Nobody is on any country's nuts (well, on second thought, it wouldn't surprise me), but there is no artist that makes music "just like" any of the artists mentioned. These artists just happened to be introduced to people first so it's what they know, and like...Fat Jon ain't part of Japan. Also, none of the music that Nujabes samples is even Japanese, so there is a love for good music, not a country. I mean, you gotta like the sample to like the beefed up version, simple as that.

I think since the thread title was regarding Nujabes, people just stayed on that topic though. Cause there are definitely other dope producers with solo shiet out there from everywhere.

Well, I guess from here on out, this thread shall see a new direction including other artists. Who are some of your favorites Epsilon? I figure Aim and Dev Large are two of my favorites, I like more but it's always hard to narrow down favorites and I don't want to start listing a novel sized list. Peace.

ok, well i just got Nujabes & DJ Ryow - Hydeout Sound Lab Side A & B, listened to part of it, and compared it to Ristorante Side A on a whim, and found out it was the same thing. I'm guessing the Sound Lab does not = Production, as I previously thought.

edit: so this thread motivated me to get my ass out to my local tower records to go scope out Hydeout Production 2. so i'm in luck, as the j-hip hop section prominently features the new release, but @ 3000Yen (roughly 30 US dollars). but i bought it and enjoying now. just had to gripe about the price >_<. ill rip & ul to stabby's here in a few hours.

Don't you just download FTP Explorer or Filezilla and then log onto stabby's FTP with the given username and password using FTP Explorer or Filezilla. Then click file and upload and then upload the file... I think this how it works, if it doesn't, can somebody else please help him out?

You see those two green arrows in the middle? Just select the files you want from the FTP (the right side, then click on the top arrow that is pointing to the left to send it to your computer (the left side). It'll start downloading it after that.


Also an easier way to do it (they way I do it) is to just get DownThemAll for FireFox:

Then just go to where the files are:

But for example, when someone wanted me to burn them Modal Soul I said, "Sorry, I really want you to support them by buying their music". I will only burn the really successful CD's and the such. It may seem like I am contradicting myself, but it is just practically impossible to explain the way I think...

I went through all of your stuff! Took a bit o' time, but it was worth it. But, first you must understand I am an extremely harsh judge when it comes to music.
So basically, I am only getting about 10 different sets; Atjazz - Labfunk, Flying Lotus, Jazzanova, Madlib (who doesn't like Madlib though), Mountain Brothers, Pete Rock, Comfort Fit, Cro Magnon, and dkd.

Practically everything was good though, but I can only find myself listening to a few in my free time.

I think most people on this thread will like some of Epsilons' stuff. Falls into that same broad category of course.

"Otome no Sugata" sounds like a remix to the ending BGM to Shinobi III. *wipes cum off the monitor*

"Strange Flower" is very bassy and suave. No homo.

"Smith's Sledgehammer" could be considered a fusion of the anime's "Mist" and a Moby track without the gheyness of the latter

"Freezing Lilas" is the shit you NEED to rock in your car. DO IT IMMEDIATELY MOTHERFUCKERS.

"Salty Song" would make a perfect Sonic 2 track.

"Jumble Song" sounds VERY Nujabes.

"Unbeliveable Thing" is baby-making, bi-polar bitch-meet-stairs-afterwards, type music.

"Blood and Site" is another track that would fit perfectly with the anime itself


I'm sorry for being narrow right now but I don't want to spoil TOO much. There's other tracks but these are - once again, IMO - the highlights.
