Classic Rock: Cream, The Viscounts, B.B. King, Eric Clapton, Led Zeppelin, Creedance ClearWater Revival.
Grunge: Nirvana, Smashing pumpkins (early days), Pearl Jam
Punk/Hardcore: Awkward Thought, No Redeeming social value, Agnostic Front (old), Minor Threat
Metal: Slayer, Iron Maiden, Kreator.
please get shot for saying "rockers"

Also, seeing as how you come up sounding like a "rocker" you might wanna put Iron Maiden under Power Metal. Get your fuckin' genre right mr. "rocker".

Their lead guitarist was the greatest so far. I remember seeing them at Webster Hall two summers ago along with The Libertines. They blew The Libertines out of the water. Although, Invader Ace IS a cover of Guitar Wolf's original, it's still the greatest song on the first album. The second album Out of My Head was pretty weak.
