Onimusha 3 specifically, good game.
Shinobi - PS2
And I also recommend Ninja Gaiden Black especially if you're looking for a challenging game.

Better yet, get Ninja Gaiden Black. Greatest ninja game of all-time, and simply one of the best games of all-time.

Hell, the entire Onimusha series, including Dawn of Sorrows. Elite game series. And yea, if you're gonna play Gaiden, get Black (if you own a 360), or Sigma when it drops (if you own a PS3).
Blood Will Tell (PS2)
Nightshade/Kunoichi (PS2)

You mean Wrath of Heaven? Yeah, it had great controls and music.
Genji was another.

Cool. I always wanted to play/get that game but was always skeptical. Well, time to find me a copy. Should be dirt cheap now.

Tenchu: Wrath Of Heaven (best ninja simulation game period......imo)
Better than Tenchu 1 and 2 because of the numerous ninja special abilities you can unlock.....:karate:

Ninja Gaiden Black for Xbox users. (Not THAT hard guys... not until Very Hard mode at least...) and Genji for PS2 users. Genji is really short though. Tenchu is sick, but imo its splinter cell with ninjas and splinter cell does it WAYYYYYY better.
Onimusha is really good as well. Personally, I like Onimusha One more than two, but two was pretty good. The entire Onimusha series plays like a slowed down version of Devil May Cry (not ninjas, but still AWESOME sword and gun combat... well, at least number 3 was.) Ultimately its up to you though.
^^
Maybe NGB isn't that hard for you - but master ninja mode kicked my ass.
Also, Dante may not be a ninja nor samurai, but he's as badass as either so I'd recommend Devil May Cry 3 for another good action game.

QFT, one of my favorite games ever. The second one is good too, but the first is just awesome.

PS2 Tenchu was pretty awesome. I particularly liked the co-op missions, versus mode is only for messing around. The combat system is too broken for cheesing people to death. What was up with the generic monk character having a hurricane kick and projectile though? lol

Tenchu 1 was great.. Wrath of Heaven took that and gave it better controls.

The great thing about Shinobi is that is has infinite replay value on just one boss.

Tenchu is ok. Some of the later stages, IMO, give off an almost Silent Hill creepiness that I didn't really expect.

Yeah, that's one thing I would have liked to have more of in NINJA Gaiden: ninjas. Still a kickass game though

You really should think about a gamefly subscription. Its the netflix of videogames, i've used it many times in the past. They have nearly EVERY game, old & new(no imports though).
