How do you shoot a light punch hadoken and catch up to it by dsahing. When i shoot it the animation wont cancel and then i cant do it. Help please. Im asking this for 3rd Strike and For CvS2. Thanks

Player 2 must also dash back as well the camera moves as well allowing you enough time to catch up to it. I dont know why you would want to do this since it wont work in a real match.

oh i thought that you could cancel the animation or something when you shoot it. My bad. But r u sure

Notice in combo videos, there's always something to cancel the fireball, ie Sean throws a basketball, Dudley's Rose, Aegis Reflector, whatever, and that's how you see in those kinds of vids people catching up. A hit snaps you out of recovery. Remy though, his recovery from throwing a LOV is fast enough that he can catch up to a slower one and use that for some pressure games.
And the only way to cancel a fireball is to cancel into a super. Say your Remy SAII and you throw an LOV, and your opponent is in the air about to come down with a load of hurt, you can cancel into the super and pray your opponent can't parry well.

I do have the game I just wondered cause i try it but it never works. but thanks for the help
And for the post above me i under stand now. thanks. i thought i could use this strategy sometimes in a real match but thanks
