SRK Battle Poll Round 1 Day 1: FOR MIGHT, FOR RIGHT!

Well, today, it starts....

Remember not to use all your SP today.... I'm still awaiting what Bowling Pin has to determine about how many SP you have per round.

As such, here's the backstory....

Southtown, a city forged on the blood and sweat of strong fighters.

This American metropolis shines nicely amidst the darkness of the night. The intense street lights, cars moving up and down the busy streets, making their horns audible. Several thousands of people walk on the sides, and standing up tall in the middle of the downtown area, was a huge skyscraper, dwarfing every other building in its' vicinty by far. Everyone in Southtown knew what was the name of said construction, but would not have enough intestinal fortitude to pronounce its' name. For it belongs to the greatest crime lord in the whole city, Geese Howard.

Enter, and brave....Geese Tower.

Terry Bogard looked sort of agitated as he walked down the main lobby along with Ryu's entourage. Ryu could notice the tension in Terry's being, "I know that this place brings back some bad memories, but as a warrior, you must know when to overcome such hardships..."

Terry tampered a bit with his cap before flashing an enthusiastic smile to Ryu, "Don't worry, I'm over it. Let's just do this thing!"

The group continued to walk down the red carpeted aisle. In the meantime, another group has already positioned themselves in one of the elevators, and are on the quick ascent to the top floor of the tower. Inside one of these modern elevators, a man gloats at the sight of the majestic Southtown growing beneath his sight. "Hah! Finally at home, in my turf, and under my rules...."

Jotaro didn't seem as thrilled as the surrogate host of the round, the reknown local bad guy, Geese Howard, "Hey, Sunshine. Remember who is running this show. Just don't get your ass out of line, or I'll put it back in!"

But even Jotaro's cold words could not faze the gloating Geese, who just stood there with his arms crossed, his eyes filled with a sinister joy. Sensui mustered under his breath, "What a complete jackass...."

Saya tried to silence him down with a finger over her lips, "Be quiet now! There are a lot of big egos around here..don't want to get 'em agitated now..."

When the group finally arrived at the top floor, the door opened to display an immense room which seemed to be decorated like an old Japanese feudal castle. The room was lined with finely-polished boards of wood, and scattered around the room were ancient Japanese demon statues, which looked even more fearsome in the obscurity of the night. The room exterior was lined with ample window panels from which you could very well appreciate the skyline of Southtown. Already stationed in the middle of the room was Servbot and his own peculiar group of characters. Servbot waved at Jotaro, "Heeeeeeey, boys! Good to see you tag along!"

Method Man looked around and noticed someone missing, "Hey yo, where that big ass lizard be at?"

Yen Sid silently pointed backward at the window panels, and just like that, Godzilla's huge yellow eyes were peering through the windows like a kid would see through a doll house. Also present in the room was Sagat and his group of warriors standing on the other side of the room.

Sagat rubbed his nose a bit, and claimed out in a stern voice, "So, anybody around here know how we got here?"

"I believe...that is my doing...!"

The whole group of fighters turned towards the top of one of the statues, which had a fairly large man standing on one of the statue's arms. He was very well above 7 feet tall, and he had a pretty bulky body, albeit slouched a little bit. His face was long, and seemed mostly to be in a sad/depressed mood, but was mostly covered by his long black hair. In one hand he totted an old clock, and in the other, waved around a dimly-lit lantern. Despite being so impressive in his side, the ghastly character jumped down to ground level with the greatest of ease, and barely shaking the objects in his hands. The big oaf slowly looked around, and then took a deep look in his clock before saying, "Almost here...."

Alas, just seconds later, the distinct sound of the elevator bell rang, and out comes Ryu leading his band of warriors. As expected, the encounter between Terry and Geese featured cold stares, with Terry clenching his fists in sheer anger as Geese just stood there with a sarcastic smirk. Terry then felt a hand restrain him on his shoulder, "Don't be so reckless now, young one. Anger will only lead you to a quick end."

The voice was that of Dhalsim, a Yoga master and a very calm and patient man, even in the worse hardships. Terry finally settled down, but was weary not to let Geese escape his vision.

