Sorry about that. Redownload it and make sure your internet history files are cleared. I uploaded a version in which I was trying to fix something. I left the inline ASM code unfinished on accident. \= I wonder how many people got that version.

If you have constructive criticism I am open for suggestions. I'm not quite sure what you mean about confusing buttons. They are all labled and it's clear on what they do. The only one I can see confusion on is History View. This basically allows the user to go back and view the previous chat without being interrupted by new incoming chat.

On no, theres nothing wrong with the client. I really like its new features, like the ability to send files to other people and the new server list. Its just that im so used to the old client, that switching to this with so many changes feels a little wierd, lol. I dunno, its just that all the features seem so crowded into the window that looking for certain buttons takes time. Maybe if the window size could be adjusted to our liking, and maybe give the windows a little bit of color to distinguish from which tab youre loooking at.

Yea, its just me though, 6 years looking at the same kaillera client kinda leaves a warm spot in ya, lol.

What's new? It's a first release of a new client redone in C++ based off my Visual Basic 6.0 Version. No support files are needed and it should play great. It's a very simple layout at the moment; most like it that way from my experience.

That very well may be. Some people are willing to switch and they have. You should just give it a try and see how you like it.

Supraclient isn't returning any pings to the available servers, they're all listed as N/A, I can see players pings once logged into a server... any idea why this would be happening?

There might be a few tweaks I can do to help it out. Unfortunately the change in performance you're talking about requires altering the protocol; this would include the server as well.

Looks like you found a minor bug. It does list the server name, but only if you join it from the server lists. If you join from the recent/favorite list, it doesn't display it. Thanks you.

Originally, I was only making this client for my community which includes GodWeapon and Emularena. There wasn't a need for ping at the time. You can look for the ping feature next release.

I am recommending this to people. I really like this client! Honestly, I just hope you just keep right on developing this and take this as far as it can go. Some people reported more stutters with this client, but I don't really know if it's a real issue or not. I'll let you know when I get more people on my server.

Before you blame it on the client, please report the name of the server you were in, the type of server being ran [EmuLinker, UKOS, or Kaillera], and the ping you had in the server and your opponents ping.

I can almost guarantee that your experience wasn't due to the client directly.

I think 0746 has plans to incorporate his P2P client and the n02 core into one application.

Some people complained about lag spikes. So I took a look and saw some places where it MAY be possible. There is nothing new in this version besides performance enhancements. I tested the client on a 15 ping and 112 ping, and I came across no lag spikes with this version. It should be nice and smooth. v0.86.7

No it's not normal and I never heard of such an issue. You can verify what version you are on?

I have the latest version of Supraclient.

One of the issues I have is that sometimes, after I start a game, it says that I dropped when I didn't touch a thing. It happened to me several times. Then I switched to the regular client and had no issues.

By the way, I use mame ++ 0.117

I read this in other threads and you were complaining abou the samething...and not just on my client. If it's not just on my client, it's something on your end. Can you verify that it don't work on the stock client?

The only way it would drop like that is if you're pressing esc, if you didn't have the rom, or something wrong with the emulator.

Did the rom load up? Did you get a message box when the game dropped?

By 'stock client' I'm assuming you mean just normal Kaillera? I've tried the latest version of Kaillera just thought it was down. I downloaded Anti3D because they have a master list that isn't down all the time, but still I couldn't see any servers. That's when I downloaded Supraclient and I'm getting the same results. It's probably something on my end, yes, but you are the most credible person that can help me, seeing as how you made your own client for Kaillera. Why wouldn't my computer be able to access the Anti3D server list?

If you're using MAME++ then yes, that emulator requires you to restart after every game* unfortunately.

After about an hour of troubleshooting, I've been advised that it may actually be a problem with Supraclient. I have no connectivity problems with other applications, only with Kaillera and Supraclient. Where do you suggest I go for support? Do you have any idea what the problem might be? Couldn't it be a problem with Supraclient?

try connect to an ip manually,
81.19.209.8:27888 = is a uk server


also in your router try open up 27886 port? double check ur firewall is off, its definatley a connection problem, sorry i didnt read back much but does normally kaillera client work ok?

Thank you Maybe Memories. I didn't know I didn't have to do any port forwarding. And I realize he doesn't have to answer any questions, it's just that I've never had any issues except for Kaillera and they don't have any forums. I can't connect to an IP manually either... I just opened up the 27886 port and it still isn't working properly =(. I don't have any firewalls running and Kaillera itself doesn't work, so it has nothing to do with SupraClient.

I'll give it a try, but the problem is everybody on kaillera is using mame 0.117 to play 3s...
