i was doing my usual web surfing when i came along this game has anybody played this before? Looks pretty sweet imo

Fun, but it can get repetitive. Since grinding doesn't have a point (item drops), you only really grind for enough experience to clear the next level.

www.ragnarokbattle.com is probably the best way to get into this game with this game. I played it semi-seriously for a while, until the buggy-as-hell Extra Scenario 3 came out. Then I utterly gave up on French Bread's people EVER learning to code.

I'm not 100% sure how to install it, though aside from the normal mount image stuff. You might have to enable jap stuff on your computer. I'll re-install it if anyone really needs help, though.

I'll see if I have the expansions lying around.

Yeah, I have this on a disc. Have played and beat it. I believe I have the download link in my Favorites, but you have to sign up (Free). I don't know if SRK would let me post it, so PM me if you want the link.

Expansions included, with Soundtracks, but I don't know how to properly install those.

Man, if I had to click away through Diablo 2 without the carrot-on-a-stick of set gear, I would have stopped after Andariel.

Anyone else not able to launch this thing? I installed it and ran that update thing but when I try and run it, it like pops up on the start menu for a split second then just ends.

edit: oops figured it out I had to change compatibly to windows 2k for some reason

Impact Hound: No clicking away, though. It's a sidescrolling beat-em-up, and you don't need to grind to beat it. Just play the levels in sequence and you'll level up fast enough unless you fail at beat 'em ups. :p

Find the icon that starts the game, right click it, and go to Properties, then on the tabs click on Compatibility, and then check the box next to ''Run this program in compatiblity mode for:'' and then select ''Windows 2000'' in it and click apply and then ok.

That should do it.

What exactly are the updates like? I don't want to download and beat it again unless its worth it. I don't see any new job classes is all these Videos.

I'm pretty sure the update adds one level, and allows you to play as a Novice and...that's it.