The tall figure stood amidst this large group of fighters, and spoke in such a deep tone that the echo seemed to literally shake the glass around them, "Welcome...warriors! Today is your first day...of competition...so look sharp...and stay alive!". The huge man then shook his head, appeared to be dozing off to sleep, then kicked back into gear again, "My name is Aldebaran...I am the one who shall...transport you to your...fighting locations...as designated...by sir Cosmo and miss Eve....themselves...". Then Aldebaran sort of tilted his head, and resumed speaking again, "Well, not always, but...that's not the point now...Alas! I believe some people...may recognize this place...Geese Tower! A monument to the infinite greed...and power lust that is that man over there...Geese Howard!"

Geese just snickered and gave a small chuckle as Aldebaran continued, "Now...may the chosen ones step forward...at this time!"

Ryu turned around, and after flashing a quick look at Terry, pointed out, "Marco Rossi, come out, please..."

Marco snapped his fingers, and looked as vivid as ever, "Yeah! Mission start, baby! I'm on my way, sir!" Marco rushed forward in his peculair style, gave Ryu a quick military salute, and stood in the middle of the room. Then Ryu pointed out at a figure he knew too well.

"Rolento, you know what to do...."

Rolento, unlike the hyped Marco, walked in the typcail stern military fashion, and stopped where Ryu was standing. He then gazed at Ryu in the eye, and sneered, "I just hope that if I win, you may consider joining me in my perfect military utopia, Ryu..."

Ryu just smiled, "We'll see Rolento...first, put your talent to the test, and you may have my answer later on...."
Then Rolento suddenly gave a huge leap that even went past where Marco was, and Rolento landed in a crouching position, musing, "Ready..."

On the other side, Servbot seemed hesitant, but suddenly noticed someone, and shouted out, "Yoouuuu...with the geeky glasses and overall nerdy look. Come out!"

The shy Otacon was shown in shock, and in visible fear, "M...m...m...me?!?"

Servbot looked mad, "Yes, you, nerd magnet! Get out there, and put up some action, for once!"

"O...O...O...O...OK...?!"

The shaken Otacon seemed very hesitant as he stepped forward into the room, as Servbot was quick in noticing his next choice, "You, the other nerdy guy, get out there and reenact that Revenge of the Nerds scene, please?"

Yen Sid walked forward and just raised his nose when he walked past Servbot, which made the little robot kind of mad. He stood in front of Otacon, and they both shared an amicable handshake. This made Otacon feel a lot more safe, but not less nervous.

Sagat, in the meantime, just gave his followers a deep stern, and pointed out to one member, “Terra, step forward now….”

A young lady with green hair fixed in a ponytail walked out. She was apparently wearing a red body armor, and her eyes were filled with sadness. Terra silently nodded as she walked past Sagat, after which Sagat called out his next fighter, “Tron Bonne, out on stage, please….”

Instantly, Servbot was overwhelmed with joy as the young woman dashed out in her own Gustaff mech. The little bot instantly ran into Tron’s arms, a whole mess of tears, as he weeped, “*sniff* Miss Tron! I’ve missed you so much! Where have you been?”

Tron gave a kind smile, “Well, you know, here and there…. But don’t worry my dear Servbot. I also brought all your brothers to assist me in battle if the situation so requires it!”

Ralf Jones kind of looked confused as the whole scene developed, “Pfft, what’s with all this reunion stuff? Sure doesn’t suit our ‘almighty’ host one bit…”

Protoman just looked on in silence, “Eh…you know ‘em…robots in the end….”

Meanwhile, Jotaro called out his first contestant without even turning around, “Well, Tommy, it’s your call now….”

Just like that, a young man made a flip right into the scene, and made some katas while on the stage. Although he looked kinda seasoned, he was still in his late 20’s, and looked determined as ever, “All right, show time!”

