it in my friends bag or whatever while I'm doing something else because there's a chance of this happening, and especially not when I have $500.

You are right there is a difference between robbed vs stolen/larceny.

Robbery entails some being present and having fear or apprehension brought on by the encounter. Larceny is just having your shit stolen when it doesn't scare you or you don't know about it.

Getting pickpocketed would be larceny.

Having a gun pulled on you and then getting your stuff stolen would be robbery.

these mother fuckers racked up some serious purchases on my shit...but all the stores they hit have cameras. so its a matter of time before i get on some final justice shit. i cant wait to get the pictures. they took three cards and it had to be more than one

police were really helpful, and one of the cops i talked to works at the 73rd precint near my house.

well i have different accounts at different banks, so i had buisness to conduct at this other bank that i went to after the gym.

Police called me today around 3 to tell me they are "actively pursuing my case" good shit.

Bank gave me some more interesting news, the first purchase made was at GNC, the cops spoke to the staff at GNC and they said the products that were purchased were bought by someone who's definately into bodybuilding. i'll get the specifics later. I think it was an inside job. the lock i used is still intact. the cops told me whoever did it was able to lift up the bottom part of the locker and stick hisher hand through. i dont see how this is possible...but i'm gonna go check for my damn self right now.

with my memebership i can go to any Bally's or Crunch gym in the U.S. but i think i'm gonna stay at the same one for another week maybe i'll get lucky. my gut tells me its one of the staff. i wont go back till i get pictures from the cameras though, and until i have a well thought out plan for some payback.

Yesterday was just me being careless after a long day at work, i never usually have that much cash on me, but i was really careless. and to leave my shit in the locker....ya i was buggin. i was just tired after a long day. but fuck that i work hard for my shit.

When I go to the gym I put my wallet, cell phone, etc... under my seat in my car. The only thing I take with me are my car keys and my gym pass. I learned very quickly that lockers are the worst place to put any valuables and considering every time I've ever been in post notices absolving themselves of responsibility, you'd figure they know lockers aren't safe either.

Recently, my friend in Florida had his house broken into for the third time in two months.

It's crazy.

The first time they broke in, they took his 27" CRT, 32" CRT, laptop, some jewelry, DSL modem and kicks. They broke in through his front door.

He ended up getting one of those security companies to install a monitoring system in his house.

The second time they broke in, they took his recently purchased 20" tv and some other stuff. This time they used the window in his second bedroom.

The third time they came, they took his expensive stereo system, DVD players and some other junk. According to the police, they pushed the AC unit in the living room onto a table then disconnected the security system.

Personally, I think it's someone close to him, as there can't be a professional thief crazy enough to rob someone three times. The person obviously knows his work schedule and what he has in his home.

The shit really pissed me off, as he really is a nice guy. Thankfully, he had home owner's insurance, but there is no telling if he'll be able to recoup everything.
