Okay, just a quick question, I'll provide a video if you don't understand it.. But it's simple enough.

I was watching some Yang match vids the other day, and I noticed something pretty awesome, that I've tried to do, but only done once on a bizarre accident. The Yang player had some sort of way of jumping in the air, hitting with a kick, and from the kick, he seemed to cancel straight into the Down+Right Kick...

Any idea?

While jumping forward or straight up hit MK and then quickly hit df+MK. It's Yang's signature 2 hit air chain.

What's with all these threads asking questions in xbl section. You guys know about the strategy section... right? Not to sound mean or anything, but all of this has already been answered in depth.

Yep, that's his air target combo... Yun's is lp, f+hp. Ibuki has three. etc. etc.

I'm about 99.9% sure that you can't do it with a vertical jump. The .1% doubt is because I dont have my xbox hooked up to test it right now, so I'm leaving the possibility that by some miracle I'm wrong for once.

But anyway, you might have gotten tricked into thinking it can be done from a vertical jump from a trick Yang can do in the corner. See, the divekick chain can actually be done with a forward or backward jump. So if Yang has his back to the corner, you can jump back, and j.MK. This looks like a vertical jump, but will allow you to cancel into the divekick. This is pretty tricky, and can really throw off the other person because it changes the timing of Yang's landing. Especially if the j.MK is parried (which it often is in th corner like that). You probably saw this done in some of the recent videos of KoFiend. He seems to like doing this on his own wakeup in the corner, as of late.

Yang's cat comes out after a winstreak of 3 wins in the arcade :)

What up Joe? Knowing's half the battle.

Yeah, I'd only seen roshihikari (Not sure if that's it) perform that kinda stuff. But he's got quite an awesome SAIII Yang.

Um...alright. LOL. KO and myself had some sweet casuals at NEC. Too bad we didn't get them on vid. I remember getting hit by mantis slashes a lot.

Don't take it the wrong way. Nothing against you, I just wanted to make sure the dude that asked got the most accurate information.

No...that was hella good. I don't even play Yang and when I do I just hit EX mantis button a lot.

you can do it backwards as long as the first hit made contact, you can divekick jumping backwards as long as you parried, you can vertical jump into 2 hit as long as you parried