Jotaro then tipped his cap and pointed out the next contestant, “OK, Green boy, do your thing…”

With that, a young boy walked out, and he was dressed in a mostly white suit with green shoulder pads and belt. He looked at Tommy, and suddenly assumed a battle stance as to announce he was ready. Tron put Servbot down and pat his head, “Go back to your team, Servy. Watch how your mistress gets things done!”

Servbot was still overwhelmed with joy, “Yes, Miss Tron!”

Aldebaran looked at the 8 contestants ready to go, and looked at his clock again, “May the mayhem…begin!”

Round 1 Day 1: FOR MIGHT, FOR RIGHT!
Hazard Assists
-Whether you wield swords, draw guns, or rely on only your two fists to fight, the strongest weapons in your arsenal are your pen and your imagination. The following selection of attacks are available to you free of charge - that is, if you're verbose enough. Write at least 1000 words in your story post in order to use a Hazard Assist. You may only use one Hazard Assist per post.

=Geese Bored Once More= - 10 DMG
Geese Howard enjoys the finer things in life. Among them are random probability, quantum physics, string theory, and Cuban cigars. Thus, Geese Howard may send one of his goons - Billy Kane, Raiden, Ripper, or Hopper - out to fight one of the competitors, while Ryu, Sagat, Servbot, and Jotaro are helpless to watch.

Feel free to describe any other motivation for the above four goons to enter a fight. They may even decide to fight a character they've helped. Remember that Billy Kane's primary weapon of choice is his retractable staff, that Raiden is a masked wrestler who often spits a green mist to confuse his opponents, and that Ripper and Hopper are just kinda generic thugs who like knives.

But one person with the courage to defy the bloodlust of Geese Howard is his henchman's own sister herself; Lily Kane. Primed with a first aid kit, Lily's willing to help any fighter who makes a plea for her need. Geese isn't particularly happy to see this happen, but even Geese Howard doesn't have the gall to strike a little girl.

Feel free to describe the brutal nature of your beat down and the dire odds you face. Your appreciation for Lily's assist will increase ten fold.

=Web Swing! Maximum Spider!= - 12 DMG
...or not. In this Hazard Assist, your opponent is reacquainted with the force of gravity as you are able to knock him or her out of the arena, out of the window, and out to the ground below to a most certain death...which would be the case, if Geese Howard didn't have the foresight to install giant bungee jump platforms flanking all sides of Geese Tower.

The fall is still painful, and your opponent may be able to climb back through the window with a little effort and a little bounce, but the shock of the fall should be enough to dizzy your opponent for a good while. It's suggested that you describe the fight and the actions leading up to you knocking your opponent out the window, and perhaps, to describe your opponent's return into the arena as well.

You're Not Alone! & Searching For Friends - 5 SP - Give 1 DMG to your opponent for the next three votes given in favor of you.

Both of these skills will now read as Give 3 DMG to your opponent after three votes are cast in favor of you. This is the same effect, but worded less confusingly. Both skills now cost 4 SP. Naturally, this applies only to Terra Branford and Zidane Tribal if they decide to equip these skills.

SfF now costs 1 SP less. You may add one more Passive or 1 SP skill to compensate.

Question is there a limit to the amount of SP we can use at one time?

As anyone who has played FF6 knows...Terra admittably has great potential and power. However, as anyone who has watched Dragonball Z knows, such power is useless if you're too much of a coward to use it.
Simply put, it is not in Terra's natural instinct to fight. Not even when the world is at peril. After Kefka destroyed the world, was her first thought to go back and defeat the madmen in order to restore the World of Balance? NO. She came across a bunch of orphaned kids and decided to play nanny rather than fight and do what needed to be done to save the world.
Even in this case when the very existence of the universe is at stake, she is probably more touched by the maternal love Tron gives to her Servbots than the fate of the universe.
Tron, while not an evil or terribly malevolent girl DOES get pissed off when her family and her children the Servbots are in danger, and lets NOTHING stop her. Just ask Lex Loathe what happens when you threaten her family. If you can find him.

