I noticed it hasn't been on CN in a while - like after Season 1 hit DVD that was it, can someone clue me in? - I work too damned much. :sad:

Was it canned for good?

Is Season 2 around the corner and I don't know it cause I don't watch enough TV?

Some other network pick it up?

My feelings are mixed on the show, mixed with a large pinch of anger. So I will not comment.

McGruder said that there are currently no plans to introduce Caesar into the show because he can't find a boy to do the voice. Regina King does Huey/Riley but he specifically wants a boy for Caesar. The problem that he runs into is every boy who tests for Caesar goes through puberty and his voice changes, I think he said he went through like 4 kids or something.

I mean look what happened to Walt on Lost, they wrote out at least two characters just cause the little mother fucker put on some inches. By the time one season is done, any kid could just start grow hair and having his voice crack.

Too bad I'm only gonna be able to watch it when it hits DVDs >_<. Great show though, and this is personal mind u- I like it a lot more than the other US animated comedy shows like Simpsons, Family Guy, etc. mainl because this series is A LOT more serious than those.

Vice City, and San Andreas arent considered (by Rockstar) to be 4. They themselves announced "Grand Theft Auto 4" awhile ago.

Probably because having an animated show like that is a pain in the ass and a lot more work than he expected? And/or he just ends up using all of his material for the show and not the strip?

The comic strip is indeed over and done, McGruder said at comic-con that though the TV show is more fun, it's incredibly difficult to create. He said that they began work on season 2 immediately after completion of season 1. I can understand why he'd want to cancel the strip, it must feel great to see something you've created get transformed into full animation (plus you get to reap the benefits of DVD sales).

wow my friend wasnt lying..i knew that they had replaced the artist and he claimed she came by jhis kinkos a few years back but i never believed him till i just checked the wikipedia and she is really from boston..damn.
