i'm sure a lot of people have 40 gb players and such, so what to carry during the week isn't really an issue. to those that do, what're you listening to right now? just this week, say.

i'm on a 512 mb player which is tiny considering how much music i go through. it's cheap and durable, and reloading once a week is hardly an inconvenience anyway.

so what's some good music for riding the train, walking to school/work, etc?

I have been listening to mostly lately as far as music goes is some 1349, Deathspell Omega, Behemoth, and Mastodon. I listen to a lot of comedy as well and have been listening to stuff from Doug Stanhope, Demitri Martin, Brian Posehn, Patrice O'Neal, and Jim Norton.

Pretty much. On my lapop I have close to 20 gigs of individual songs I've downloaded, and the other 26 gigs are albums. So I just put all the individual songs on my 20 gig MP3 player.

Stand-up comedy, rap, R&B, and miscellaneous tracks. Too many to name, but let me share a tidbit of advice for those of you prone to hear a song on TV you like: Google a phrase from it with quotes around it if you don't know the title. It's saved me LOTS of time.