Battle-wise, Terra does have some powerful magic (if she can muster up the courage to use it). But Tron has every kind of mechanical device her brilliant mind can think of, least of all 40 INDESTRUCTIBLE Servbots who can be trained to do anything. Don't forget, it was the machines that enslaved Terra in the first place. All Tron needs to do is have her Servbots take Terra's assault (if she's inclined to fight at all) while she constructs another Slave Crown to control Terra's mind and make Terra do her bidding. And with a weak mind and fragile psyche, Terra isn't that hard to control. Even that idiot Gestahl could do it.

Tommy hits the Splash Mode Dial, thrusts it into the ground, a column of water appears, and then the enemy is surrounded in a flood.

Brachio Staff Head Crash: SP - If attacked, guard 1 DMG, give 2 DMG.

Energy Orb: 3 SP - Give 3 DMG, regardless of the opponent's defense.

Hmmmm....I wanted to fight at Geese Tower. At least I could know that Mustadio would win when he shoots Geese off to Geese's death (again).

Marco Rossi - Marco is the better soldier. While he's almost definitely not smarter than Rolento, who is easily the most competent person in Mad Gear outside of Posion, the Metal Slug gang has incredible luck not to die on the hellish missions they take. None of them have ever died in canon as far as I know, while Mad Gear can't keep a leader because they seem to be the Geeses of Capcom. How appropriate.

Marco also wins this because of equipment. The only thing that Rolento has over Marco is the baton, the razorwire, and the agility. Out of all those, the razorwire is the worst, and Marco has faced worse, more lethal traps unfazed.

HEAVY MACHINE! Super Play for the win.


Yen Sid - I've never played Metal Gear, so I honestly admit that I doubt that I'll vote any character from the game. However, I generally know who the characters are. Can Otacon even fight? Even if he can, it's not like he's who I was planning on using as my "secret weapon", who would perfect against Yen Sid, since Sid is a rather powerful wizard.

Tron Bonne - Yeah. It's basically what Shiki said: Terra doesn't like to fight. While she's probably in a fighting mood now, for whatever reason, I kind of find FF6 overrated anyway just like FF7; I bring this up because Terra will probably end up killing a lot of us if she gains momentum. That and Ms. Bonne will probably send her Servbots out to distract Terra before knocking her out with one bop to the head.

It was a battle I was not proud to win, as he is one of my favorite FF characters.
I hold no ill will toward Terra, but I just don't think she has what it takes to survive...

The battle begins, and the two fighters stare each other down. Yensid looks grim and serious as usual, while Otacon keeps looking nervously to his feet.

"I guess um... this is it huh?" he says to the elderly and very grumpy looking man across from him.

Not bothering to answer and before Otacon can make a move, Yensid casts a brief time stop spell(1*) on his weak but clever opponent, giving him the chance to dash away in preperation for his plans.

"Where is the old guy going?" Ryu asks to his fellow sponsors.

"MAYBE HE HAS TO CHANGE HIS DEPENDS HA HA HA!!" replies Servbot, who hops on Ryu's leg and starts humping furiously.

Safely away from the violent battles taking place in the other rooms, Yensid uses his magic to summon all of the brooms(2*) in Geese Tower to do his bidding. Silently commanded by Yensid's strange but powerful sorcery, the brooms begin grabbing buckets and breaking free of the closets, they all get to work on Yensid's master plan. Slowly but surely, they all fill their buckets with water and take them up to the roof. Immediately after dumping the water onto the roof, they go back down and do it all over again and again. In a matter of minutes, the dedicated army of brooms has entirely flooded the top of the building, where Yensid has been waiting for his nerdy enemy to come find him. Thankfully Geese has OCD and is a neat freak and keeps brooms all over the massive building. Otacon emerges after a few minutes through the door of the roof and find himself surrounded by holographic like doubles(3*) of Yensid all over the roof.

"Wh--- what's going on here?!?" studders the obviously perplexed boy.

"What's the matter? Not smart enough to figure this trick out?" all of the Yensids say in unison.

He nervously takes out his gun(4*) and starts shooting frantically at the doubles. One by one, the copies fade away until he is out of ammo and there is only one Yensid left standing near the edge of the roof, the real Yensid.
"Okay.... he's just an old man... even I can take his guy!" the visibly shaken young man thinks to himself.

