I suggest you go to a salon.

That's about the best and only advice you need.

How about you don't dye your hair blue? What kind of emo otaku gayness is that?

besides the fact that you will look like a basement emo nerd, what you need to do is bleech it with some 40strength bleech for about an hour, I know it sounds like a long time but its neccisary.

then get some punky color blue, the goo gel type and leave that in with a bag over your head for a night. Or just leave it in for an hour.

Its gonna get everywhere, you tub will be blue, your shirt collers will too, pillos, towels, chairs, cats...you name it. And it will never fully get out, it will always look blue till you re do it re-bleach it or use temp color on it, like brown,

hope that helps, you loser.

your supposed to line youe skin with vasaline. Plus when you wash it out you have to shampoo like three times, alot of people skip those steps.

Yeah, I realize that a lot of emo people do dye their hair blue but that seriously has nothing to do with it. I just want color in my hair and blue just happens to be my favorite color. Believe me, I'm the furthest thing you can be from emo

I feel you on that. Blue is a favorite color of mine as well. Of course, I am just content with a blue shirt or something along those lines.

Just make sure you do it right unless you want to walk around with parts of your face and neck blue for several weeks.

This is what you do if you don't want to go to a salon and do it at home.

Have some gloves around, cus they will help.

1. Make sure your hair is clean before you apply anything. Shampoo is ok, but conditioner is a no no. And make sure that your hair is dry.

2. Depending on how much you want the brightness of the dye, bleach your hair.
You can either leave it up to an hour for maximum bleachness and color, however if you go that route, you'll burn your hair and you will lose ALOT of hair. When you take a shower and comb your hair you'll know what I mean. Since you have black hair go for about 20-35 minutes.

What I use is 40 volumn cream and Loreal Quick Blue bleach poweder developer is my personal pereference although you can use any type of bleach powder.

3. Make sure you have gloves on, and try not to get the bleach on your skin, it might burn a bit. Mix the cream and powder so it's not too thick, but not to runny and use a hair paint brush to apply. Then use a plastic bag and put it over your hair and let it sit there. I use a blow dryer to help it heat it up a bit.

4. Take the bag off your hair, rinse, then dry. If your hair is somewhat orange, then you might want to add a little bit more bleach then repeat step 3; this is because the color won't come out. If your hair is yellow or white, then you can add the dye to your hair, but also make sure you have petrolium jelly around your skin so it won't stain your skin then you'll have to be scrubbing hard to get it out. I suggest you use gloves and an old shirt you don't care for during this because no matter how careful you are, you will get stains. Leave the dye for about an hour or so on, then rinse off.

Depending on the brand it'll last about 3 weeks to 2 months or so. I think that covers it. Got any specific questions?
