SSF2, HF, CE? or some random hybrid of them all.

Predominantly SSF2, with some minor changes.

So, I already apologize, but which version of Sagat in HSF is the closest to O.Sagat, and what are the differences?

They nerfed O. Sagat in HSF2 (and left CE Bison alone for some reason), but CE Sagat is the next best version.

Good topic.

I swore for the longest O. Sagat was HF.

I've just wondered...why is O. Ken considered sometimes to be better than N. Ken?

I've just wondered...why is O. Ken considered sometimes to be better than N. Ken?You'll hear some people say that he has a faster walk speed, but that's not true (walk speeds are identical between Old and New versions of all characters).

I'm not sure what might make him better, but I'm guessing the old HK and more invincible SRK's might be part of it.

The fireballs are also slightly different iirc. O.Ken's jab fireball is slower and his fierce one is faster. I think he also recovers a frame or 2 quicker on his fireballs and I'm positive that's the case for his dp's.

That makes O.Ken much better suited for fireball traps.

I believe a fair amount of ST players here know about this link http://nki.combovideos.com/flame.html. My question is, since the Old characters are based on SSF2, the data for SSF2 should be accurate for the 'OGs' in ST as well?

I don't know the full extent of them, but many of the O. characters in ST have differences from their SSF2 counterparts.