Otacon, summoning courage he didn't knew he had ...or perhaps merely spazzing out in a last ditch effort to survive, gets the idea to plod through the water at full speed and pistol whip the elderly looking wizard. However, as he is running, the water freezes into dangerously slippery ice thanks to a quick Blizzaga spell(5*) blasted to the ground from Yensid.

"Oh shit! I've fallen and I can't get up! That's supposed to be your line gramps!" says Otacon as he falls on his ass, still sliding quickly towards Yensid.

The mighty wizard steps aside as his dorky opponent slides helplessly past to his doom off the high roof of Geese Tower.

"Whaaaaaa I think I crapped myself SAVE MEEEEEEEeeee...." Otacon screamed as he plummeted past the windows of the building.

The fighters inside stopped everything to rush over to the window and watch the poor excuse of a fighter splat into the ground.

The massive one-eyed beast Sagat points out the window and remarks, "Watch this... the same thing happens when I give a crouching fierce!"

Yensid smiles proudly, knowing that he proved what he believed all along: that no amount of the young man's cleverness could defeat his long life of study and experience in the magical arts. Looking over the edge to see what has become of Otacon, he sees the screaming boy flailing his limbs as he falls straight down into the path of the legendary warrior Ryu, who had stepped outside to escape the relentless leg humping of living Lego copyright infringement, Servbot.

"Huh? Wuzzat?!?" the very white looking Japanese fighter says as he hears the desperate scream coming closer to him.

Ryu's Shoto Sense goes off and he makes the split second decision to leap up and air throw Otacon, sending him crashing through a huge second story window, and finally landing onto a giant leather couch.
Dazed and sore, but still alive thanks to Geese's love of expensive furniture, Otacon stumbles to his feet. Tripping over the now lifeless brooms and buckets scattered all over the tower, Otacon slowly makes his way back up to the roof.

"That all you got old man?" Otacon slurred from his bloody mouth, barely able to stand on his own two feet as he walks through the roof entrance once again.

"Damn... he can escape wrong death..." mumbled Yensid to himself, seeing Otacon emerge and realizing his fight wasn't quite over with yet...

*1- Time Stop spell from the first Kingdom Hearts. Sora can perform this, and he is even or below Donald in the magic department. Donald was most likely trained by Yensid because he refers to him as Master Yen Sid in KH2. Mickey was trained by Yen Sid as well, who is above both Sora and Donad. While Yensid never demonstrated this power himself, but it is common sense he should have the same basic powers as his students, plus more.
*2- Mickey used Yensid's magic hat to make brooms come alive and do his bidding in the Disney movie Fantasia. Yensid wakes up to find the place flooded much like in my story, and quickly makes the water go away and fixes everything. Once again, Master > Apprentice, so there is no reason Yensid himself couldn't do this also, especially if he can undo what happened.
*3- While explaining to Sora, Donald, and Goofy what enemies they will encounter during Kingdom Hearts II, Yensid is able to make holographic like images of Donald, The Heartless, Nobodies, and members of Organization XIII appear. I admit most of these powers are conjecture, but I honestly don't see why he couldn't great false images of himself also.
*4- I tried to wiki this guy and didn't get much info. I'm assuming he uses a gun in the game. If not, pretend he borrowed one from Snake. Or Yensid made the illusion that he had a gun to make him feel better, I have no idea.
*5- Common ice magic spell in the Kingdom Hearts series, a freezing or ice type of magic.

Moments after following the wizard Yen Sid onto the floor and shaking hands, Otacon begins to cough violently. Realizing that Yen Sid is not effected by whatever ailment he is suffering from, he assumes the obvious, "*wheeze* What have you *cough* done to me?!" He manages to breathe out, wrapping his arm around his face and choking into his inner elbow. His eyes widen when he notices blood staining the the elbow of his otherwise pristine white lab coat. Yen Sid's teammate Sora leaps from the sidelines and points some sort of key-shaped object at him, causing Otacon to feel bound in spirit but not physically; though this disease is causing lots of problems in that department.

