What makes a MVC 2 player good at MVC2? What does that person have to do in order to be considered good? What makes a MVC2 player trash what doesn't that person do to be considered trash? WAS just curious thought this might be something to discuss

good marvel players can block well and don't fuck up combos

good marvel players know how to fight mag/psy, mag/sent, cable/commando, cable/cyke, storm/sent, storm/cyke, storm/commando all the while knowing how to use most if not all of these same groups

and every top player knows how to mash

That makes sense being able to beat the good characters and knowing how to play with the good characters and how to defend against them definitely makes some one good. What about people that don't play with top characters but can still beat the ones that do where would they rank at?

people that can use the lower tier characters and win vs the duos that deus mentioned are also great players.

Using Sentinel.

Knowing how to block, having good execution, being able to adapt, and breaking out of patterns. Good shi't.

A good MvC2 player should be able to:
*throw a vicious offense
*know the possibilities of everything that happens
*understand both players teams
*combos and resets
*punish
and they must be able to do all of these things at all times during a match.

You shouldn't leave blocking out.

IMO. 3 things that a good MvC2 player should possess
1. Focus
2. Execution
3. Strategy
