I guess I'm new here, and I was wondering if more people played third strike on xbox live or with online with ps2. I have everything I need for ps2..minus the game..but I figured more people play it on xbox. I'm looking to get the necessary stuff in the near future and I just wanted to make sure my I had the best selection of opponents.

Just depends on what you want to do? If you have lots of people to play with you, then maybe drive to tounreys and such...then PS2 or Xbox is fine. If you want don't have that, and don't mind the lag because you just want to play other than the CPU then get the xbox w/ xbox live.
The game isn't diminished by PS2 or Xbox. Just really depends on what you want to use it for.

^I think you misunderstood the question.
Ps2 version does not have online play, so xbl is your only option.

Well if you had a ps2 that could read imported games, I would get the Japanese version of Street Fighter Anniversary Collection. It offers online play but I don't know anyone that plays in the USA, which you'll be playing Japanese guys.(lag)