This Yen Sid was not fooling around, especially after racing towards him and delivering a vicious slash (Hah!) across his forearms as he meekly raises them to guard his face. The force of the strike knocking him across the floor and into a heap. If he didn't fight, he would surely lose and quite possibly be killed. "I have...to be strong..." He mutters, "For Emma! For Snake!" His resolved hardened into a visible rage, slamming his hands against the ground as he begins to rise. The pain from his forearms only increasing his anger. Hal Emmerich rises to his feet, the light in the area obscuring his eyes making the lenses of his glasses shine bright white. Reaching into his lab coat, Otacon retrieves a small hypodermic needle. He pulls the plastic cap from the tip with his teeth and shoves it into his thigh, depressing the plunger and flushing his bloodstream with nanomachines. Otacon then spits the cap from his mouth and pulls the needle from his leg, visibly flinching until it's completely removed and tosses it aside. The nanomachines were given to him in an envelope addressed to him from Naomi Hunter, who had since been working on new nanomachines since her removal from FOXHOUND. They were designed to be used to remove illness and speed up the natural healing process (ANTIBODY and HEAL used). Not once did he think he would have to use them himself as he generally stays away from battles and violence if he can, despite his family's terrible history in creating devastating weapons of warfare.

Otacon is still fuming, his rage fueled by the understanding that he cannot afford to lose this fight. People are depending on him here and back in his own universe. Reaching into his lab coat once more, Otacon removes a well-worn screwdriver and rushes towards Yen Sid, screaming at his voice's maximum limit, "I know I can do it, THIS IS JUST LIKE ONE OF MY JAPANESE ANIMES!! (skill used)" Otacon's furious scream and total personality reversal catches Yen Sid offguard enough that Otacon manages to make a deep scratch (SHIKIGAMI'S CUT used) along Yen Sid's shoulder as Otacon races towards him.

With his arms folded around his chest, Terry Bogard remains ever cautious of the environment. Who knows what Geese may be up to. He wasn't sure how long his nerdy teammate would last given his meek and docile personality, but the way Otacon suddenly went from careful to enraged impressed and scared him. He glanced back over at Geese who seemed to be murmuring into one of his aide's ears and pointing over at Otacon. No, this wouldn't stand. Terry had to do something immediately. Racing from the sidelines, Terry runs to his teammate's aid, "POWER CHARGE!!" He shouts as his shoulder crashes into Yen Sid's chest and abdomen. The effect arches Yen Sid's body forward as all the air in his lungs is forcefully ejected, sending Yen Sid airborne until he slams against the glass on the other side of the arena, not nearly enough power to send Sid plummeting through it. Perhaps Geese bought shatterproof windows this time to prevent his fall from ever happening again.

Realizing his opprotunity, Otacon rushes after Yen Sid leaning forward as he closes the distance between them. "I have to do this, this is the only way... I just hope this works..." He mutters to himself between panting breaths. Yen Sid coughs a bit before rising to his feet and lifting his head, only to see Otacon diving towards him with his arms outstretched to Yen Sid's throat (STREP THROAT used). Grabbing it and tightening his grip like a vice.

[HAZARD ASSIST!]

"Oh my shit," Terry mutters in disbelief following after Otacon as he goes on his suicide mission. Time seems to slow down as the force of Otacon dive for Yen Sid's throat sends Sid's body against the glass, first spidering into hundreds of thousands of little cracks that quickly spread through the vast pane of glass. The glass then gives way to the force of the two bodies begin falling through the glass and into the open air. Terry likewise dives towards the falling pair reaching out for anything of Otacon's body that he can grab. Otacon and Yen Sid scream for their lives as their fall begins to turn sharply more vertical. Terry skids on his stomach to the hole in the glass and spreads his legs into a V position so that he too doesn't topple over the edge. "Gotcha!" Terry says, relieved as his hand wraps tightly around Otacon's ankle. "Geez, how many times am I going to have to do this?"

