UPDATE: New Match Vids

So I'm living in korea right now and last weekend was G Star aka Korean game show. So Poongko (korean capcom/kof guy) came over and spent the night at my pad. I got about 2 hours worth of cvs2 footage and uploaded them today.

Here's a how to on downloading from clubbox.
1.Select the files you want to dl by checking on the checkboxes.
2.Click on the button that has a light blue arrow pointing downward (red arrow going up is upload, dark blue arrow going down is fast dl for paid users)
3.When it promts you to install shit, just let them.
4.A dl popup window will come up when you click on the light blue arrow button, it's just confirming that you're going to dl those files. So click on the 2nd button from the left on the bottom.
5.Start dl

I'm the one using A Vega/Bison/Blanka or any team with Sagat in it.

I played with another Korean capcom player, Sootja last weekend and I got some match vids from that day.

Note that his stick had an iffy roundhouse and mine had iffy fierce. You'll see a more conservative guy than Poongko, so the matches tend to get longer than matches with Poongko. Man, I fucked up a lot in these sets. BTW, we were playing at his work so whenever he had to do some work, we paused the game.

Ah that fuckin sucks. It would've been great if it worked, cuz I have 100GB space on my clubbox and I can upload 700 megs in about 5 minutes at home.

It's the legendary terry dude, but it's his iori that's legendary and not much terry. I got used to his Terry a while back. Keep in mind that this was casual and that I haven't played cvs2 since evo, and he hasn't played cvs2 since april so we're probably not at our best. I kept fucking up RCs cuz I was on a green goblin.

very enjoyable matches because both of you play very attacking and risky styles. Since it's casuals and you said you were both rusty I'm sure you both of you made a bunch of mistakes you wouldn't have otherwise made. I loved the Chang play, deep j.hk, run, cmd throw, so fun.

quick question, can you activate into MP after devil reverse from anywhere on screen ? talking about the setup on first match.

Snaaaake - You gotta hit them somewhat close to activate and s.mp. If you get the tip of the devil reverse, you can't. Btw, I DID random activate after scissors in the 2nd match but he didn't fall for it.

Yeah, I do in the first 30 minutes or so. The weird part is, I didn't feel like I was beating him like that when I was actually playing him.

The guy is pretty good. It's too bad he kept missing his CC's. I know that those are really difficult, especially the kyo one he was trying to pull.

I think the good things these matches show are,

A. How hard it is for those characters to deal with vega... If kyo had JD or parry it might be easier, but really he has no good options for getting in on Vega outside of Random RC rekka, which can be gotten around by jump straight up, throw. Vega is just such a bad match for all of his characters.

B. Terry is limited. It's sad because he has good normals, he's just really limited in actually landing hits on someone, the dash crossup is almost all he has.

C. Yay for midscreen activation off the devil reverse, that shit is always cool.

Oh and I had a quick question, awhile back he had a video with N-groove demon setups. and I was wondering, on the ones where you use the lightkick hurricane kick to just barely crossup a downed opponent and then do the demon right as they get up, did you just put the demon in normally and The game reveresed it? or did you have to put the demon in 'Crossup'

A combo video is in the works. If all goes as planned, it should be released before the end of the year.

I got some free file converter thing that works...just use a search engine to find a program that converts avi files to wma files. You can pay, but there's a lot of free ones.
