"Who Wants To Be A Superhero" TV show thread [Archive]

Okay, I know some of you guys saw this show, What do you think?

I found the concept to be a little corney, but I watched it anyway to see exactly WHAT they would be doing. So far it looks like the events are set up just to see how they are as a person, a person wearing tights. This is more of a moral show than a superhero show if you ask me. Unless they do some serious stunts or something during the season I dont see it coming back for another season.

Anyone else see this show? If you did, what did you think?

I saw it..it was funny.the guys in the red suit was funny as hell. he did some gay ass poses but the concept was pretty cool, they had them change quick and run to the finish line but there was a lost girl on the way there..all in all i liked it just cuz it's a stan lee creation..that man is a FUCKEN GENIUS

I found it entertaining. Although I think Lee could've picked better "heroes" than Fat Momma and Cell Phone Girl (WTF).

I'm kinda dissapointed that Nitro-G was eliminated for not seeing that little girl. That Monkey Girl should've been the one to be thrown off because she noticed her and continued anyway. And that guy with the giant gun seems more like a villain or anti-hero than the traditional super hero Stan would be looking for.

Did anyone else notice that guy in the beginning dressed as Faye Valentine?

i didn't see the beginning..but yea the big dude would be a cool villan, what if like at the end he turned out to be a villan and had to face the winner at the end now that would be cool

I've been watching it because it's so retarded. That's a first for me. I couldn't believe how BAD Iron Enforcer is at acting. Who would even believe that he'd give up when he was just inches from that door. and then he's "dur you want me to be a villain?" trying his damndest to look surprised.

I wouldn't be surprised if half the contestants were plants.

It was funny, on the poll for who viewers thought were going to get eliminated, the choices were f, a, and g. It said *** in big letters on the screen, after stan lee shut his hole.

This show kicks ass. The scripted parts are hilarious. And the unscripted ones are even better.

It's the return of the 70's super hero show, like Hulk, Wonder Woman, 6 million dollar man, etc.

I hope it lasts at least 3 seasons.

And that on season 2, Karate Dog will be a cast member.

I LOVE the look on the guy in blue's face when Stan says that there's going to be a dismissal. He was like "OOOO?!?!". Looked like somebody punched him in the balls.

Stan Lee is so old. It's almost sad to see him on this show because I know he's going to die soon. Just look at that guy. He hasn't got more than 3 years left.

Major Victory is the winner already. I'm pretty sure that was decided before the show ever started. I loved how he pointed at the birds as they flew away, and how he started grinding near some random guy right by the "lost girl."

The BEST part of the series so far has been the dogs ANNIHILATING the women. It was like they were getting hit by cars the way they went down. Creature being dragged back 10 feet was amazing, too.

I'm glad I don't have to hear the "ooh ooh ooh ooh aahhh ahh ahhhh" anymore. I like that the show eliminates two people every episode because it's kind of dumb and I want to see how it ends, but it also means that there is 0 character development, which means I'll continue to think it's kind of dumb. What a dilema.

If its any help to you, she is Tonatzin Mondragon...more or less a B-movie actress. I think she's pretty damn hot myself, and is the only reason I watch this show.

It was a combination of two things:

1.) Not taking the competition "serious".

2.) The whole stripper thing which he tended to bring up in one way or another
each episode.

What a shame! Major "don't touch the hair!" Victory was by far my favorite...Feedback BETTER win the damn thing!