Yen Sid however, is not so lucky. As Otacon's ankle is snagged by Terry, Otacon releases his grip on Yen Sid's throat. Gravity continues its ever-present effect and pulls Yen Sid straight towards the ground.

Despite the events above, life continues to go on as normal in Southtown. A shiny red, brand new sportscar pulls up to the curb of Geese Tower. "I hope Mr. Howard doesn't kill me for this, I know I'm late but I just had to buy this." A burly man with blond hair, dressed in a bright blue wrestling leotard murmurs worriedly as he slides out of the car. Raiden walks around the car and onto the curb, opening the passenger door and picking up his trademark blue and yellow mask, "Wouldn't want to forget you now would I?" He says with a smile, closing the door to the car. He sighs happily, "That's probably the best purchase I've ever made." Pleased with himself, Raiden presses the lock button on the key, the car beeping in response and begins walking away. That is until he hears a wail growing louder and louder with each passing second. "Oh please.... Oh please no." He's heard the same kind of sound numerous times and it could only mean one thing.

A blur descends from the sky before landing onto his brand new baby, or rather through as Yen Sid's body goes directly through the sports car's hood and into the vehicle itself. The suspension taking the brunt of the impact and channeling all that kinetic energy into the rest of the vehicle. The hood flies open as does the small rear trunk, parts fly from the engine compartment and the windows all over the car shatter.

Raiden drops to his knees and bawls.

"C'mon, let's go..." Terry says, grunting as he pulls the rest of Otacon back through the window. Otacon smiles and stands, hugging Terry tightly. "I knew you would help me. Thank you, thank you so much!" Though it seemed at the time that Otacon wasn't frightened of anything that had just transpired, a glance at the stain on the front of his pants say otherwise.

Though it seems like his opponent may be defeated, Otacon doesn't take that chance and begins planning ahead just in case (CALENDAR used). Should Yen Sid manage to rise again, Otacon will use his Screwdriver again (NOW AND THEN followed by SHIKIGAMI'S CUT). He wipes his brow and takes these precious moments of peace to tear the arms from his lab coat and wrap each one around his still bloodied forearms. "Let me know if you need me again." Terry whispers to Otacon as he returns to the sidelines, glaring at Geese who merely snickers in return.

His move set is fine. he just renamed the regular skills. The effects are still the same.

If someone casts a skill twice (MrQuotes' use of Heal on two occasions) without the aid of another skill which allows this, then the second use of the same skill just doesn't happen. Terra Branford's SP total remains the same.

However, if someone casts a skill which has no effect (Worthless Scrub casting Antibody despite not being Diseased), then the skill fizzles, the SP is lost, and the skill cannot be done again without the aid of Then and Now.

Terra’s opponent carried much more power than her unassuming childlike persona let on. A magical opponent wouldn’t pose much of a threat at all, being half esper and a master sorcerer, no incantation would come unexpected. This opponent however, was different from the Magitek Armor she so commonly came across. All brute force, and a nonstop barrage of tiny little robots for assistance made this fighter a very unpredictable opponent. The machine that carried the young girl was much worse for wear, carrying around heavy battle scars, yet fully operational it seemed.

The first thing Terra did was try to attack the pilot behind the machine, and cast Bio on her. It seemed to work, as Tron’s movement lagged drastically, making herself open for even more attacks, so Terra did what she did best, and let loose on several lightning spells, piling them on in layers, the thunder shaking the very foundations of the tower where their fight took place. In the wake of the electric onslaught however, came the machine’s drill arm in a desperate fashion. The armor would have pulverized Terra if she hadn’t scrambled away in the last second, but her position had been compromised, as she lost her concentration, and needed to restart her spell casting.

Even after a prolonged state of Poison cast on Tron Bonne, she had bounced back viciously, her robots had taken action in treating her of the ailment placed upon her. Then before Terra could make her next move, Tron Bonne had unleashed an army of miniature sized robots that caught Terra completely off guard. They came upon her like a tidal wave and swept her off of her feet, for whatever reason carrying assorted foods, and beverage. It wasn’t a very undignified way to be attacked, trampled under a array of bad tasting refreshments. Before Terra could collect herself from the stampede, she could see an impending oversized boulder heading in her direction. Without time to react, she merely flinched, and braced for impact.

