You have to wait for someone to seed (read, upload) the rest of the file. It has nothing to do with the program. Someone just left you cold.

Oh, and HAHA!

Your best bet is to wait it out, request a reseed from the torrent creator, track down the source of the tracker or torrent, or scrap the data you have now and search for a new torrent. 99% seeds really aren't as uncommon as you think. I just know I wouldn't be waiting six hours for a seed unless what I wanted couldn't be found anywhere else.

If you're downloading a video you can try this little trick, go to the temporal download folder and copy the temporal file (usually the extension contains an admiration mark "!") somewhere else and rename the file to ".avi" or something like that and pray it works.

Try using utorrent or bitcomet, as some times what is missing is some uselss thing like a readme.txt that people won't bother seeding and these programs allow you to select which files to download. I rarely am stuck at 99%.

Just out of curiosity, what were you downloading? I might be able to find another source for you.

im downloading miami vice (the one that just came out), and at random times it will start uploading at like 4-20 kb/s, which is slow as shit, i was hitting 150+ before

another question : will i have to unzip these files after download? or could i just go right onto media player and use it?

shade, i hope you sleep better at night

Depends on the torrent, some people enjoy torrenting huge multizip files. Google utorrent, it helps you see what you're downloading.

Sometimes the file(s) come in a rar or zip package. It depends.

You can just stop the download and open it anyway. That .1% usually doesn't mean shit.

The folder should show up. I know it does for me. Maybe you set its properties to hidden?
