c.lk vs s.lp during cc

when i see pros use blankas cc i see them cancel their s.hp (after a slide) with a c.lk. is there a difference cancelling the hp with the c.lk or a s.lp? ive tried to see if i could find anything in training but i havent been able to tell the difference. if pros use something i know there is a reason for it so i was wondering if anyone could help me out?

there are some combos where s.HP, s.LP will both hit the opponent, like RC elec, CC, s.HP xx ball, s.HP xx ball, s.HP, whiff c.LK.. sometimes if you were to try and whiff and s.LP it would still hit them

there's really no difference.. you can do s.HP near the corner, and then just superjump when the move ends
