Yea, I was constantly at attention with this. And I didnt catch any corny "wannabe black/hip-hop" lines either, like my fav one from Too Fast, "My pockets aint empty cuz!".

Good idea that was executed badly. Not saying its a bad film, I liked it for the most part. Again, the scene with the couple is fucked up in a subtle, but effective way. It's worth a rent for sure.

Throughout the whole movie I couldn't help but think of the New Jersey (where the film is supposed to take place) state slogan: "New Jersey, Come See for Yourself."

Movie was alright. Nothing I'd bother to watch again.

I lost my taste for the film about half way through solely for the fact that I felt they were piling shit on just for shock factor. Got annoying real fast.

I mean seriously, when that kid climbed in the van and I saw all the toys I said to myself, "You gotta be fucking kidding me. Now there's pedos?"

it was random, but new jeruz has some real grimey parts, there are crazy pedos out there. its shocking but its still a good film

some scenes and dialogue was just completely tasteless. N=word being spat around, in a non serious movie. The Pedo scene had absolutley no point in the movie...at all, take it out and you have the same movie nothing lost. The violence was retarded and Goofy, then serious, then goofy. The Kid was stupid, the ending made no sense.

I rented this a few weeks ago too, I was pleasently surprised by Paul Walkers acting and the general flow of the movie.

Good flick, I'd buy it if it was being sold in a bargin bin at the video store:bgrin:

the ending made perfect sense....he was a rat cop....he joined the witness protection program, he just killed mob bosses and was involved in killing corrupt narcotics officers, if he stuck around new jeruz he woulda been dead in hours. the kids i thought had a lot of street smarts for their age....i think you hear the n word two or 3 times at the most and its from the ignorant young itlian punk anyway so it's not much of a suprise.

um, he wasnt a rat cop in witness protection...i think you missed the point of the movie.

and it is true that the whole basis of the movie is negated when that plot point is factored in (ie his life wasnt actually in danger due to the fuckup so he would never have put his son in those situations)

Yeah, I own that movie. It's the balls.

I doubt the Paul Walker "remake" is a good.

well whatever you wanna call it not witness protection, he had to be relocated and fake his death for him, his fam and olek to be safe. everyone else had to beleive he was dead so he could begin a new stage in his life.
