So...Azumi comes out in American Theatres Today

Wow, this came out of nowhere. I had no clue that Azumi was coming out in American theaters. I saw it a few years ago at an anime convention. I thought that it was decent. I honestly don't remember very much of the story, but the fight scenes were pretty good. If I remember correctly, it was directed by the same guy that directed Versus, so I guess having cool fights was only to be expected. I would say that it's worth checking out if you're into that style of movie at all.

i own azumi...i'm very much a huge fan of the director and was his first big budget movie in japan that got him serious attention. i love all his movies..versus will always be my favorite..and i need to see godzilla final wars which sits next to me forever.

but this movie is very fun to watch. not a great movie but fun to sit back and enjoy and not think for a while.

i also am shocked this came out..didnt know.

I couldnt get trhough 5 mins of thi smovie... But aya ueto... emmmmm, if only all asians looked like her.... Though dont go by this movie on her looks. She looks so much better with short hair its not even fair... They may as well be other people.
