Well Just like the Doctor from California said on that site:

"I would think maybe this kid is trying something that he thinks fun to act out without having the emotional and psychological maturity to think the thing through before he acts on it"

It's Just like how one of those 2 kids who wrestled years ago got killed by a move that was being performed on him.

When your that age though you don't really try to expect the reality of what happens when you try to pull pranks or stunts like those at all.

Either way I hope they can get his body over at Guatemala.

Also though when you keep on showing shit like Sadam getting executed like that everywhere it's gonna cause kids who do watch to get curious. So in the end it's kind of the media's fault as well for this one.

I mean, think of his parents... Not just them, but all of his friends, who will never see him again, never be able to come over to his house.

Of all the suicide options...that's one of the worst ways, too. Why prolong the suffering of your exit from this life? I'd rather do something that is pretty much instant and guaranteed, like jumping off head first from a skyscraper....or I dunno...tape some grenades to my head and pull all the pins at once, or overdose on pills(nice and easy way there..just go to sleep and never wake up. Actually, that's the top choice, imo.)

Imagine someone plants a boombox(80s!!!) somewhere in the nearby area, and set volume to max....with New Kids on the Block's "HANGIN' TOUGH!!" set on repeat. That would be nice.

yeah, I'm not ashamed to admit I liked that particular New kids' song.

Honestly, the parents cannot be put to blame for everything their kids do, they're niether omnipotent nor omniscient. Kids harbor feelings just like any adult person, and can hide them even if they converse with their parents on a regular basis. A news item like that can be 30 seconds long or less, unless they're psychics I don't see how they could prevent a media bombardment of Saddam 24/7.

Do you think the first thing that should come to their mind if little Timmy has a rope and a wagon is- "OMG Timmy, don't hang yourself!"

Its about twine that parents took responsibility for their kids. If you let them run free they are just gonna start hanging with the wrong crowd. On topic, it seems like it is partially the parents' fault as well. By that age, a kid should know what is real or not. I got a feeling that he is the type of kid (had he lived) that would have shot up somebody of an overpass because he saw it in a game. I have a 6 year old little girl, and am always reminding her that the stuff she sees on TV is not real, and if it is (she doesnt usually watch the news) then I explain to her the consequences of said actions. I agree, a parent cant be there 24/7/365, but if you start at an early age, chances of crap like this happening drop almost to nil.....

Jumping off of shit gives you a nice bit of time to think shit over, especially if you're jumping off a skyscraper. IIRC it's been said that at some point you will shit/piss yourself in fear as you fall if you're fully conscious. =/

The grenade thing can fail and leave you a scarred up mess on scuicide watch for the forseeable future.

Pills can fail too, as sometimes once you go unconscious you puke that shit up. Either that or during the hours it takes for some shit to work someone finds you. *shrug*
