I wanna applogize for the 4 things that went wrong during the toureny today.
(2 bad buttons and 2 "sometimes sticks" joysticks)
I told edar and adam i was truly sorry. cause i am.
I didnt MEAN for n e of that shit to happen.
The way edar was talking to me he made it sound like i didnt give a shit.
That was so far from the truth.
I wanted NOTHING else but for that tourney to go smoothly.
Im sorry to disapoint the peeps that drove down JUST for MVC2.
But honestly, what the fuck was i supposed to do?
The fact is that the game tech doesnt work on sundays.
I had to beg the guy just to stop in for 5 minutes that morning.
I mean come on, do u think a 40 year old guy wants to spend his day off watchin some kids playing videogames all day.
All i could do is leave a note telling him what to fix.
That is ALL i could do.
So if n e body else wants to get in my face again, i seriously suggest u think about it before u do.

I don't know if I was tied for 5th place or not but I really shouldn't have been the way I was playing. I was, in fact, trying NOT to play my best characters the safest way possible...just trying to have a good time. And like always, I played my best games before and after the tourney was over. Hehehe, I guess I need to work on my tourney play. So be it. I'm sure I'll be prepared for regionals.

Oddly enough I was in the semi-finals in both winners and losers' brackets. Regardless, good games to all. I need to play more people of this caliber (no pun intended).

Don't stress man. The machine malfunctions are not your fault, you did your best with what you had. You cannot expect everything to go perfectly all the time, you know? You worked very hard to make things work when there were things you could not anything about to begin with. You took the time to organize the tourney, so I think everyone is grateful for that much, at least.

I am sure next time, things will be better now that everyone knows what is wrong. Next time will better!

I learned very much from such a short time, especially how American people play CvS2 so I know what to be ready for (and what characters I need to use on my team). And how much I need to get a MAS stick so I can practice for US sticks instead of spoiling myself with ASCII sticks :lol: If only i had 100+ dollars to spend right now...

Well earlier the sticks were great and I was giving a beatdown, but when we descided to have the tournement one of the mechince button broke. But it was a while until we even had that tourney so pregames was like 5hrs and the other tourneies there turned out great.

Time before tournies sound better because all the other tournies in Florida failed because one came after another. One big tourney in a while makes people feel they need to go to have a title for so long and make them feel that they have to wait till next 2 months so they will go to this one.

Well I just learned that reset from Flesh-N-Bone and still learning it so when I play at the tourney I wouldn't make a mistake by not praticing it.

Usually, at least 2 machines at tl are top quality. Similar to mas stick = 1 machine and thats just because i like the 3rd one when it's working right.

Yo mix, it's 9/6-8 in philly. If i'm heading up there during that time, i'ma go. I haven't been there before, but it's supposedely pretty big. About the same size as ECC's I think. University Pinball is a dope ass arcade.
