SRK vs. MKO

You know, I'm not even sure why I'm putting this up. Maybe it'll serve as a warning for those that venture over to MKO. Or maybe just a fucking laugh :wgrin: Or maybe I just want to rant :annoy:

I've been a member over at MKO for a couple years. Back when I thought MK was the premier fighter (yeah, I was a bag of douche back then). I've since then, become a much wiser person and kinda moved away from that site for numerous reasons. MK sucks now as a game. It stopped being cool well after UMK3. MKO is great for news on new MK games but it's shit as far as gameplay mechanic discussions, trolls, and moderation and now I've grown up wanting something with more substance. It's the only place where 8 to 15 year olds run rampant with dipshit posts. It's the only place where you can be a 16 year old chick and make mod status within 3 months because of popularity, then abuse your "power". Hmmm, the only place were people argue how a game is great because of how many fatalities or secrets are in it (with the exception of a few peeps). Oh yeah, it's also the only place where you can be a chick who dates one of the head mods then makes mod status themselves in a matter of weeks then hands out bans with your lover to the members that take cracks at you two. Lovely huh? Yeah I pretty much don't frequent that place anymore. Don't believe me? Check it out for yourself. Click on any thread there and you'll see what I mean.

That's where SRK comes in. I've known about SRK for a while now but just recently became smart and joined up. Thank God I did because this is a place where grownups reside apparently. Honestly, I've been here, what, like 3 months and already this place is miles above MKO. Members here kick ass, they help each other out, and they aren't dipshits for the most part. I guess that's what happens when the average age here is like 25 years old and you don't come to this site to talk about fluff.

Hell, I've already had a ton of my questions answered, got my first Jap sticks, and got some stick parts. And I've only been here a couple months. Man, life's great. I wish I would've hooked up with this place sooner....

Man that site had/has some good players. Vers, tony, bleed, and many others. Breaking the shit out of MKA as I write this. Proving me and all the others who said what they said YEARS ago right. If you were there during the build up to this new MK game and the two before it you'd know of the small WAR that went on between new school MK gore scrubs and the players who wanted a playable fighter.

I was there for years; in fact I spent about 2-3 years spanning MK DA and MKD trying to bring some of the flaws of the game to the front. I along with many many many others. Some people listened, but most just turned a blind eye towards sonya's bouncing tits and the lame fats.

Remember fight night 2 years ago? When boon basicaly said fuck you the MK community who wanted a playable game. He made shitty excuses for his lacklustrer shit and tried to play himself off as mr. awesome. He SHAT on every MK fan who held hope for a good MK in the future.

Sad thing is the faggots who seem to live off his cock juice and shitty games seem to run that site. it took lord knows how many YEARS just to get a thread discussing gameplay flaws stickied.

I wonder if menthol and b00gieman still post there.:rofl: I'm pretty sure that if you search hard you'll find more people on that site willing to give you good gameplay discussion.

Shit. I remember you Colguile. I remember you, HDtran, TT, and Versatile regulating me on a thread I created back in the day defending MKD's gameplay before it came out. Haha. God I was a dipshit back then. It wasn't that I was even a gore/fluff scrub (never have been a super unlockable whore) but I actually attempted to argue with you guys on how you shouldn't have neggd it before it came out and that the gameplay was fine. Jeez, I actually have to thank you and the rest of those guys. If it wasn't for you, I wouldn't have ever received the insight/enlightment, whatever the fuck you wanna call it, on what a fighter is. Pretty sure I switched over to Capcom from that day on and I haven't looked back since. I also remember Boon raping everyone in the ass every FN and not looking back either. It was actually funny seeing the anarchy emerge after the FN's.