Eyes closed, expecting the worst, she heard the sound of granite on steel, she cautiously opened her eyes to see that Protoman had taken the blow from her, or more accurately his shield did.

“But, why?” Terra had asked, confused as to why the crimson and gray robot would place himself in dangers way for her.

“Look, for whatever reason, we’re now responsible for looking out for each other. I’m just doing what’s expected of me, now it’s your turn to do the same.”

“But, I don’t know if I can win, you’re just going to get yourself hurt even more if you keep helping me.”

“Listen to me right now,” Protoman said sternly as he pointed a finger at her, “What I just did wasn’t about you, it was about me, what I wanted to do. But let me tell you this, the second you hesitate, the moment that you hold back because your afraid of knowing whether or not what you can do, then you’ll have wasted any help that I’ve given you.”

Another barrage of servbots flew in Terra’s direction, and Protoman took the brunt of those hits as well with his shield. For tiny little things, they packed a hell of a punch, and Protoman started to feel it in his arms as they started to give way. He then turned to Kenpachi, the tall, black cloaked monster of a man who stood and watched indifferently to what was going on.

“You just gonna stand there and enjoy the show?” Protoman asked slightly begrudgingly at his third partner.

“11th Squad doesn’t interfere in one on one fights, if she can’t handle that freakish looking robot thing, then it’s her problem.”

“Do we look like we’re a member of whatever club you’re ugly ass is a part of? I mean, if you’re afraid, then just say it, so I can expect to not get help from you and adjust accordingly.”

Kenpachi snorted at the android’s taunt, “Keh… what a stupid attempt of trying to get me angry. Fine already, just say you want me to help, I’ll butt in between these two weaklings, so just stop talking after that.”

“My sentiments exactly…” Protman said.

Terra was inspired by the strange behavior of her teammates, and decided that no matter what, she would do whatever what was in her power to free herself of any regret. It wasn’t only their actions that inspired her, but she was given a renewed strength after Kenpachi released his eye-patch, and a reborn stamina had run through her body. Was this his power? Whatever the case, she had to make sure her next move paid off big.

She scanned the scenery to see what she could do next. Fire spells wouldn’t work well against this opponent, and the cold that she could produce wasn’t able to slow this armored vehicle down at all. She then drew notice to the windows that surrounded the fighting arena, and she realized what her best bet was. It would cost her almost all of her strength, but there’s no reason to have a last ditch effort if she didn’t have the gumption to use it.

With all of her being, she summoned the nature around her, thanks to Protoman giving her cover, she had the time to chant the rather long spell that she probably wouldn’t have had the opportunity to use before. The air start to contract, and energy flowed through them so intensely, she could see the movement of the currents, she had control, and all she had to do was contract it, channel it, and let loose with all of her strength.

“W Wind!” The spectators had taken cover to the monstrosity of a spell she had cast, but for those front and center, it took a huge toll on them all. She could see Tron Bonne in her armored suit, powerless to control the vicious force of nature that surrounded her, and joining her was her robot army that spun around helpless to the tornado that consumed them. To and fro, and finally out of the arena, she could hear their screaming fade away, and for a moment it looked like she was victorious. Unfortunately that wasn’t the case, Tron Bonne had made it back up, however she definitely felt the damage done on her from the Magical twister, and the inevitable plunge down Geese’s tower.

“Are you kidding me? Where the hell did that come from?!” Protoman had bailed out at the last second, he was in definite need of some repairs when this match ended.

“Ho... So she’s got some power after all.” Kenpachi’s attention was now at center stage.

The sun was setting on this battle, and Tron had taken a heavy blow. However Terra felt the aftermath from the attack as well, not only taking almost her last bit of energy, but also the collateral damage that followed the attack. There was no room for holding back anymore, win of lose, she would leave her soul on this battlefield, and for better or worse, she would take whatever came next.
