Well... here we are once again. Halloween in SRK like every year. Did anything happen to you or to a friend of a friend? Got any scary stories to tell? This shit is always good specially this time of year.

As for me. Nothing has ever happened to me except that I had this recurring nightmare at a house I used to live at. You know the story. I wake up and I can't talk and if I go back to sleep I went back to the nightmare. I know about the scientific explanation for it but funny thing is. This only happened at that house in that particular room. So yeah.

A while ago, me and my friends were trick or treating. We stopped at a friends house to see if she wanted to come with us, and what she was going to wear. So, she came outside and we were talking on the porch. All of a sudden, this dude came the fuck out of nowhere screaming.

He was wearing a gorilla suit complete with fur and everything. But, his penis was flailing about. He even painted his dick bright red.

The crazy motherfucker started to run at us.

We ran inside and called our parents to tell them that we weren't going trick or treating. We just lied and said that a bunch of men were riding around with paintball guns and supersoakers with bleach in them squirting people.

Stupid dickhead ruined trick or treating for me. Forever.

I was 11 then. Besides, would you go looking for candy when a man is running around with his penis out?

I have one or two Halloween stories that loosely revolve around the supernatural. There was really no ghostly involvement (that I know of), but they were still pretty funny at the time.

First up, is the story of the revenge of my friend's dead cat. Important background information for this story, is that my friend's mother had found an abandoned cat in a field one day and took it home. They named it Thornhurst after where it had been found, but eventually it's name just became Kitty. While this cat had probably been all alone out in the world, it might of been better off than staying with my friend's family. My friend Tom, the older of two brothers, tended to play a lot of mean games on the cat when he was younger. Putting a sock over it's head, hitting it with a toy train. Stupid shit like that.

After he got older and stopped tormenting it that way, it still ran into it's share of misfortune. One day while it was outside and his father was mowing the lawn, it got it's tail ran over by his mower. ;__; After that, there was a period of time where noone could find the cat. We all assumed it ran away because it hated it's family. It turned out however, that it had been locked in their shed for three days with no food or water. So, yeah, not the happiest life for this cat.

Eventually, it passed away of old age, and it became a joke in our group of friends that the cat was going to come back for revenge. One year later, around the anniversary of Kitty's death, Tom came in to school and told us he had the weirdest dream. He dreamt that the Kitty, his cat, had come back to life to take vengeance upon him. That it came in through his window while he was sleeping, climbed on top of him and then proceeded to choke him with his paws. Oh yeah. He said that when he woke up, his chest felt heavy and it was hard to breathe.

So later on, it's the day of the Kitty's death and me and another friend are staying over at his house. We decide to have a mock Ouija board ceremony at midnight over the Kitty's grave. Except we didn't have a real Ouija board so we drew one on a piece of notebook paper and went out. Obviously, it didn't work for shit. BUT as we were coming in, out of nowhere a bunch of bats showed up around his backyard and began swooping on our asses. We could hear them flapping overhead. It was just fucking bizarre. So we go inside. Later on though, we decided we're going for a walk and we exit through the back. The bats are gone now, so that's good. As we walk along the side of the house though, it seems like we all felt that we walked into a spider's web. Even though there was really no place for one to be threaded across. Weird. As we were walking, my other friend said he saw a cat moving across the street that seemed to disappear when it reached the other street. I didn't witness to confirm or deny, but it was a nice end to the chain of events for the evening.

All things that can explained with logic, but still funny when you think about how they all happened so close to each other. Mainly, the imagery of a cat choking my friend with his lil' cat paws gets me. XD
